We wash our own clothes and get them to iron, because let's face it, who wants to iron a business shirt. We usually get a basket of stuff for about $20. We often get dry cleaning and they always do an excellent job. You can also go there to do your washing and wait or have them do it. I have also asked a few times for some sewing work which is pretty cheap. The best part of this place is the owner Jack, who is seriously the nicest guy. His wife Jane is lovely too. I doubt they ever sleep, because they are always there and always busy and I think they only close on Christmas - they need a break!! Solution is getting someone to do it all for you. This laundromat does a range of services such as altering, dry cleaning and of course the classic washing. They do a laundry bag wash and with that all those hours of slogging up and down stairs to the washer and dryer is no longer your concern. They charge roughly $25-$30 for about 10 days worth of washing. I go to the gym daily and work clothes each day so combined I would have a sizeable amount to be washed. They offer same day service and hours are pretty long 7am-7pm most days so it's possible to drop before and collect after work. Been using them for about 6 months and have had very few issues with them regarding quality. On one occasion a t-shirt or two was damaged but partly because they aren't meant for dryer but that's my fault. Convenient and affordable would have no problem recommending them to a friend.

The owner saw me struggling to get all my washing and my children out to the car in the rain; after putting my children in the car I turned to go back in for my laundry only to find the owner standing there having carried it out for me. It really is a fantastic place to take your washing. Just a little icing on the cake, if you don't want to do it yourself you can simply drop of your dirty washing and they will clean and dry it for you!

Grab a coffee from any of the countless cafes nearby and take a sit on the bench outside, or take advantage of the magazines provided to keep you occupied. This place is a keeper and a true lifesaver on a Sunday afternoon when you suddenly realize you have no clothes for work the next day!

Luckily Glebe has a few different laundry services to choose from. In my experience, the best one is Hoang Sanh. There are a couple things I like about this place: I like the fact that they always match my socks up correctly (it's shocking how polka dot with polka dot, paisley with paisley can be such a difficult concept). I like that the male owner has the uncanny ability to fold my t-shirts into the most perfect rectangle one might ever see. I also like the fact that it's a family establishment. I rarely walk in their door without receiving a friendly little RAM into my shin by a 3 year-old driving a plastic car. Lastly, I like the "no judgment" approach to dry cleaning. One time after a particularly huge day / night out, I brought in my favorite white skirt with grass stains all over the back and technicolor cocktail spillage on the front. I gave it to the owner sheepishly with down-cast eyes and a "please, please it's my favorite!" Without even the hint of a scolding, she took it, sorted it out and with 4 two-dollar coins I was able to buy back my dignity a couple days later.
