She was on time, but also flexible when she needed to be. She had to navigate Highway 41, a notoriously treacherous stretch of road with 15 MPH hairpin turns. My 85 year old mother, not one to randomly shower praise, said, "Taffy was outstanding. Friendly and concerned about our comfort, helping us get on the shuttle and offering us cold water. Best part, she made the ride very comfortable. She was very cautious and reduced speed considerably on the windy parts of the road - we did not feel like we had to hang on to something keep from slipping around in our seats. If you ever need to hire a shuttle again, I would request Taffy as the driver." I only wish my mother spoke as highly of me. At first I was a little nervous but our "chauffeur" Matias made me feel really comfortable and we had the best time. All the cool places he took us and all the knowledge he had about the different locations were amazing. I learned so much about the area I had been coming to since the 70's! We had a blast waving to everyone we saw along the way. You just can't help but wave and talk to people when you're in this awesome sidecar motorcycle. Most people smiled and waved back at us. So much fun. The only thing I would change is, Matias is such a great photographer and took some amazing pictures but we never got a picture of the three of us, bummer. I was able to do it all via my cell phone. He allowed us to decorate the bus the morning of our reservation. Bethanie arrived promptly the day of the event. She was very helpful and even played along when we blocked his driveway. He thought he was driving to his party. lol It was hysterical he finally realized she was there to suggest him & pick him up. When he got inside we all yelled surprise!! We had a blast! She drove 11 of us from Los Osos to for our dinner reservation at The Maverick Saloon. It is a legendary, rustic honky-tonk and bar on Sagunto Street in Santa Ynez. Then she safely returned us home. Worth every penny & dollar!!!!!
