Halloween is creepin' closer, & PC is getting their stuff out! This Dia De Los Muertos decor is beautiful, wooden & only $1.49!

6/16/18. Okay. Quite in stark contrast to my cheery, shoulder-shrugging review some years ago, obviously things have plummeted here at this newer location. This store re-located inexplicably a few years ago across, and further south, down Youree Drive. Once, it was neighbors with Barnes & Noble, but now it neighbors with Dick's hella-expensive Sporting Goods. I post this as of today, because I feel like I have to. I visited this store twice this week, day before yesterday (Thursday) and today (Saturday). Both times in the super heat of the hot afternoon, about 2-3pm. Both experiences remarkably similar, and remarkably poor, I'm so sad and so sorry to say. Really, what it comes down to, is it seems like there are about four, maybe five people physically present and working here as uniformed employees during these times. And they are and were always, always, always manning the registers at the front of the store with some ridiculous line of customers. And the store is HUGE! Which leaves about 99.4% of the rest of the entire store space completely abandoned, with no help, none, nada, for no one!! As a customer you are left stranded, abandoned, totally neglected, ignored from afar. Virtually invisible. Got a question? Who you gonna ask? Need a price check? Better check yourself before you wreck yourself! Need an item from the upper Himalayas of their lofty top shelves? You'd better summon the spirit of Manute Bol or forget you ever even had such a absurd thought to begin with! And it's for precisely this reason-on both very recent visits-that I'm giving this place such a lowly, but well-deserved, and certainly earned, one-star review. The top shelf thing. The very top shelf. The peak of Everest, as it were. Both times, I needed assistance getting clearance items from about ten feet up, literally. Both visits, I was more than tempted to grab one of the nearby rolling ladders, and cherrypick the sale items myself (and just why in the hell, they're up that high to begin with is just stunningly stupid and mind boggling!) Thursday, I had to walk the green mile back to the registers where the three or four employees were and ask for assistance. Today, I did that, but they were also swamped with beaucoup balloon orders, I guess, so I waited. And waited. And waited. And then I saw it. A sword. A large, plastic costume sword. Just setting there. Alone. Like Excalibur, minus the Stone , but begging for me to pull it nonetheless. So, I did! I grabbed that rustic-battle-tested-looking-prop piece. And I aimed it skyward to the top shelf where my desired clearance items were set. And one by one, I pulled them off that shelf with the tip of my new trusted blade. Hoping some employee or manager wouldn't suddenly appear now and see me going all Jon Snow and medieval in the back of the store with the clearance section!! And It was laborious work, but I achieved glory and retrieved my bounty! And I lay my sword down on the field of battle (actually, I think maybe next to some Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville Tiki Luau party supplies, and I checked out and left!! I just wish I hadn't had to utilize a saber just to get what I wanted out of this store!!

I find they maintain an excellent selection of party supplies, kids' costumes, and decorations at reasonable prices. They are geared more towards little kids so if you want more hardcore scary, extreme, or kinky then this isn't the place you want unless they have some hidden back room or basement I'm not aware of. You might give The Fun Shop a looksie. Unlike several other reviewers, I haven't experienced rudeness. Some employees are very outgoing and eager to assist and some you have to confront with a lightsaber from the Darth Vader costume accessory aisle. I like how the store is laid out and organized. It's easy for me to find what I'm looking for. As Cher said, I hope you find it, what you're looking for. I hope it's everything you dreamed your life could be and so much more.

Party city needs to hire some help. 10 am promised order time not kept. Suggest you don't rely on them for a birthday party same day.

This store is located in the Old River Marketplace Shopping Center in an old Blockbuster Video in…read morethe Shreve City area! it is neighbors with Piccadilly and Super 1. Great store! Huge, horrifying selection to peruse while flashing back about it being an old Blockbuster! They open at 10am daily! Prices here are actually pretty reasonable and certainly competitive with other stores! Definitely worth a looksee! And they do accept all major credit cards!

I bought the Mr. Oktoberfest costume from the location on E. 70th. When I got home to try it on I…read morerealized the button holes, which kept the costume on, were sewn to the point that the button could not pass through at all. I went to exchange it however they have an all sales final policy. I mentioned that the "all sales final" is not the same as "as is" and it is only valid when the product is functional. It is a breach of warranty to sale non-functional products and refuse exchange or return under "all sales final". The manager was very empathetic and engaging but told me she has absolutely no authority to return or exchange. She then referred me to corporate which has yet to respond to my request for customer support. *Note that after I tried to return the costume I then checked another of the costumes to see if it had the same issue and the button holes were completely sewn shut. If you are going to shop here be sure to check everything on the item you plan on purchasing.
