I also hope they love the DAV warning people to avoid these dumps. AARP will also be be advised about how senior citizens are treated.

If the company can't even take the time to look at input provided, More than likely details will be missed later. Won't be using them.

Upon arrival the lady at the counter was very professional and helpful in getting us checked in. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet the first two nights. The last night more people were at the hotel and we could hear a lot more hallway noise. They had an indoor and outdoor pool with a hot tub. The hotel is located on the water next to a marina. There is a restaurant on location. The hotel is older but well kept.

We enjoyed the ride as the Aquastar escorted the USS Silversides out of the Muskegon channel, on it's way to Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin for a major renovation project. This was the first time the Silversides has left it's Muskegon home since 1987! What an amazing experience it was! I can't say enough about the Aquastar owner Patrick's hospitality, and the crew were all amazing as well! We have sailed on the Aquastar many times before and always enjoy the ship's clean and well designed accommodations. the bar is perfect for a 2+ hour cruise, great selection of drinks and snacks at affordable prices. Plenty of comfortable seating on both decks. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the generosity and support of many charities that Patrick (Owner) and the Aquastar team get behind. I did a Special Olympics fundraising cruise a while back and they gave back a portion of the ticket sales, plus provided Captain's hats and free rides for all of the Special Olympics athletes! This really says a lot about their integrity, love and commitment to the surrounding communities! Thank You Team Aquastar for another fantastic experience and for so many great memories. To anyone reading this, Aquastar has several cruises daily, including a gorgeous sunset cruise and many special events. However, The waves were a little too rough and we weren't able to go out onto lake Michigan so we circled around the mouth of the channel, that was a little disappointing, but still it was a Good Cruise. I wish they had a little bit more information about where we were cruising. It was just a boat ride. A little information about the ships we were passing and some of the landmarks would have been very nice.

The food was amazing: we had plenty and even had a few meals to take home. The night of the wedding, Dimitri sought us out continually to make sure we were happy and to see if we needed anything. There are always so many things that can go wrong during a wedding but fortunately for us, it was a picture perfect night. I would highly recommend this venue and wish we had another wedding to plan so that we could return.

Upon ordering, I first requested a menu item, which would be a 10 oz. Steak Entre... I was promptly informed that they had no 10 oz. steaks left.... So... I changed my order to be an 8 oz. steak... about 5 minutes later, the waitress came back and told me "I'm sorry, we are all out of steaks... would you like something else?"... I asked the waitress if there was a possibility since they didnt have what I wanted (Steak)... Could I get a slight discount on the all you can eat meal which was crab and shrimp. The answer was "We cant do that"... Not "Let me get the manager" but..."We cant do that". So, as irritated as I was, I waited a bit, and I then ordered the SAME MEAL as the rest of my family, which was a hot beef sandwich with redskin mashed potatoes and a salad. About 5 minutes goes by, and the waitress comes out and tells me "I'm sorry, the mashed potatoes arent ready, would you like something else?".... Now... I understand restaurants can run out of stuff... but when the 3rd thing was not available, I had to ask for a manager... When the "manager" came out, she looked at me and said "Is there a problem over here?" to which I replied "Yes" and described the situation... She then replied "OK, Well, I dont appreciate you yelling at my waitress".... Now.. up until now, I hadnt yelled, I was irritated yes, but I hadnt yelled. I told the lady to get me her boss... because I do NOT like being told that I am doing something that I didnt do. Her boss came up *about 6ft 7in, 280lbs, build like an NFL Linebacker* and said "Is there a problem here?" in his deepest voice, to which I replied just as I had to the first manager. In the end, he attempted to make the issue right, even offered to give me a discount on the all you could eat lobster and shrimp deal as I had originally requested, however I was too afraid that my meal would have spit in it by this time, and could not accpept it. He did pick up the entire family's meals, but I ended up leaving without eating due to it... I will not be going back to this restaurant. I do believe that this gentleman was trying to be intimidating... Those that know me, know I am not a man that becomes intimidated easily.
