If I can give this company 10 stars, I would! They are that great! We originally booked entertainment and games for a indoor carnival theme birthday party for April 2020 but then the pandemic hit and we had to postpone our party till this past April but the party had to take a different approach. Howell was fantastic in assisting us adjust our order and lived up to a great expectation. We rented a bouncy type house and we had it way over the allotted amount of time which everyone loved, we had Cookie Monster come and sing and then after, the women did balloon animals which everyone loved. The only thing that they need to work on is the music cause the boom box is low but I'm sure it's hard to change the song on a smartphone when In costume. We had such a great time for my son's first birthday! Rick was our bubble master and he put on the best bubble show! When I heard the price of this bubble show, I was a little hesitant. I've never seen one, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, everyone was so blown away, it was absolutely the talk of the party among both the kids and the adults! Rick came on time and was great at a quick indoor set up and clean up. He was so fun with the kids and engaged even the most shy children. He was fun, energetic, and kind. My son is a little too young to really know what's going on, but our other guests were simply amazed. Sticky bubbles, huge bubbles, snow bubbles, smoky bubbles, it was all there! I didn't even know there were so many kinds of bubbles. After the show, many people went on the compliment how great it was and asked for cards to be in touch for their own future events. (There was about 5 children). The owner was standing behind her which was probably intimidating to the performer hence the quality. I asked them to stop and just do face painting and tattoos at that point. The "gift" for the birthday child is a 99 cent plush toy and dum dum lollipops for the rest. Also having us fill out a form rating their service while the employee is standing behind you is uncomfortable. 2 stars because the idea of it was cute but can definitely find better quality elsewhere. read more

The owner is great and responsive. I hired Hello Kitty for daughters 1st birthday/christening. The entertainer was good but entered the party with a black trash bag and tiny boom box. I was told by a friend about Parties for Peanuts. We wanted an entertainer to entertain around 30-35 kids in our babies birthday party, ages 2-7 years. So we asked for a character of Coco melon JJ from Howell, the owner of the company. And he was happy to help and suggested that he can offer meet and greet with the character JJ, fun games with him plus balloon animals for all kids at the party. And the JJ character was a hit. All the kids enjoyed so much. They were so much engaged with JJ that their parents were happy too. And the same person after changing to normal clothes, very patiently made balloon animals for all kids in the party. We were very satisfied with their services. We hired what was supposed to be Isabella from Encanto from them for my daughter's party. The person they sent looked nothing like Isabella and we had to whisper to all the kids who she was supposed to be. She played two games with them, gave them a lollipop and left. When we called to inquire why they sent us a person who looked nothing like the character and why she didn't do anything more than play two games, we were told they've never had a complaint about her before. I recently used party for peanuts for my daughters 2nd birthday. This would be the 4th time I used this type of service and out of all companies I rank them as the lowest. Their tattoos are cheap, you get from the dollar store and the face painting was below average. Something my 5 yr old could have done. The " gift" for my daughter the birthday girl was a cheap pack of chalk! All the balloon animals popped within 5 min of making. Like I said in the beginning, this is my 4th time using this type of company for kids party entertainment but my first and last time using Parties for Peanuts. It was very easy setting up the date and time and making payment. However, we just had my children's birthday party over the weekend and I just wanted to give you a quick review of the magician we had. He arrived over 15 minutes late. He called at 11am which was his scheduled start time to tell me he couldn't find his way. Once he arrived, he was off to a great start, the kids liked his balloon antics and were laughing so much. Then, he realized he left something in the car and ran back to his car to get whatever it was which kind of ruined the flow. Also, was the rabbit supposed to be part of the magic show? Because he had it in the pet carrier and took it out at the very end of the show for a minute for the kids to look at. He only did 3 tricks in 35 minutes?: the coloring book, the bunny in the rocket ship, and the fire in a bowl with lollipops. He provided lollipops and balloons for all the children but did not give out tattoos or my two birthday children gifts as stated in the contract. As soon as I spoke to Howell, I knew that their services were far better than another company I had dealt with. He was honest, fair and very organized. I felt like it could have been longer since the face painting was far from professional. The Olaf part was great! This review is not a reflection on the character. We were having a Monster theme party for my sons 1st birthday and Mr. Howell (owner/manager) had the perfect "Blue Monster" from MU. Paul arrived on time and did a great character performance. Five star across the board. I called Howell at the 11th hour before my grandson's 2nd birthday looking for an "Elmo" and he came through beautifully. Booking was easy and efficient and Howell is the epitome of professionalism. But let's talk about the mascot, Elmo - aka big red furry monster. The entertainer, Joseph, was top notch. In 90 degree weather (party was outside), Joseph didn't flinch and performed perfectly. In fact, Joseph SOUNDED so much like Elmo from Sesame Street that it was as if the character was really there.
