I was a patient over the summer after a recommendation from someone who had been to this location after dealing with an acute injury. I have been dealing with low back pain for many years. Occasionally I flare where I cannot do much for myself for days. Most days I hover between a 3 and 7 on my personal pain scale but still have to maintain a job, my home and life with children. I truly only went to PT because I had hit my insurance deductible for the year expecting the same PT that I had done in years past - a rote set of exercises that didn't consider the whole person. They began by getting to know me. Asking about my current state and recent history but also the more distant history of my injury and other personal factors. They asked what I wanted to accomplish. I do not work in a role where I needed to accomplish certain metrics before returning to work but I know that they would work to rehab you safely and get you back to work. They were very clear with instruction on how to do each exercise safely. I was challenged on the days I was feeling strong and given the opportunity to take it easier on the days where I was not feeling my best. It was an absolute pleasure to watch all members of the staff interact, they all get on so well it makes you happy to be there. They also always engaged their clients in their conversations. I appreciated how they interacted with their patients across all ages - school aged to persons who are blessed to be retirement age plus. It felt so natural.
