He was really great & friendly. He also was very knowledgeable about Paso Robles and answered every question that we had. There were 10 of us and we can be a little too much, but Chris was super patient with us. He went out of his way to go back to the last winery when one of the girls left her phone at there. Really appreciate him going the extra mile. The bride to be was also very happy with how everything turned out! For anyone looking to do a wine tour in Paso Robles, we highly recommend this place. If you could, also recommend Chris! He was amazing & more! Chris - thank you so much for putting up with us! We really appreciate your service today!

He worked with all my questions and gave a ton of recommendations based off what I was looking for. He gave great options for food and made all the reservations needed for the day. We were lucky enough to have Jed as our guide for the day. Pick up was on time and we went rolling on. He got us checked into the wineries and made sure we were settled and checked back to make sure we were on schedule. He was easy going even when we decided to cut the tour one winery short and grab coffee instead. He even called to cancel the reservation- super planned and thoughtful Would definitely book with Jed again if in the area.

A Photographer's Dream Venue - Greengate Ranch…read more Greengate Ranch is, without a doubt, one of my favorite wedding venues to photograph. This stunning property offers endless possibilities for couples to create a wedding that feels uniquely theirs. Whether exchanging vows behind the charming ranch house, beneath the sprawling tree by the barn, or at the iconic pond, every ceremony location is breathtaking. And with the addition of a gorgeous all-white indoor space alongside the rustic barn, receptions here are nothing short of magical. For photography, Greengate Ranch is an absolute dream. From the rolling vineyards to the serene pond, every backdrop is a masterpiece waiting to be captured. The views from the backyard of the vineyard cottage are nothing short of spectacular, and I especially love taking couples out into the middle of the vineyards for those sweeping shots that truly showcase the beauty of the property. Every inch of this venue is thoughtfully designed and incredibly picturesque--making it a joy to photograph every single time.

My wife's family lives in Idaho so having all the homes on site was amazing. We spent most the time at the pool with friends and family. The wedding day was amazing down by the pond and the reception in the barn. This wedding venue is hands down the best I've ever seen! Truly amazing.

They take excellent care of the horses. Not only in the barn, but when we are on the road, and at shows. Susie and Tony have set up a great team of people around them over the last thirty plus years. Drake Farms consists of a transportation,…read moreArabian show barn, breeding and boarding business - all located on one plot of land near the airport and managed by matriarch Susan. With reference to horse boarding, surprises included but weren't limited to - bait and switch board pricing as in $350 board ballooned by $200 citing the stalls quoted not available, no boarding agreement - a big advantage for the manager, notice given a short time before a 27 hour non-stop haul that everyone, except the stall cleaner, would be at a horse show. For those not familiar with long haul horse transport, plans are made many weeks in advance, carefully planned and locked-in due to high demand. For those not familiar with the stress horses endure on trailer hauls, essentially, horses must balance constantly; so, a 27 hour haul equates to a 27 hours of trotting. Very worrisome considering the haul occurred in mid-summer heat. Texas heat withering. While Susan called the Spanish-speaking only helper to check on the horses when they arrived, it shows a lack of empathy, respect for my stressed horses and my anxiety, as in nightmares and migraines ensued. Signs of colic and dehydration from a long haul require an onsite inspection by a horse savvy someone - gut sounds must be checked in addition to a check of gums and neck for problems. By the way, horse show participation requires dealing with entry deadlines, stall reservations and fees paid weeks in advance, very rarely a successful impromptu action. Finally, when I decided to leave, I asked again about the boarding agreement to exit easily. When I heard once again that no agreement was in place, I told her that I'd like to leave early and receive a check for the unused board. She agreed, but later told me she decided otherwise and wanted 30 days notice. Irresponsible? In my opinion, yes! Unprofessional? In my opinion, yes! Unethical? In my opinion, yes! Hard-hearted? In my opinion, yes! As someone who managed a horse boarding facility for a decade, as someone who has owned and has shown horses for over 30 years, I couldn't leave fast enough. In my opinion, steer clear.
