Imagine my surprise when I walked in, chose a ready-made Birthday balloon tower & 4 ft birthday cake balloon & got my 9-0 baloons in less than 10 mins! **Warning** do not purchase any holiday items here. They will not tell you when checking out that there is NO way to return your items when the return window has closed. My husband bought a cape there the day after they stopped accepting returns apparently - and I found my cape at home, so he did a u-turn to go return it within 30 minutes of purchase and they wouldn't let him return it. I tried contacting them online but it kept saying no agents available, I called and they told me they would look into it, called again-same thing- fast forward TWO WEEKS and I call again and now I'm told there's NOTHING they can do about it. At least that's what we thought when we headed over, on a search for some rockin' gift bag items to truly say We Built This (Party) City on Rock and Roll. Unfortunately, they didn't really have exactly what we were looking for, even after searching through all the aisles, but we did find a few things that would work instead. A lot of the selection here is geared towards children's parties, with a few costumes, graduation items, wedding, and adult's party items. The seasonal Easter items were pretty cute, with decorations, give aways, candies, and plushes just to name a few items for sale. If you're looking for candy in a specific color, this is a good resource. They had different colors of wrappers for chocolates and candy coated chocolates with matching scoops. I do like how a lot of the sections are separated by color (Even costume supplies) so if you have a certain color theme in mind it will be easy to shop here. We were disappointed in finding that when we went to the Walmart in this same plaza, prices for some of the same items we had bought at Party City were cheaper at the Walmart. However, between our trip here at Party City and Walmart we were able to find enough of what we needed for our gift bags to Get The Party Started! read more

It was a crazy hot Sunday afternoon and I realized I needed some party supplies for Monday... specifically, I was on the hunt for some kind of confetti gun, wand, or popper. I searched this website called Yelp and came across a listing for Party City in Mesa. While Mesa sounds far, far away, I learned that it's only about a fifteen minute drive from Old Town, and Party City is open until 6pm on Sundays... perfect! The parking lot was empty when I arrived but there were a handful of employees working when I walked in the door. And surprisingly, there were extremely helpful. They pointed me in the right direction for the confetti and helped me find a few additional party supplies too. Everything was moderately priced and they had a great selection. RIPP OFF ... I been here 3 times and the first was fine. Second I came for balloon a ear ago when my step mom passed they deflated by the time we arrived in 20 min... now a year later on my step moms bday,,,I made the same mistake. Spent almost 40$ in balloons that I watched deflate in less than 2 hrs while preparing our get together..... I called the store- located off 202 n Dobson rio Salado area, Daniel is the one who took my call to say that they ran out of helium and any other location can help if I had receipt, which if I even wanted too who the hell keeps a ballon receipt? I always forget how much stuff is at party city. From the balloon selection to the party favors and seasonal items and costumes, they have it all. They even have 100 days of school favors and wigs and makeup for elementary kiddos that need to look old. They have lol toys, ty toys and other small popular toys to unwrap too. This is a great place for party decorations, balloons and for my 7yo girl, she'd be happy with gifts from here too. Excellent service.. So corporate decided at the last minute that balloons and ribbons would some how drive business.. okay... Anyways being the corporate mule that I am I oblige and look up my go to place for things of this nature in the past.. Party City. It was a bit of a drive from where I was but hey, I was getting away from work so the further and longer the better. It was blistering hot outside, and when I got there all I wanted was to find what I needed and get out. Luckily the two workers there were both on their A game. One was able to find the ribbons I needed from back stock, and the other was a balloon expert and was able to educate me on what would last through the weekend. Note: don't drive with several inflated balloons in your back seat, it was a challenging drive back to say the least! read more

Party City saves the day! Here I am, heading to an event and in need of some last minute supplies...specifically some stencils and sadly the places I'd visited before were not quite cutting it. I walked in and grabbed the last minute supplies that I knew only Party City would have, but then I found what I only hoped they would have. That's right my friends, they had a stencil kit with all the letters and different shapes and for a very reasonable price...under $5! The staff here is very friendly and the store is always clean and stocked full. It is definitely one of my favorite Party Cities and a little off the beaten path so I'm able to find what I need and get in and out quickly. read more

Yes, Party City, you lost 3 whole stars because you didn't have my order of 3 balloon bouquets ready (as promised) this morning at 9:30am. Apparently, a male employee by the name of "Sebastian" failed to work this order and a female employee (didn't catch her name), didn't see my order (which was not completed). Sooo... my coworker and I stood there for 10-15min for them to blow up balloons. They were able to lasso about 5-6 employees for extra manpower and got the job done and balloons did look fabulous, and ultimately did pull it off. But. It freaked my shit out when I have an event at my job that *I* am leading and a PC employee tells me around 9:37am that the order wasn't ready and no one got it done. After walking around for a while and putting some random things in my cart but ultimately not finding what I was looking for, I asked the girls up at the balloon counter for help. They confirmed that they did not have it I was looking for so I said "OK I don't need the stuff then, sorry, thank you" and then an middle aged, bald gentleman that clearly worked there said something sarcastic under his breath regarding my cart. Two stars for being OPEN. Poor customer service. Jorge behind the counter desperately needs customer service training. We had to practically beg him for information on balloons. He reluctantly helped us, and the way he questioned us on the prices was like he didn't feel we could afford to purchase the balloons lol.. We walked around the store for 20min because everyone we asked for help sent us on a wild goose chase. Can you please train your workers on where things are in your store. I most likely will not be back to this location. Your workers should be happy they have jobs, and be a lot more pleasant, & helpful. read more

Party City is pretty good about having a bunch of useless stuff you really need for some unknown reason or event. Just popped in for sum monster high birthday trinkets, piñata, candy & party necessities and of course they had a wide arraignment. I seam to come here every year to get my daughter whatever she's currently into & they always got the gear. read more
