He was completely professional, worked the entire party keeping things tidy (we invited him to help himself to some food during meal time), served drinks, did basic food prep and cleanup. Absolutely amazing service - before and during the event. We contacted Steve to hire a bar person for a party we were having. We hadn't done this before so weren't sure what to expect and it's safe to say it more than exceeded our expectations. It was such a treat for both us and our guests. First of all, Karen was lovely. Worst experience for a party helper. Used him for my wedding and the bartender I hired from him never showed up at event. None of the drinks were chilled even thought the chilling tubs and ice were there for them to use. Instead, they kept it in the kitchen and was interrupting the chef all night. We have hosted our Annual Christmas Party for many years. For the last few years, we have used the Party Butler and I can't praise them enough. Our party averages around 80 people and my wife cooks a full Turkey dinner. After that's done, the Party Butlers do the rest. Amazing service! Hired Steve for a 50th birthday dinner party for 9 in playa del rey on 10/7/20. He showed up COVID compliant (mask), and ready to work! Steve helped serve each guest family style food, and kept each guest's glass full of their favorite cocktail, wine, and/or water at all times. He also cleared the table of plates after each guest was done eating, and washed all the dinnerware. I hired a chef and Steve partnered with him to bring each course to the table for presentation and helped to light candles on the cake. I made a shopping list with three stops. Steve forgot 1 of the 3 stops all together. Steve did not understand the directions on quantities costing me over $150 in goods purchased that I did not need. When I called Steve right after he left to let him he did not stop at Costco and I still needed the items on the list, he simply said oh shit I forgot and was unwilling to go back and get the requested items.
