I accompanied a close friend to her appointment. There was a handicap ramp to the door and I appreciated that greatly as I am currently using a walker. Yesterday, we showed up early for our appointment. We were greeted by Leslie M., Bridal Consultant. She is very kind (and got used to my fidgety ADHD wandering quite quickly). I was extremely impressed that Leslie showed many ways my friend could have more coverage on her back if she decided to. It was so much fun. By 4:45 my friend said "yes to the dress." She even went out of her way to schedule the visit over a holiday break, knowing I wasn't living in the area. During the appointment, Leslie listened to my preferences and pulled a variety of dresses that matched my vision. She never pressured me to commit and encouraged me to take plenty of photos. The first dress I tried on ended up being "the one," but I didn't commit right away. I was upfront about having another appointment at a different boutique the next day, and Leslie was completely understanding. When I called back the following day to confirm my decision, she was just as supportive as she had been in person. Several months later, when it was time to pick up the dress, Leslie went above and beyond again. I had reached out to ask if the dress might arrive in time for a spring vacation when I'd be in the area. She personally paid for express shipping and even opened the store on her day off so I could try it on. While I was there, she also found a veil that matched my dress perfectly and arranged to order it for me. I have absolutely no complaints about the entire process. We arrived right on time and were the only people in the store. We were brought in the back dressing area. Rosemary was so sweet and helpful. She showed me what area had my dress sizes. I picked a few dresses & started trying them on. Rosemary picked out a few as we were progressing. Very relaxing, low stress experience. I found my wedding dress! The store is special because you take the dress home from the rack. This is great when the dress is your size and style. Highly recommend coming here once you've tried other bridal stores. I knew I was gonna go to other boutiques after, but I wanted to try on different styles and silhouettes so I had a better understanding of what I wanted moving forward. I assumed David's would have all styles and silhouettes (they sort of do, but the stylist wasn't pulling dresses in all silhouette like I asked.) The associates are nice enough, they have a good amount of dresses, but all of the dresses they have are very cookie cutter. Everyone has mixed experiences here, but in my experience it's just for exploring the different styles of dresses. It's also incredibly hot in there, and they make you wear a slip underneath all of the dresses. I recommend bringing water and even a hand fan if you're going while it's higher than 50° outside.
