Sadly this place has really gone down hill. The store is dirty and the shelves not stocked like they use to be. I used the bathroom for the first time and it was disgusting with a big pile in the corner of the toilet from cockroaches. I use to look forward to shopping here when I would visit because they had such a great variety and it was a nice store Abet the help was not too friendly. Now the help is friendly but the store is falling apart. I did t stick around to ask why. This is a chain store and I do not expect to see it still open when I come back next year. But if it is still open I sure hope they clean it up. I don't think the floors have been mopped in ages. read more

I had a last minute idea and was in a rush. I called Party City as I was driving there to see if they would make four number balloons before I got there in 12 minutes. Not only was Alex nice enough to say yes...he offered me color options. I arrived, they were complete, I paid and was out the door in a few short minutes. Mike & Sauce helped at checkout. Two stars only because of the two workers being pleasant despite crummy working conditions. This party city location has gone from sad to pathetic since I've last been here. Store totally unkept and nasty, lights don't work on sign outside, disgusting floors, and things just thrown everywhere. Many open spaces for items and no price tags, you are just left to guess. Candy area in the middle of store looks totally disgusting and unappealing. As if this wasn't enough, they don't even have helium in their store! So when you pay $20 plus for a balloon bouquet, they tell you you can buy a $45 balloon time tank to fill your own! What a joke. Party City always fills balloons with helium included in the price of the balloon bouquet. Apparently not at this location! Then we check out and have our items put into what looks like a garbage bag that is ripping so they put that bag into another garbage bag. The employee named Taffy who checked us out was nice and so was the young man working with her. I felt bad for both. Her name tag was literally a generic name tag with her name written on it in marker. Everything about this location seems to scream that it is dying and it is on its last leg. Do yourself a favor and visit the Pensacola location instead, it's not perfect, but at least they have helium for the balloons!!!! read more

As I walked in the employees greeted me and made me feel welcomed. I went with the idea of buying my son's birthday supplies. Unfortunately, they were out on some few items. One employee suggested other stuff and some balloons. Mylar birthday pack balloons cost 22 dollars. When I went to the register, the lady that helped me out was trying to charge me to blow up my balloons. I told her, that she was wrong that the 22 dollar pack includes inflation. She argued with me and said no! I even showed her a sticker that says "comes with inflation". She did not know what she was doing, she even had to ask another employee for help. I believe she's the GM of the store. I left all my merchandise and walked out. Never have I been so embarrassed and treated like that. I'll let family and friends know about this. read more

I went into this place one, and seemed like a fun place. I saw all these winter hats for like $5 a peace, so I grabbed a ton of them because I liked the characters. The lady behind the desk was like: "That can't be right!" She was referring to the pricing, so I had to wait and wait and wait while she confirmed the pricing, then she reprimanded an employee over the phone for pricing everything that way . .. great . . . I don't care . .. You could've taken care of that one your own. I just wanted to buy them. Next time spare customers your manager-employee drama! read more

Wow. For halloween this really is a one stop shop. Walk towards the back and there is a wall o costumes. Find what you're looking for, tell the lady the #, and it will come out. You can even try before you buy which is something I've never seen before. Plethora of costumes for girls and boys. err... men and women. And SO much cheaper than 3wishes.com or those pop up stores in the mall. They also have tons of accessories, body stockings, wigs, and shoes. !!!!Slootpocolypse!!!! I normally like this store but when I got my sons costume they had a sign for star wars costume and accessories buy 1 get one free. It was not the case the casier said the sale was only for the accessories and not the costume that they had to use the sign from last year. They did not honor there sign and I did not get the accessorie for free dont have a sign posted if you are not going to honor it read more

This store is understaffed, the staff works slowly and mumbles a lot, although was helpful despite all the unneeded busyness. We had to wait over an hour for five balloons to be blown up. Overall not a very good experience. Edit: after an hour of staff telling us that there was extra stock of an item we wanted, they failed to find it and then started telling us there was no extra. So that kinda stinks. read more

Only one cashier was working and even though she was friendly and doing her job, I felt more cashiers were needed due to the long line of customers. I also noticed the manager kept having to come to the front to input discounts, which made the wait even longer since he kept leaving.The store should figure out a faster way of checking out with the discount process. Great place to shop for any party needs. Love coming here for Halloween specifically. They have a great variety of items and are always fully stocked when I'm here. Staff is friendly. My only one negative is pricing. I do think the prices for what you buy is a little bit too expensive for me. But that's just my opinion. read more

I went to the registers to ask for help because I was buying decorating icing but did not see the tips that go on the end. I asked a cashier for help and what appeared to be the manager butted in and told me it's by the icing, instead of showing me where it was at. Then I asked if the plastic tips and metal tips both worked for it and she says "I think so....yes" so I found them on my own and bought metal ones, when I got home and unpackaged it, it did NOT fit at all. I am very upset that her customer service was not very good and on top of that she gave me garbage information. I have two stars because the cashier was very nice. read more

I didn't get the name of the manager or the employee helping me, but service was top notch. He gladly reinflated my balloon and when it turned out it had a pinhole in it, was going to swap it out (without my receipt). Bought a huge balloon for $25 which includes inflation with helium. Day of party, and they are out of helium and their only offer to me was to go buy a tank or pay for it myself somewhere else. What a rip off. Either discount the balloon since you don't actually provide the helium, or don't sell it. So I returned it. I had already returned other decorations and candy because I bought the same or better at WalMart. (E.g.: 3 lbs of pinata candy/toys at walmart is the same price as the party city 2 lb bag...when Party City's is on sale!!!) place is a rip off. Poor customer service.
