Wow! This is a little gem and worth the drive off the interstate. Don't let the outside of the place fool you. It's bright and clean inside with modern touches like glass tile accents. But don't go for the interior, go for the amazing food! We stopped on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. They seated us right away and we had our soup with in 5 minutes of ordering. I had egg drop and hubby had hot and sour. They are served hot and perfectly seasoned. Just what you expect . But the egg drop was served with a crispy noodle-like a chow mein noodle. Added some delightful crunch. I had sesame chicken and husband has Mongolian beef. Each meal was served with a crab Rangoon, an egg roll, and choice of rice. Both meals were delicious. The chicken was large chunks of white meat chicken breaded, fried then coated with a delicious sweet and savory thick sauce. So good. The beef dish was just as good - tender strips of beef and lots of sautéed onions. Plus the meals were reasonably priced! They have several options on their lunch menu that were under $12 per person. I was so happy to find a good Cantonese restaurant nearby. And by nearby I mean 40 miles because there aren't many good places where we live. We moved to the NE Panhandle from California less than a year ago and this food tastes better than other restaurants back home. The service was friendly and fast and the food tasted hot and fresh. Although the server said the restaurant has been there for over 25 years, it didn't smell like an old restaurant. There was no carpet, the floors and seats were clean. The ambience is quiet but we went during lunch on a Saturday so I'm not sure how it gets at dinner time. They have a great lunch special that comes with egg drop soup, a Rangoon and egg roll aside from your main dish. We ordered the chicken curry, tofu veggie and the cashew chicken plates. All was good and we had plenty to eat for lunch the following day. Well worth the drive. I definitely recommend it. read more

Stopped here for dinner during our road trip, heading to Colorado Springs after visiting Mt Rushmore, and was very pleased with the experience. The service and food were amazing! Ordered some general Tso chicken and into my 2nd bite of chicken it was like rubber and cold in my mouth I instantly spit it out to see the chicken was pink and raw, I really regret not taking a picture of it but I took the food down to the restaurant and asked politely for a refund and stated that I didn't want a remake as my appetite wasn't the same. An older man not behind the counter said "it is not raw it is tender" in a very cocky attitude and told me no to the refund. I showed him the pink chicken and right to my face he said it was "tender" . Same reason I haven't ate here in months was because of undercooked chicken, I give another chance and completely RAW and COLD chicken.... 7 minutes for a takeout order was suspicious anyway, especially when I show up in 5 and the food was already done, and restaurant was empty, this food is either not made to order or rushed when it is! read more

I was traveling solo and arrived in Sterling, CO after a 7 hour drive. Tired from my drive, I was just looking for a moderately priced Chinese food place, hoping the food would at least be tolerable. I had a great surprise coming to me. I got the Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce, with Veggie Fried Rice and it was Great! The portions were large and very flavorful. the portion sizes are huge and their moderately priced menu has a great selection. you have to call to place a delivery order but the lady on the phone was very sweet and the delivery time was super quick; they even brought it up to my hotel room and handed it to me! a great choice for the hungry traveler. read more

Great place to get Chinese food in the NE corner of Colorado. Definitely worth the travel off of I76. You can get the food to go quickly. About the time it takes you to get from the interstate the food will be ready. I usually go with sweat and sour chicken, very good. Crab ragoon, also very tasty and the egg drop soup is good as well. I need to try some other food but I go with what I like and what is good. Also it's in a strip mall but it is easy to find because of all the cars parked out front of it. read more

Went to give them a second chance because working in a small town and staying in a hotel you don't want to eat the same every night. I ordered Togo and they didn't give me a napkin or a fork.. or a spoon for my soup... the fried rice has no vegetables in it.. sad day.. sad day wonderful house. Worst Chinese place imaginable. Be very careful what you order because here they may have a different way of cooking it all together. Out of all the Chinese restaurants I have been to, this is the first place that makes menu items different than anywhere else. Teriyaki chicken failed in every way possible. Well kept, nice ambiance & clean, excellent service and WONDERFUL food!!! Food came out fast but this certainly didn't detract from the quality.
