This is a follow up to my previous review. Last month we purchased a new Class C from Camping World. I'm updating this review, because the contrast could not be more glaring. The entire experience, from sales to delivery to prep to follow through, was light years better than Parris. I almost feel like the unit we bought from Parris ("new", it says here) was either a parts depository or previously sold and returned. The list of problems is too long to even try to share; but the biggest problem on the list was they didn't care about the other problems. Parris is a "Volume Dealer", which has many meanings. It primarily means that they operate on low profit margins which are offset by high volume. The problem there is that soon that dealer falls into the trap of relying on volume only. That's all they care about. Sales volume. Turning units. They DON'T care about the customer or the end result, which their reviews show. The huge majority are either 5 or 1 star. If there are no problems, I suppose they rate high. If there are problems they are terrible. We gave them a chance when the problems arose again and were dismissed with the same old "performing as engineered" and "that's on the manufacturer, not us" answers we got last year UNTIL I mentioned trading it in. Then all of the sudden, the tune changed. I started getting messages from the General Manager about the great trade in numbers he had come up with. He heard "trade in", so he heard "volume" and "turning a unit". All of the sudden, he cared. I'm sorry if he inferred that we were interested in anything Parris had in their inventory, or that we would EVER buy ANYTHING from them again. We won't. Caveat Emptor read more

Upfront and honest! Purchased my 2020 ATC 8.5x36 this past weekend and the process was smooth. Gave me fair trade in value for my trailer, and their prices are fair as well. I drove 1400 miles round trip for my new toy and was thrilled there were little to no surprises. Any issue I found during my inspection, Parris RV fixed and made sure I was happy prior to driving back home to AZ. Salesperson lied to us and so did the person doing the walkthrough after we purchased a $160k Riverstone. We were assured that since we live hundreds of miles away in another state they would check to make sure everything functioned prior to picking it up. That never happened. Appliances were swapped with non-functioning ones while sitting on the lot during the winter (the dryer had to be replaced while we were there finalizing the sale) and I still have a dented and non-functioning dishwasher. I even asked the person doing our walkthrough to have someone check the dishwasher because I found a part lying under the sink and was told that they did and it was fine. The goddamn hoses weren't even connected! I am still waiting to get a soundbar remote that was missing and a replacement part for damaged furniture. The sad thing is that everybody is so nice and accommodating when you are there but they lie to your face. read more

We had a great experience with Parris North in Murray. Steven was great. He knew so much about the trailer we wanted. He knew even more than you think he would due to him coming from the service department. Jake did our financing and here was great also. He really worked with us to get the interest rate to where we wanted it. He wasn't pushy to buy the upgrades. Jared in the service department did our walk through. It answered all of our and made sure we understood before he moved on to the next thing. Our added upgrades were done in a timely manner. We would definitely buy from them again. Customer service and financial department are both terrible. Paid cash for a motorhome only to find out later that they did not pay the ttl. They didn't even prep the motor home or generator. Oil in generator was changed at 63 hrs per writing on filter. It had over 600 hrs on it when I bought it. Oil in motor home only had 10% life left. The interior trim boards fell off, the roof leaks water. 2021 Super C with 15k miles. Very bad business! Buyer beware.. read more

Penny was great. She was helpful wasn't pushy and got us what we needed. Beware of the shop and signing your walk through paper. Apparently it is your responsibility they say they will button everything up for travel and that wasn't the case. After we did our walk through and I signed the stupid paper they weren't done with my trailer and I was told to go look at the parts shop till they were done. I was told everything was ready for travel. Once I got back to my home town all the doors were damaged because the were not secured by Parris rv like I was told they were. And I was told it was my responsibility to go back in once my truck was hook up to make sure every thing was actually secure. I spent a lot of money on a brand new 5th wheel for it to be damaged and Parris not take responsibility and now I have to go through warranty. Never again will I trust someone in this shop. We will see if warranty even fixes this to make it right. I'll update if I feel like my problems were taken care correctly or it will stay a one star. After reading other reviews this isn't the first time they have done this to someone... I don't know how someone could feel right about watching a customer drive away knowing they didn't do their job correctly. read more

