Then when you go to purchase, suddenly that discount does not apply to the wig you've chosen. The sign simply says "30% off wigs". This is clearly false, misleading, and deceptive advertising. They also will not provide the information to contact a manager or owner. STEER CLEAR! They just want to steal your money and refuse to honor their posted discounts. The staff is kind but completely inept. I would not return and I would advise others to save their gas. I will be reporting them to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. As far as pricing goes, we had priced wigs at other places and Trish was competitive and also gave us a 20 percent discount. She also gave us a bunch of accessories she did not charge for. I purchased a 100% Remy human hair wig from this salon for approximately $2,000 after being advised…read morethat it was the best option for me. I have previous experience wearing human hair wigs and my prior wigs lasted around 18 months with daily wear, so I felt comfortable relying on professional recommendations. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from both a product and customer service perspective. Shortly after purchase, the wig was cut unevenly, with one side noticeably longer than the other. When I returned to have this corrected, I was charged additional fees. Over the next several months, the wig developed significant matting, tangling, dryness, and frizz, primarily concentrated at the nape area. The deterioration progressed to the point where the wig becomes matted again shortly after brushing and frizzes quickly outside, making it difficult for me to wear comfortably in public after only about 6 months of use. When I raised concerns, I was told the issues were caused by storage, products, washing frequency, tools, and Florida humidity. However, I stored the wig on a mannequin as directed, used products recommended by the salon, washed according to the guidance I was given, and used styling tools that were recommended to me. I understand wigs require maintenance and that shoulder length wigs experience friction, especially at the nape. My disappointment comes not only from the lifespan of the wig relative to its price point, but also from how my concerns were handled afterward. Hair loss can already be a vulnerable experience. I wish there had been more compassion, accountability, and willingness to work toward a reasonable solution when I raised concerns.
