Kate was really easy to work with. I booked for for my daughters 9th birthday party. I was able to communicate with her and book easily via text. I paid through venmo which was quick and easy. She also accepts Zelle. She was clear on expectations, got back to me quickly, and was extremely professional before and during the party. She did a beautiful job. The kids absolutely loved it. The best was one of the girls who asked for a cat face. She was professional and calm and kind. The best part was honestly how easily the make up came off with water. I am used to having to deal with make up for my daughters dance performances and it is SO hard to clean off and this was surprisingly easy. After initially wiping with water most of it came off but I still used olive oil and followed by micellar cleansing water because my daughters skin is sensitive to make up, and I wanted it all off. I was able to select from a variety of options for my daughter's party (face paint, glitter bar, bubble braids) with options to double up and also have multiple artists for an extra fee. We decided on a glitter bar and bubble braids for our party. Tanya - our artist, arrived early and set up an incredible display of options. She was professional, kind, and went above and beyond for each girl. Tanya provided an experience we will never forget. It was such a hit that the following day, almost all 12 girls from the party had their bubble braids in at school (they are simply attached to a hair tie and can be reused). I stumbled across Kate thanks to Yelp and I'm so happy I did! I wanted a specific face paint look based on the more modern Mileena look. Mileena is a character in Mortal Kombat that is known for her insane monster teeth/jaw. In the older games she has a wide gaping jaw whereas the version I wanted had the monster jaws placed alongside the lips. I sent Kate a photo and she was really responsive and very flexible on timing. What I loved is that she was very accessible. In addition my final look was AMAZING!