Our recent purchase of a Coachman trailer at the Murray North location was one of the best experiences ever in purchasing a trailer! The salesman, Hunter and Aj who showed us through our new trailer were fantastic! Even the two mechanics who put on our new hitch were very friendly and helpful! Hunter went above and beyond to get us the best deal. Horrible customer service. We called a few weeks ago, receptionist is an idiot. We asked for help on our 2025 Dynamax Isata5, we had just purchased in California as they are a certified service center. She refused us to speak to a service guy, saying that they don't get paid to talk on the phone. WTF??? Seriously?? Hubby called back and spoke to a salesman who said, yes, they sell Dynamx and he's looking right at one, when receptionist said they don't sell or service dynamax's. Liar!!! He tried to help us. On top of that, they gave me a fair amount for my trade in - $10K more than the leading competitor. They kept their word on supplying new batteries, propane and a tank of gas. The process was seamless starting with Dustin in sales, all the way through finance. lol these guys spew all this safety bs about making sure they don't let anyone leave the property unsafe. I get on the freeway ten miles in a tire blows. I get under the trailer and see that all the tires are 15 years old. Call them, they tell me they don't replace tires, I should of caught it, but tell me there guys do a superb job of inspecting the trailers before we buy them:) I guess I should of brought tires and changed them on there lot before before I left. Parris is a JOKE!!! This review has been a long time coming. We purchased a Heartland Cyclone from Parris in September 2022 and it has been nothing but a giant pain. The very first trip we used it both the kitchen sink and shower drains we not hooked properly and leaked all over the trailer. Including into the electrical area of the trailer. The gas line to the stove was not hooked up and the fuel tank was not able to be filled with fuel. (I wonder how they checked to see if it was working?) The bed was broken and did not rest level. The head was about 4 inches lower than the feet and the switch to lower it was broke. We had to manually put the bed down. We took it strait to Parris and were told they would get it fixed. We gave them a list of items and it was an extensive list. Weeks later I was told the trailer was done and picked it up. When I got it home I found most of the items on the list were not actually fixed. This has been the way Parris has "FIXED" our trailer for just over a year now. We have had the trailer with us for only half the time we have owned it. We have missed trips and lost food due to a fridge that does not work above 5,500 feet. When we asked Parris about the fridge they told us they were not aware and they could put a High Altitude kit on it and fix the problem. Parris later came back to us saying there is no High Altitude kit for this particular fridge. We have been lied to and told one thing and gotten another. Brett Parris and his team are great salesmen but have no clue about what they are selling. They do not care about the customer. They only care about the bottom line. I asked how I could sell a trailer with so many issues and I was told I don't need to disclose the issues because they are "Fixed". That shows you what Parris cares about. This is really more of a whole complex, as it appears they have a new parts/maintenance building and it's quite the campus. I entered from State Street to the main RV lot and parked just west of the building. I went in and they directed me to the small road just to the north of this (which you can access from State, or just exit the gate on the lot) and parked there to go in to their parts department. This long skinny building also has their service department, I believe, so you can bring in your rig to get repairs. There are a few aisles to peruse with all of your essentials, but I went to the desk to inquire about the part I was looking for. Unfortunately, I was out of luck. But they were nice about it and offered a few suggestions. Ultimately, I wound up finding a part online and ordering it, but I did give it my all to go in and support the local guys. They do have big rigs here, but they also seem to focus a little more on the smaller ones. They had a couple of overland utility type trailers set up--the kind that are quite small and have a tent that opens up on the top part. Very cool, if you're into that kind of thing, and I think you could even go up and crawl into the tent if you wanted--but don't quote me on that go doing it, best to ask permission first. read more

Sales is great. Service and customer service post sale is a joke. I've tried calling to schedule things that our sales rep said would be covered post sale and it was like pulling teeth to get an appointment scheduled. Finally got it scheduled and when I showed up they didn't have all the parts needed to do all repairs, even though I was scheduled out months for the first appointment. After escalated to my sales rep and their management they were finally able to get it resolved. I got a notice in the mail informing me there was a recall so I called the store to schedule that and again the customer service was crap. One store sent me to another store since the other store supposedly does all warranty repairs. The other store was understaffed based on the service volume. The receptionist, Kaylee, said someone would eventually get back to me but couldn't say more than it would be later that day (Saturday) or Monday most likely. I asked her if I could just wait on hold until one of the service agents was available. She wouldn't let me do that and told me she had to get off the phone. Hopefully they call back on Monday, but so far it seems like a repeat of the past experiences I've had with Parris RV. I would not recommend Parris RV at all. read more

