Pub is pretty good, good owners and customer service. No food but if you have no food as a pub, it needs to add some basic salty bar snacks, free or for Nominal $$. Otherwise, great place. read more

Parkway Pub is another strip mall bar. It doesn't seem like it will be anything special. There's lots of places that look like this. It's better because of the price and service. This is one of those places that has sports on dozens of TVs. It gets mostly a few regulars. It's rare for newcomers to come in. The regulars are mostly friendly though. Prices here are good depending on what it is you buy. Wells are about $3 so it's not terrible. Beer prices can be overpriced. This is even for common domestics, so avoid beer and just get liquored up. It doesn't regularly have food. Sometimes it will for sports events. When there's football on they might have pizza. read more

This is one of the many hidden bars along the roadside in Powell. I came here after a night of drinking to meet some friends (as I was having a rough night). The beers are a little pricey-but they have drink specials, so maybe it's a place to skip your choice brew and go with the special-all the time. I met the owners, who were really cool, down to earth people. So damn friendly and talkative. As it was close to closing time, I didn't get "the full experience" but everyone there was friendly (even at closing time), and I enjoyed my drinks and conversation. Despite its plain exterior, strip mall location, and severely suburban location, this little bar is actually quite nice. They have a small but varied draft beer selection and a good offering of high end liquor at reasonable prices. The service was exceptional - our bartender stayed and chatted with us just the right amount, not too brusque, not too overbearing. Be warned - there's no food at this bar, although they'll gladly order you a pizza from any of the local chains nearby. The pub also has a small stage, and they did a nice job of keeping the volume low enough to allow for conversation. Bottom line: of you're looking or a casual but reliable local bar, this is a good option. read more

Parkway Pub is pretty much the coolest bar in Ohio. We were visiting Powell and stopped by the Pub nearly every night. I think the aforementioned drunk, inappropriate old man is awesome and the owner/ bartender rules. She made us a bouquet of hand-picked flowers to take home to a friend whom we had pissed off. Best bar in Powell. Family run, lots of locals makes you feel at home. Drink prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is relaxing and fun. The bartenders remember your name and go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. They put on golf outings, BBQ, invest in bands, etc to entertain their guests. This is the "Cheers" of Powell! It is a down to earth environment that is family owned and run by Ron and Lori, who will know your name and your drink the second time ya stop by! (Expect a hug by the third visit!) The regulars are priceless and the prices are beyond reasonable! They have recently added Pub Grub via their very own, cool food truck, where Ron (trained chef) cooks up some pretty sophisticated "grub" from an ever changing menu. They offer drink specials, food cook offs and a little patio out back where you'll be greeted upon entry. My only fear is that by writing this, they might become too popular! Being new to the Powell area I became familiar with Parkway as it is very close to where I work. The owners are there every night and learned my name (and remembered it) after one visit! Parkway has a great selection of imports and domestics as well as a full bar with great top shelf choices. I always enjoy my visits there. The atmosphere is great, I love the hometown feel! If there was such a thing as a "Typical" suburbanite dive bar. Parkway Pub would be the mold. Located in a relatively new strip mall complex in Powell. It sports a nice selection of overpriced draft beer for the snooty cliental. If your looking at getting a domestic out of the bottle look to pay about $4.00. The bar is clean and seems to attract a crowd of 40 something's and late night cougars. I saw a few people eating pizza and it did look quite tasty however I never bothered to order one. Live music and a DJ probably make this place tolerable. However, the local Powell flavor and beer prices puts this bar on my do not return list. read more

Great little bar that definitely has a lot more to offer than the plain exterior. I'm new to town and the owners were very friendly/accommodating. Definitely a bar where everyone knows your name. Great selection of beers especially on draft. Not overly dominated by the meh domestics. Décor and patrons were very welcoming. I'll definitely be going back. WOW! Some friends and I stopped by this bar on the way to a high school lacrosse game. The glasses were ice cold and the beer just as cold. The single bartender behind the bar was flying around and kept a huge smile on her face, we all took notice to her amazing work ethic and ability to stay on top of it! We noticed the food truck in the parking lot and the menu was on our table upon our seating. I opted for the Chicken Tenders and they were well above the quality of "normal" bar food. We were sad to leave after having only 4-5 beers. This place was so exceptional we have vowed to make the trip from Cincinnati just for this bar! read more

My husband and I have been coming here for years! We love it! We've made great friendships with some of the many regulars who frequent Parkway. Ron and Lori are amazing bartenders/owners. If you go to Parkway, I promise you won't be disappointed! I love coming here after a long day at work because there's always a friendly face to talk to. It's especially fun to go to the pub to watch OSU games as well as NFL games. On gamedays there's usually food provided by either Ron the owner (he makes the best pulled pork) or a local vendor brings food. You can also order pizza and have it delivered. We pulled up to a very empty parking lot and decided to have a drink beings we were there. And I can honestly say it was one the best bars I've ever been to. Cool bar. Not as uppity as some others in the Powell area. Yuengling drafts were affordable for me, and plenty of flavored vodkas for my wife at a reasonable price. Cool jukebox where you can control from your iPhone if you download the proper app (a little setup is required, but not too painful). We heard a wide array of music from country, to classic rock, to hardcore hip-hop, but it wasn't at blow your eardrums out levels. The owners seem cool.
