This review is long over due. I have a modular home in the town of La Grange Ca. & if anyone knows about modular homes they could be a HUGE mystery. They reprioritized some other work and dispatched Josh who arrived in less than two hours and compleated the underground valve replacement in about two hours. We had a snag in installing a new bathroom faucet last night. I called Parrot plumbing about 6:30pm and talked to Milt....he apologized for not being able to get here last night, I really would have been surprised to get someone last night! But Joshua came out first thing this morning and did an awesome job. He not only repaired the pipe but completed the installation and fixed a problem with the sink that we didn't know was a problem!!! Great guy....we will only call them from now on!! Look, this man raises and cares for some of the crankiest birds alive, parrots. So, if these persnickety feathered critters trust him, so can you. Seriously, Milt Lake and his work partner, Scott, have completed all types of plumbing jobs for me, including everything from cosmetic fixture change outs to serious plumbing retrofits. Look up "integrity" in the dictionary, and you will find this man's photo. I unhesitatingly recommend this personable and skilled gentleman. He's "old school": he aims to do things right the first time. On one of the jobs, he would not accept payment until I "lived with it" for a few days. Parrot Plumbing is a life savor. Our vacation home had the main plumbing line back up on new years eve right before we were going to leave town to head home. Parrot Plumbing was the only plumber who was willing to come look at the issue. We got to our vacation / rental house on a Friday night and found there was no hot water -- tank had rusted through and was leaking. I spent the weekend trying to deal with the home warranty company (American Home Shield which was an absolute disaster, but that is the subject of another review for another time). They finally told me I could hire an outside plumber (of course they are now declining to pay for it but that is not the plumber's fault). They came by the same day to give me an estimate either to replace the hot water heater or to upgrade it to a tankless heater. As soon as I gave them the go-ahead they ordered the heater (took a little time as this is a small rural town and their supplier was completely out of stock on anything that ran on propane). We picked a convenient day to meet them back at the house. They came that afternoon on schedule and finished the job as promised the next day. Left the house exactly as they found it (except it had hot water when they left): cleaned up, took the old unit. Couldn't have asked for any more from them. read more
