First they did the arcade games. There was a good variety of games. Games were like 4-10 tickets per game. The cards our aunt got for the kids had like 40 tickets each. Next a few of the kids hit some balls in the batting cages. Lastly came a round of mini golf. The kids picked the course on the far right. It was the first time our kids played and they loved it. Our Aunt got some pizzas and sodas. The pizza was surprisingly decent. I honestly wasn't expecting much. The one "comment" was that all 3 pizzas looked over cooked/burnt. The alleys themselves are OK but the scoring machines are miserable. They must be at least 30 years old and are in HORRIBLE condition. You practically need a sledgehammer to press the keys, they have a tendency to shut down at random and if you ask the folks at the desk for help you get a death-stare (after they reluctantly acknowledge your presence). I'm really trying to be kind here when I politely ask that the owner/management upgrade the scoring machines or remove them altogether. The bowling experience here would be much more pleasant keeping score the old fashioned way with a pencil and paper. I'll most likely continue to stop by and peek in to see if anyone at the lanes decides that a upgrade does indeed make sense to insure customer convenience - if not I'll have to find somewhere else to spend my leisure-time dollars. I sincerely hope the Rose Bowl values its customer base.

I can't speak to league or professional standards but the lanes seem well kept and we haven't experienced any mechanical problems with pin set and ball return etc. The newer wine bar is really quite nice too. We have stopped in just for that before. On our most recent visit we brought our kids. Our younger is 12 years old with a high level of special needs. Upon entering we had an encounter with a very rude league bowler. We decided their presence was not worth the risk knowing our child can be disruptive even from the opposite end of the lanes (not always, but he has his moments). To that end: The staff stepped right up and very sternly addressed the unacceptable behavior of the league bowler. I don't think they were even aware yet that our son has special needs. I am incredibly appreciative of that, not many people will so quickly intervene and do what is right. They lost our business that day because of a very rude patron, but not of their own accord. We will be back, we will just call ahead next time to make sure it is a good time to bring our kids. Five stars and highly recommended for a quality facility and quality staff.

At the time, I spoke with the owner, who seemed apologetic and willing to address the situation. Based on that experience, I later posted a review sharing my concerns. Today, we returned to the park hoping to move forward. Shortly after arriving, the owner approached us and said she remembered me and my son. She then spoke privately with an employee, who came over and informed us that we were banned from the facility. As the parent of a child with autism, this experience was disappointing and upsetting. What made it especially difficult was that I had believed the situation had been resolved after speaking with the owner. Being recognized upon arrival and then told we were banned left me feeling embarrassed, singled out, and unwelcome. I believe families of children with special needs deserve to be treated with respect, understanding, and clear communication. I wanted to share our experience so that other families can make informed decisions.

Also didn't tried the food but the place smelled amazing and everything from the menu was reasonably priced. We only saw the bar menu which included mozarella sticks, wraps, among other finger foods. I noted there was a club storage area, so you can keep a set there and you can drop in 24/7 to practice or play. I also noticed a club repair area. I've been to most of the simulators in the Rochester area. This is the most relaxed, golf practice/improvement focused in the area. The lack of food service and particularly, alcohol shows that this is a truly golf focused place where people enjoy the spirit of the game and its improvement.
