Bryan was quick to get back to my inquiry and was at the house to assess the project within a day. 2) Knowledgeable. Our refrigerator had leaked and warped several boards. Bryan explained the pros and cons of board replacement vs letting the boards dry out. We went with the latter and saved money. We had another challenge in the fact that we did not have two rooms refinished which meant seamless color matching. Alfredo was an artist and had an eye for selecting the perfect match. Although the final decision was ours, his experience was a definite help. 3) Efficient. The whole process from start to finish only took three days. We used the opportunity for a little vacation in the mountains and came home to beautiful floors! 4) Professional. Let me share with you my experience,…read more Walter their salesman came out to give me a bid Once he found out that Home Depot had done the estimate already, he just used the amount of boxes which was about 80 for the estimate. He did no measuring or anything else. He was gone in about 10 minutes. (I needed only labor as I was purchasing the material from Home Depot.) Once we agreed on Price to have all the existing solid wood baseboard, removed the new floor put down and the baseboard put back. I agreed to the job. Pricing; I agreed on 50% down and 50% when the job was completed to maintain some control of the final product I'm very glad I did this. Their policy is to get 100% upfront, which I never recommend anyone for any service, ever do. The very next day after agreeing on terms with Walter, I got a call asking for 100% of the money I told this lady that's not what we agreed to and she said well that's what we normally do and I said you better call Walter. I'm gonna cancel the job. She did came back excepted 50% Overall, the subcontractors that came out from a company called Sun sunshine floors did a pretty good job putting in the material But it's the follow up , putting doors back on , getting trim put back on that was a real headache and took me almost 30 days to get done and also a threat of a complaint to get what I considered to be a very reasonable discount about $370 off my bill In the end, I fixed the existing problems myself because it was too much of a headache after they finally agreed to give me the discount Finally, a reminder again if you use this company, do not pay 100% upfront you'll have no control over the job over anything that needs to get fixed and you'll be working on their timetable, while they have all your money ------- Part 2 It's smart that Kelly took down her first knee jerk response to my above comment since is was inaccurate and not well researched. "Telling me I agreed not to leave public comment in agreement for the discount" -that was true if you accepted my generous offer.... the first go round. Technicians arrived without a level, had to borrow mine. Art was hung but not squared up. Second project was to pull OLED TV out of box, attach stand and place on entertainment center. Styrofoam was not cleaned up, left out of box in pieces. Third was to install curtain rod hangers above windows. Dry wall dust left below each installation location, one hanger of 4 remounted and askew. See photos. Invoice included a double billing of hardware, while only 1 was used. Technicians kept 2nd piece of hardware yet tried to charge me for it. Invoice had to be adjusted, based on photo evidence of unopened product. Beware of being overcharged, as their pricing was the most competitive. I paid them to do the same quality of work I could've done myself, so why even hire them?
