They were cherished family members for over 12 years . The time had come that their bodies were failing and their quality of life was diminishing . To do the companionate thing was to put them down at home . It was their domain all their lives . They were surround by their family when it was time to send them home to God . Paws Forever was very helpful with all ours questions . Christine was very helpful and compaionate . Dr Holmsted was the vet who put them down. He explained everything , answered questions , was sympathetic to all our needs , and really cared for us and our babies. I can't say enough about the both of them .....they were great and Nani and Mufasa were fortunate to have them . After they were put down , we had them creamated at Paw Prints Forever. They could work on responding a little bit faster to emails, but when they do, they are very helpful and provided us with the information we needed. We had asked for a small box with a brass plaque for the ashes of our cat. The box was lovely as was the plaque. Everything was done with kindness and attention to detail. These are good people, and you can trust them.

My elderly dog was failing and I had to put her down. I wasn't sure if this was taking place until…read morelater in the week when I made my final decision and made arrangements for my vet to come to my house. I asked her advice on cremation services because it is February and the ground is frozen. She highly recommended Royal Pet. I called them to explain my situation and I spoke with both Earl and Kathy (the owners). They were extremely professional, patient, and kind answering all of my questions because I was clueless on the process. We made the arrangements and I traveled with my dog to Wilmington. I wanted a private cremation. Earl met us there and took care of everything. I was impressed with how clean and professional the building was. I felt like I was in a scaled down, simpler funeral home for pets. Earl was very helpful and understanding of my "state". I wasn't quite with it. I felt very comfortable hearing how they came to be in this business, going through the ugly, dark process themselves when they lost a beloved animal. They saw a need for a respectful and ethical option. That is truly what they have created with this business. You can just immediately feel that they are going to treat you and your animal's "remains" respectfully. I cannot believe there are no other reviews for this place on here already. If you have the misfortune of needing this type of service, I cannot recommend them highly enough. They made such a dark day in my life a bit easier to deal with.

They promised same day service and I paid for it but early afternoon when I called for pick up-they said they were closed and wouldn't be available. When they finally made time to show up, the man Earl was rude. He became defensive and argumentative. He said he was working at his auto shop down the street and acted as if my pets cremation was an inconvenience for him. I didn't feel comfortable around him. I was devastated and upset but that doesn't give them the right to take advantage of the situation. I noticed that this man and woman actually had an old car and "racing fuel" sitting literally right beside the cremation machine. This can't be safe and I wish I would of never met these individuals. I was trying to cope and deal with a heartbreaking situation- they gave my family and I unnecessary stress and frustration. I miss my buddy every day and every day I can't wait for them to get the Karma they deserve. The county stated they didn't have a valid licence and the facility was not up to code.

I attended a funeral for a friend's dad. The staff members were professional and nice. They seemed…read moregenuine and not "fake" with empathy that doesn't work well when funeral homes don't have staff that "gets" it. The employees were almost invisible. They did a great job of being nearby, but not intrusive. We were given tags for the rear view mirror since we were also visiting the cemetery. Those driving behind the hearse were instructed to put on blinkers. We were directed to park separately, as soon as we arrived at the funeral home. It made the funeral procession organized and efficient when it was time to leave. My friend worked with the funeral home on a nice photo collage that kept playing during visitation and the funeral. There were approximately 175 pictures and the name of the person being celebrated. Having tissues and breath mints was a nice touch. I hope no one needs to use this business but if you do, you will be taken care of.

I wanted to take a moment to share a review for Holloway Pet Cremation Services in Salisbury…read more Unfortunately our cat Cali passed away last week. Some will not understand this but she was like a child to us and we were devastated. Holloway understood and treated us and her with a level of respect and professionalism that blew us away. From taking my phone call at 630am (they have a 24 hour line) to having her ready and given back to me with so much care and compassion, I cannot recommend them enough if you have a need for their services.
