Whenever I go to the service department at the car dealership and they give me a list of "recommendations", I politely tell them, "just the oil change please" and then I go to Savco to see what I can save. I know that Mike and his team will tell me the real deal about my car and not try to just make a buck. I truly appreciate that. The level of customer service and care that they show their customers is unmatched in car repair shops. Whenever I go, people walk in and say "hey Mike" and he greets them with a smile. If your car is in need of some TLC, take your baby to Savco. You won't get any coffee or snacks. You won't get a complimentary car wash. But you'll get your car serviced professionally at a very reasonable price.

The excuse? They "rounded," used a 21-day payoff instead of the standard 15, and passed on loan company fees to the seller. None of this was disclosed up front. Also, their hours are listed wrong--they close at 7, not the time posted online or on the door. I found that out the hard way. Bottom line: Do your own math, double-check everything, and be ready to call out the BS (not Gus--he's solid). Personally, I'd recommend going across the street to from carmax instead.
