The COVID situation has us all anxious and confused. I ordered from this store because they had curb side pick up as an option. Trying to make my daughter's graduation special. I ordered 30 balloons to decorate the yard. When a picked my order up I asked the employee to help me take them out to my car. She says she not allowed to leave the store. I said that your website said curbside pick up I am handicapped and I have 30 balloons I'm trying to put my car. She said no way she could help me. I walk out with 30 balloons trying to struggle to put him in my car. Then I watched 10 of them get away from me one bundle and float off into the air. Just pisses me off because I'm jumping through hoops to accommodate these stores with whatever procedure they have in place for that particular day but then they go and change the rules so one day they can do curbside pick up the next day they cannot help a handicap person out to their car with an enormous amount of balloons. REVISION After I cooled off, I went back into the store to speak with the manager. She listened politely. It's their corporate policy that seems to change daily. I get that, however; I suggested that they could still help people by giving them recommendations about loading them into the car, telling customer to bring their car to the curb and load a few at a time. She agreed with me. She offered to replace the lost balloons and I declined. It's more important to have a pleasant experience when you're trying to do something nice for the person you love. read more

An amateur event planner's dream. I am very in tune with my strengths and weaknesses. Major weakness: creativity. I am super organized and can make sure an event goes smoothly, but the person coming up with the unicorn themed, fire dancing extravaganza is sadly not me. Therefore, when I walked into Party City I was struck with shock and awe. It is organized into themes. Thanks for making it super easy, Party City, if I want to throw a birthday, bachelorette, graduation, picnic, etc. Need to find all blue decorations (or green or purple or...you get it)? Done. They have everything you need to color coordinate. I was on a time crunch so I didn't get that much time to explore, but I was a little overwhelmed by all the options. They have a million balloons. I seriously wanted to get a lobster shaped balloon. Why? Well, why not? Not only do they have the standard, congratulations or thank you balloons, they have giraffes, champagne bottles, tons of random stuff. I am someone who loves stuff that doesn't make sense, so yes, I will be going back for that lobster. If you're a professional party planner, you may scoff at Party City, but for the super novice one like me, this is your one stop shop. read more

I just got ALL (and I want to stress that it was ALL) my Halloween Party loot here, and couldn't be happier. Halloween is my favorite holiday, mostly because I love costume parties (or fancy dress parties, as the Brits and Aussies call it, which I think is better). This is the first year that I'm having a porch party to pass out candy to 'trick or treaters'. At Party City, I was able to get our costumes (there is a HUGE selection), decorations (including lighting) for the porch, serving platters, plates, cups, napkins, and even an awesome inflatable cooler. You can even get all your candy here. We walked through the other sections, and there is pretty much everything you need to host any themed party. The type of stuff they have is perfect for causal parties, outdoor porch parties, picnics and BBQ. The quality is not for decorating an indoor dining table for fancy sit down meal. I found myself looking over their Halloween costume selection. I wasn't impressed with the generic items of "Sexy this or that.. " I mean really.. Sexy police officer is over done and how often do we need to see Pimp and ho done? It's been done to death. And for children, there is the requisite Elsa and Anna costumes. Of course there's the plethora of cheap wigs and colored accessories but NOTHING screams originality. And to me. Halloween is an original holiday. But what got me is that when i went to check out - yes I found rainbow leg warmers for a clown costume - I waited 8 minutes while one transaction went thru. How slow can someone be? The other register was handling a return, but she didn't call anyone over when she finished. Seriously not the best service. read more

After getting turned down from the Party City at Countryside, I decided to head 30 minutes south to this Party City. Not only did they accomplish my balloon request but they had all hands helping me and they had the BEST customer service. Nicole, Miranda, and even the manager John were so kind and willing to help me. I will be traveling to this Party City for all future trips even if it is a longer drive. Even if you pre order balloons and have them paid for you have to get in the same line as the people getting balloons blown up. I had a lady in front of me getting about 20 + balloons blown ip. They dont have sense enough to make a seperate line. Even the cashier would not give them to me.They do have a good selection of balloons and party supplies. read more

I have stopped by here a few times now. For both party supplies and during Halloween. They carry a lot of basic stuff for parties, especially children's themed birthday parties. Not much variety for any other occasions. They have almost a whole aisle dedicated to candy- different colors, sizes etc. Fun for parties that do a candy bar. Halloween is always a cluster. Definitely recommend going as soon as they put costumes out and don't wait until week before or week of Halloween. All the employees that I've interacted with during their Halloween craziness were always helpful and friendly. Overall, it's an alright store. They have a large variety of balloons. Their card section sucks though. This store is smaller than others I've been in so maybe that's why less variety. Store is also kind of dingy and...depressing. But- they carry party stuff that might be hard to find at other retail stores. read more

I had no idea they had a separate Halloween room all ear round! I came in getting a few 1920's accessories and I asked the girl up front if they sold wigs. She mentioned the Halloween room and I was amazed! I always their was an employee only stock room. They had select costumes such as super heroes, hippies, cops and robbers etc. I was mainly focused on a flapper wig. But no such luck. I did find long string pearls and a boa to go with my flapper dress! They are always stocked up with all kinds of amazing decor and accessories for all your planning needs! Store has a lot of what you want for a party, and what you didn't realize that you could get for a party. Staff was available to answer questions once I found them. Lots of stuff in the store with a ton of different themes available for said stuff. Why yes I think I do need a self fill bag of different individually wrapped candy, a whistle, pirate eye patch, and a strawberry shortcake balloon. (Best not to ask) Oh free tip... don't leave your balloons in the car as they can pop in the Florida heat. Goodbye strawberry shortcake... you will be missed. read more

It is a good party store with lots of good things but is a bit on the expensive side, especially the balloons. I prefer to check out target first but this store always seems to have the items that big box stores don't carry. read more

I purchased $80 worth of items for a bridal shower...didn't need a platter so didn't take it out of the bag and didn't remove the sticker. Went to return it today...rude manager came to the front..no greeting...just said it could the platter could not be returned and then he proceeded to tell me it looked like it had been used, which it HAD NOT!!!!! Their plastic platters have scratches on them to begin with. I left the platter and the receipt with the manager. He needs to brush up on his customer service skills. read more

I'm not the type to write reviews but I have to stress how awesome of an experience it was today !!! Like seriously the customer service that I got was just amazing.. I went to go get some balloons for an event we were having at work and walked in there with no clue of what I was doing well this young lady was so patient with me and worked with me the whole time and made sure I was satisfied with everything that we were getting done that I will most definitely be coming back !! As a patron of this Party City location for nearly 15 years I find it very odd that it has so many negative reviews. I've had countless positive experiences. Most recently I went in to purchase some Halloween decorations. The store is always clean and decorated for every season. The management really out did themselves this Halloween, decorating the store wonderfully. Friendly customer service and positive attitudes abound!