We have bought our last 2 trailers from Parris RV and feel they have the best selection and pricing around. However, I have always heard the service department was substandard , and our recent transaction is a reflection of that. We had a list of things we needed to get done, and after the process took us 2+ months to complete we set out on our first trip this spring and found that items that we were told were fixed, were not. In addition, we now have a big chunk out of our countertop that was caused while it was there, and rather than owning up to the damage, didn't even let us know thinking somehow we wouldn't notice. This dealership sold my husband and I an unsafe trailer! We went Friday, July 29th, to pick up the trailer and were told that they do a complete inspection of the trailer before we pick it up. After driving 4 hours to UT to pick it up, we got it loaded onto our truck and began our 4 hour drive home through the pequops only to find out that the trailer has NO brakes!! He limped the trailer home and then he messaged Casey, the sales guy that helped us, and asked if they checked the brakes on the trailer, to which Casey replied yes. He said they checked all the wiring to make sure it worked and then they engaged the brakes and made sure the wheels weren't turning. We wake up Saturday morning and my husband goes to check the brakes. There's absolutely NO WAY they checked them at the dealer. He did the exact thing Casey said their techs did to the trailer and the tire spun freely, even with the brakes engaged. So he called to speak with Casey, but he was busy and we ended up getting Gary, the Sale Manager. Gary said that he couldn't authorize taking the trailer in to get them fixed. So Gary spoke with the service manager, who told us to take the trailer to Les Schwab and get a quote for the cost of the brakes in the trailer and send it to them, and that they would take care of it. We then call les schwab and they tell us to bring it right then and they could squeeze us in for a quote. While my husband is there the tech tells my husband that one of the tires was separating and that we'd need a new tire as well. They get the quote on the brakes done and sent over to Gary we don't hear anything after that. Fast forward to Monday when Gary finally gets back to us, he said that he spoke with the GM of the dealer and they would only cover half the cost of the brakes to "help us out" because they don't service brakes on a used trailer. When we call les Schwab to let them know what Gary said the tech let us know that the right front magnetic that engages the brakes was completely warn out and missing!! We let them know what Parris RV said and they had to get a hold of them for credit card info. We ended up paying the other half and purchasing the new trailer tire. After it was finished at les schwab, we were bringing the trailer home and discovered that the skin on both sides arw separating from the walls! This trailer isn't even structurally sound! We weren't comfortable towing the trailer to my husbands job location 6 hours away, as this was supposed to be a living space for him on his miner's schedule, so now we're out the cost of the brakes, a new tire, the trailer itself because it's unusuable at this point for safety reasons, and the cost of a hotel for another week. Definitely would NOT recommend buying from these guys read more

Somehow I finally received it damaged and they're not willing to refund my money because they said it was damaged in shipping. I'm not even sure how that's my issue, but they don't seem to take any accountability or have any fire to Resolve issues in an expedient manner. Worst Customer service ever experienced from a RV Store. I purchased a 2318 Rockwood Tent trailer from Parris RV in the fall of 2024. When I went to pick the trailer up in the fall there were holes in the canvas, the roof seals were cracked, obvious problems that should have been fixed prior to my traveling there to pick the trailer up. The service Manager Colton is nonresponsive to customer problems and there is no general manager at the store in Payson. I used the trailer for the first time the last week of April 2025. The roof vent cracked and attempts to get Service Manager Colton on the phone leaving several messages were not returned. It is obvious that there is no one supervising the store and the employees in general are unresponsive to customer problems. THe sales team at this store was great! You will not be able to get any service done at this facility. I have called the Murray store to see if I could get the GM there to assist, however he was not there, I did leave a message for a return call, I am not optimistic. read more

Ordered and bought 2021 Shadow Cruiser in May 2021 with an exclusionary extended warranty. From the beginning we should have known it was a mistake, The fastest walk through, main answer to our questions was "I don't know but you'll get a book of instructions." We received no instructions as to how to hitch up, no safety about towing, or chocking etc. Thankfully my husband had truck driving experience because after we signed paperwork, we walked alone to find our trailer in the parking lot.We did not even make it back to Texas before screws/parts (fenders) were falling off the side of the trailer. But when we called to see where we could get repairs done we were told there was no where close that was authorized. Fast forward to Michigan (July 2021) we had to have the door repaired because it would not close, those fenders fixed, AND for a recall on the water heater. We had to drive to Elkhart Indiana for manufacturer warranty repairs (which was 2 1/2 hours away) The Parris RV manager said there was no where closer that would be authorized. A few months later we had to take the trailer back to Elkhart, IN because the door was malfunctioning again, we had a leak under our bathroom sink which was coming from the shower and flooded the bathroom cabinet, trim work that was coming apart. Jim at Cruiser RV said "The main door wasn't even the right one so we had to put a new door in it." Forward again, cross county trip to Alaska. Getting ready in March the RV center doing our maintenance in Michigan told us we had a weld broke on a spring hanger. We were beyond the manufacturer warranty so a claim was filed in the extended warranty which was paid -BUT WAIT... less than a month later, in MS another weld broke (different spot) and the claim was paid. Two weeks later (April 30) the frame started giving away, tearing and breaking around/near those welds. (Yes cheap metal!) leaving us unable to move any further! Bottom line: claim DENIED! I was told by Assurant (extended warranty administrators) that the service manager at Parris RV claims it's not a covered component! (Even though they had paid the previous two claims for the same thing-only this time it was a more costly severe problem.) Please save your money and don't buy an inferior product from Parris RV. After you sign and pay: they will just say "we don't make them, we just sell them" Don't buy an extended warranty because I asked what was covered when I purchased it. I was told an exclusionary policy covered everything except annual maintenance items, brakes, and tires. Now the Service Manager-Curtis is saying it doesn't cover anything structural!!! The front metal cap piece where the front and side meet is also peeling up and my husband was told that's not covered either because it's structural! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE-FAR AWAY!!! read more

