I absolutely love this spot since new ownership revamped the food menu. I really appreciate that there are gluten free & dairy free options! The cocktails have remained incredible and consistent. There are even more bourbon selections. My only complaint as far as drinks is they do not have any NA options or mocktails. Feels like a missed opportunity. We really enjoyed the patio this summer and love that it is dog friendly. Zayne from Blue Spectrum plays here often, which is just one more reason we love to come!

Was here about a month ago for dinner. Great place for a different atmosphere. It's small not to many tables and not much parking . I had the lemon chicken pasta which was very good and my daughter had the rice bowl that she really liked . They do have live music on some nights

We went here for date night. So glad we did. Hands down one of the best meals we have had in a long time. I got the Boursin pasta and my husband got the bbq pork Mac and cheese. Both were delicious. We got the steak sliders for an appetizer, also amazing. For drinks I got a French 75 and my husband got an old fashioned. Both amazing! The service was fantastic, we sat at the bar, it was nice to have conversation with them and we got our food and drinks very quickly. We will absolutely be back!

Came here for dinner tonight. They have a wonderful bourbon barn and patio. I got the Yard bird chicken sandwich and fries. It was delicious and came out very quickly! Also parking - they have a small lot. And then an even bigger lot in the back by city hall. The new owners made it really nice!

My husband and I checked out Prohibition Gastro Lounge in Powell for a little date night, and overall, it was a great experience! The vibe inside is pretty casual and loud, we ended up sitting on the patio since the weather was perfect, and I'm glad we did. We started with cocktails, I had the Tequila 75, and my husband went with a Long Island Iced Tea. Both drinks were good, though I wouldn't have minded them being just a bit stronger. For appetizers, we ordered the Korean chicken and truffle fries. I thought the Korean chicken was going to be wings, but it came boneless, not mad at it though! They were fried perfectly and the sauce was sooo good. The truffle fries were regular fries with an aioli and honestly delicious. For dinner, my husband got the Mongolian steak bowl, and I had the lemon shrimp pasta. His bowl was super flavorful, tender steak, tasty rice, veggies, everything hit the mark. But let me tell you... the pasta? OMG. light, creamy, just the right amount of lemon, and the shrimp were fried perfectly. Probably one of the best pastas I've had in a long time. Our waiter was great too, they were bust but he was attentive and friendly. All of our food came out in a reasonable time. Would definitely come back again, especially for that shrimp pasta.

If you're looking for a no frills fun lounge with live music, go to Prohibition Gastro lounge. The service is friendly and the food is pretty good as well. Regarding the food, we decided to share their starters. The Korean fried chicken was very good -- it is lightly breaded and tossed in their Gochujang sauce. The dish is very large and definitely not what you'd expect from an appetizer/starter. The warm pretzels starters were very nice as well and coupled well with their spicy cheese sauce. The ground beef meatballs came topped with tomato ketchup and brown sugar. I'm a big meatball fan but the ketchup didn't work as well with it. It wasn't bad, but not great. Their cocktails were excellent!

I was not sure what to expect after reading some of the other reviews, so dinner here really exceeded my expectations. Our server was so great and I took both of her recommendations. She did not steer me wrong on either the pear flatbread or the pineapple martini. The flatbread comes on a cauliflower crust but don't let that scare you away. It was light and crispy and tasted just like pizza crust. It was the perfect serving size to feel full without feeling stuffed. If you like french fries, they have several kinds of "loaded" fries on the menu. Sounds like a good reason to come back again. Also loved the outdoor patio and the bonus live music drifting over from Local Roots.

Marlena L and I both enjoyed the food and service amidst Trivia Night. When we chose this place, I had forgotten it is a casual family pizza type restaurant, and it was new to Marlena. The staff did a great job with this special menu. I had made reservations, which felt silly with the seat yourself sign, but then discovered we had a high-top indeed reserved for us. I had the Berry Burrata Salad, Tempura Cod, and Sweet Corn Muffins for my 3 courses for $35. The salad was a bit dry, so I asked for extra Raspberry Vinaigrette. Other than that, it was very good. The arugula, red onion, berries and burrata tasted so fresh. The cod, fries and apple coleslaw were really good. The cod and fries had nice seasoning. The apples in the slaw were a great addition. Really yummy. The corn muffins with honey glaze hit the spot. I nice change for a dessert. I had a Manhattan at the bar while waiting, and a glass of white wine with dinner. I would recommend for the next RW!

The loaded fries were a winner, although eat them quick while they're hot because as they cool down, they lose their crispness and like ability. The Stromboli bites were small and seemed like they were a little bit well done for me, wish I would've taken a picture. My cheesesteak was recommended as one of the better things on the menu, but quite frankly it was a weird taste as well as definitely like pot roast with cheese, whiz, and cheese on it. It wasn't my favorite. I wish I would've gotten a burger.

The bar staff are pretty unfriendly and weirdly enough, there is no standing room inside to grab a drink while you wait for a table. Also the music is strange. The hostess was very soft spoken, and didn't seem to be enthused to be there. She reluctantly let 2 of us sit and the other 2 stand. Maybe there was some issue that day that we don't know about? The bar area inside is relatively small, which I think adds an extra layer of coziness. The bartenders didn't acknowledge us at all, and when we finally we able to grab their attention, the female bartender didn't say so much of a hi, but said well did you talk to the hostess. We said yes, she reluctantly made our drinks. The cocktails are gorgeous. But we wanted some shots of dark rum. I kid you not, it was like they were refusing to give us these. It took 20 minutes -we counted- to get this. The food- I grew up in Hawaii, and this by no means is Hawaiian food. With that said, I loved the loaded fries. Everything else, hush puppies, coconut shrimp was just ok. The lobster rangoons were just terrible, they were overwhelmingly lemon-y. My sister had the burger and she said it was really good. A tiki bar should have a welcoming vibe, and this just isn't it. I might give the patio another shot if it's open, but for now this is a pass.
