We were all craving steaks. Ordered 3 Bone-In Steaks, one cooked Medium... the other two for Medium Rare. When we got our steaks, they were all way undercooked.... raw. One of the steaks was still cold in the center, there's no way anyone would've eaten it that way. We did ask our server to take it them back to cook it a little more, but mine (the medium) was still very raw looking. Our appetizers were decent, The Rockefeller Oysters were savory. Sweet potato fries were crispy and yummy. We hade the Parthenon dip with pita for appetizer. Lamb chops with taziki sauce and chicken Corinthia as entrees. The lamb was tender and very flavorful. The side of garlic mashed potatoes was excellent. The chicken Corinthia was creamy goodness with spinach, artichoke, and asparagus artfully mixed in with a perfectly cooked pasta. Wonderful environment, with calm ambience. Christian was our very knowledgeable and enthusiastic waiter. He was able to recommend pairings for our meals. We did not feel rushed. One of my favorite places to come to in Mboro. They have great deals for happy hour. The staff is very friendly. I love their food. On wednesdays, it's $6 apps. Happy hour is also a certain time so you get discounted alcoholic beverages. They have different deals on different days. I really like coming here when I crave raw oysters. Our waitress was wonderful, but that was the only positive about our experience. We ordered the Parthenon Dip as our appetizer and it honestly just tasted like marinara with a lot of cheese added. The fried pita was ok. For my entree, I ordered a New York Strip with Oil and Garlic Pasta. The steak honestly tasted like a pork chop. I had never tasted a steak that bad in my life. My mom tasted it as well and also agreed it tasted just like a park chop, not a steak. The Oil and Garlic pasta was just plain pasta- no garlic at all. We ordered take out dinner online. The website and menu was easy to navigate. Our order was ready on time and the staff brought it out to our car. By the time we arrived home with our food it was still warm. We ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was 4 large pieces perfectly breaded on top of delicious pasta. The pasta was perfectly seasoned. The pasta could be a meal itself. Our order came with a large pan of salad which was easily enough for 5 folks. The salad ingredients were fresh and very tasty. This place had an interesting twist on Greek food. While I was expecting a certain flavor I've had at other Greek restaurants, the food was still good. My husband had a steak with rice which he enjoyed. I had a dish that I wanted to call "gyro tacos" even though that's not what the menu called it. I will say I was disappointed with the hummus as it wasn't what I was expecting, but the overall atmosphere and experience was good. As a server in a fine dining establishment (Sullivan's steakhouse) I would NEVER approach someone based off phone calls, or for any reason other than those presented to me in person and JUDGE SOMEONE as to kick them out. This establishment has a manager that told someone to GET THE F OUT while they were eating and had money on the table. Customer also showed her cash app account showing she had money. The manager and coworker were rude as could be I would never come here solely based off of that. You cannot approach someone like that! Nor can you ask them how much money they have. We were in town to visit MTSU and we were welcomed by the hostess. It was mid afternoon but still had several dining in at the time. I will say I was NOT impressed with the location. It sits in a location where Parthenon Grille seems to be a bit more upscale than other businesses around. Anywho, we were welcomed, seated and given menus. The waitress came over shortly after and was very friendly. We said we were in town to take a college tour and she shared in our excitement briefly. My husband was starving so he ordered the Oyster Rockefeller. He was pleased with it. For an entree, he ordered the lamb burger which he enjoyed also. I ordered the salmon Greek salad and our daughter had the chicken fingers with fries. The food was good. I loved the salmon over the salad. Ok, let me first start out by saying it was Sunday after church and on Mother's Day so I understand the reason it was so busy. However, it took us 20 minutes to get our table after having a reservation and also took us well over an hour to get our food, which unfortunately was subpar. I ordered the steak and eggs and my steak was well done even after I ordered it cooked medium. The steak reminded me of something that would have been prepackaged and frozen. The eggs and home fries were very good and cooked with the appropriate amount of seasoning. Our server was kind and kept our drinks refilled, however he did not apologize nor recognize how long it took for our food. I was in Murfreesboro for the night to see a concert. My wife and I love Greek food and this restaurant may say it is Greek but is far from it. Each main entree I asked for they where out of so I opted for the steak which I asked for medium well-done. Food comes out and the steak is over cooked, dry, and resembles a hockey puck. The green beans where overly spiced with pepper. I also asked for the beer battered french fries which seemed store bought. I got it, Greek food has flavour, but this was not close to Greek food at all. The only thing that was good about the experience was the service.... Today we had our Friday lunch at the Parthenon Grille in Murfreesboro. Let me start by saying we eat there often, and the food & drinks are usually good. We first ordered the house Chardonnay, which came out of a box. Shame on us...it tasted awful, and when the bartender checked it, she found that the box had a expiration date of 12/22. Looks like someone is not rotating the inventory. My wife changed to a Cosmopolitan, which tasted like cough yrup. I ordered a slightly dirty martini, which came back as a filthy martini. While making my cocktail. The bartender got distracted, and didn't shake my...again shame on me for not saying something. My wife ordered Beef Stroganoff, which tasted like the meat was liver...hmm On the good side of things, my Lamb burger tasted good. Time for the bill. Typically we get that Cosmopolitans go anywhere from $10 - $14 dollars. So a little surprised to see it for $ 9.50, but with a $2 up charge. When I asked what was the $2 fee for, I was told that it was for the extra ingredients in the Cosmo. The same occurred with my not so slightly dirty martini...$9.50 for the vodka, and a $1 up charge for the olive juice. Why not just charge $11.50 & $10.50 for the drinks? It would make it easier to swallow the cough syrup Cosmo, and filthy (not slightly) dirty martini. We didn't want to call our bartender/server, on these issues as we could see that she was the only bartender/server for the restaurant, so we could see that she had a lot going on. We could see that she was stretched thin for attentiveness. We will try again because of the good food and service we have had in the past. read more

I wish I had this place back home. It would be my date night of choice! I ate here after a log day of driving and had the chicken with stuffed spinach and cheese, shrimp and pasta...