My trailer is in need of Warranty work again. While understand that these are manufacturing issues and not necessarily Parris RV issues they do the warranty work. They scheduled me about 4 months out and then when it came time for my appointment they called and rescheduled me for another 3 months out. I get it things happen. Well.... I needed some more work done that were not able to get to on the first go around. They again scheduled me out for 4 months and again they called and cancelled and reached me for an additional three months. They have successfully got me scheduled right out of my warranty and was only able to use my very expensive trailer from them 2 times. Customer service is what makes companies good or bad. And in this regard Parris RV had failed. read more

there is a lot to be said here, but I will try to be brief. Pictures attached will help. Bought brand new 2021 toy hauler trailer sight unseen over internet from Washington state in Janurary of this year. Sales person Jeff and paperwork was above average, but that is where it stops. Paid over a $1000 to have trailer shipped to Arizona. Paid additional $1500 for solar and battery upgrade. Trailer was shipped January 25th with propane on and refrigerator on at below freezing temps. Norcold propane model N8. Not good! I set trailer up in KOA with 30 amp service to shake out the bugs, and it is a good thing we did. Fridge wouldn't work no matter what I tried. I called Parris south and talked to I believe Kevin, supposedly head of service. He said he did not know what was wrong, but would reach out to Norcold for tech support and get back to me. Also, was having problems with solar charge. He said he would have his installer reach out. Waited over a week with no call back for either issue. called to complain after three weeks, and got passed around to service south again. He said he did not remember me and that he mentioned I had the trailer shipped back in Jaurary. In the next sentence he told me that I would have to bring the trailer in... conveinient? I got fridge to start working if I unplugged 110 volt, the propane would start right up? I called Norcold myself and explained. They sent me part to fix priority at no charge. The list of problems goes on. We spent five days cleaning trailer of metal shavings and adhesive. If you have children or small pets, this is a must. I have resealed shower four times to stop leaks. I would recommend changing shower base, because it is cheap plastic and flimsy. If you are pretty handy, Home Depot carries a base that is fiberglass. You will have to install a riser for venting heat ducts. There are other items, but enough said. bottom line. I would never recommend dealing with Parris RV to anyone for any reason! Beware if buying from out of state. We bought a 5th wheel from the Payson location. They took over a month to process the documents and send them to our DMV. So, we got to pay $625 in late penalties to the DMV in order to get it registered. Called Parris and they said they don't have time to look up the time requirements for each state. They said the best they would do is split the cost with us, so, we get to pay $312.50 because they take a month to process paperwork. read more

Whatever you do, do not buy a trailer from Parris RV! They are dishonest and just want to make a quick buck! They will tell you whatever you want to hear. They know nothing about their trailers!We told them we never go to RV parks we dry camp! They told us our current trailer had solar. No solar. We wanted Lion Energy lithium ion batteries and asked what kind they sold they told us lion energy batteries that they worked with them directly we got some Chinese knock offs. Those are just a few of the things they said. They know nothing about their trailers! They sell you trailers that the fridges don't work in elevations above 5500 feet! Which is most of Utah people! True fact! Told to us by one of their technicians and the manager this last week and that it should have a conversion kit and that every trailer they send out west has a conversion kit because of our elevations. Well this one doesn't! They don't make it for this fridge. There is a hole somewhere in the trailer causing a tornado of dust inside every time we take it out. Inside cabinets, walls, floors covered in at least an inch of dust every time! Broken speakers, panels falling off walls, gas that spews back out at you when you try and fill up the tanks, shower surround that won't stay on the wall that they just keep gluing and it pops right off and the nature of a bathroom and shower is moisture and will eventually mold behind the popped off surround and they refuse to fix it properly, outlets with no backing, the kitchen sink has nasty goo that gets on everything and that is just the start of it! The service techs try to scare you out of getting your things fixed by saying they are going to charge you a service fee if they don't find anything wrong with it when in all reality they aren't well trained in what they do! They want you to drop off your trailer at certain times and pick it up before all of your fixes are even complete and say that they need to be approved when you sent in a list a year ago and those things still haven't been fixed! Our trailer has been in more times then it should've been. We've had to cancel trips. Or when we have gone on trips something has broke. Not to mention every single time we've had fridge issues. We bought a brand new trailer! Something should not be breaking on a new trailer every single time you take it out! The original list was a page long of things that needed to be fixed! The quality of this trailer is definitely not worth the price we are paying! It is a hunk of junk! Parris say they will call you back and they don't! Managers swear at you and call you names! Tell you it's your fault. The first trailer we bought from them last March was a lemon trailer and they purchased it back from us as long as we bought another one from them.
