Staff is extremely rude. I guess now a days you cannot walk into a party store and buy 1(one) damn balloon anymore and get it inflated. Girl told me they cannot sell me a balloon unless i want thw deflated version and buy a 45$ helium tank to inflate my one balloon. Ridiculous. Worst customer service read more

I called to ask about an item before I can finish I was interrupted and was told "if it says it's online here then it's here order online" then when I said I wanted to check to see if you truly have 2 of these items before I place for pick up I am told "we don't have that" then when I say okay are you checking or know for sure, I am told "we don't have it" so then I ask why would it say in stock if it's not and you just said if it says it's here online then it's here. I'm told "our online is not the best telling what's here" but you just told me to go off what's online, it's here, and place the order, and now you saying it's not the best. It's a bad sign when you call the store and select the option to speak with a staff member and no one answers the phone! Literally rang 50 times or more! I'm with the other one star reviews with poor service if they can't answer the phone they've already lost my business! read more

I came to Party City to buy some balloons for my son's second birthday party, but the only thing I left with was a newfound hatred for that stupid store. I approached the counter and asked the young man working there if he could help me purchase some balloons, but he rudely informed me they were out of helium. I asked him if I could just buy some of the pre-inflated balloons they had on display, but he told me they weren't for sale and that they were exclusively for display. Hmmmm....alright? As I frustratingly made my way to the exit, a polite employee approached me, apologized for the inconvenience, and reaffirmed my option to go to the Denton location, for they had helium. I politely declined and continued my path towards the exit, when she stops me once more and excitedly exclaims, "wait! you can buy some of THIS helium," as she points to at least two dozen unopened tanks of retail packaged helium stacked neatly on the floor, the cheapest option being $44.99 + tax. So, just so I'm understanding this correctly: Party City refused to sell me balloons for my 2-year-old son's birthday party because they were "out of helium", yet they had TONS of tanks of helium for sale at $45+/tank? I wonder how many $12 balloons a $45 bottle of helium could inflate? Probably enough to turn a pretty lucrative profit, but hey, what do I know about balloon and helium overhead? Guess what I DO know though, Party City? You've lost my business for life. Good luck peddling your overpriced junk. read more

Order is always wrong or never prepared. Had a curbside order today. They never came out and I came inside and the employees were standing around talking. I understand being understaffed but this wasn't the case today and even before Covid orders are never prepared when you get there. read more

Store hours posted online are completely wrong. Shows open until 11:00pm and arrive to find out store hours are way off. Online 9am-11pm - actual 10am-7:00pm. Everyone is experiencing staffing shortages but at least keep your website updated. read more

Visited this location in order to grab some decor for my son's bday party. Unfortunately, Minecraft doesn't license their stuff out to retailers. Party city had a lot of stuff available in many colors, but I just feel it's overpriced. If you need larger square plates, they have them here, but otherwise, they didn't have anything else I needed that a Target or Walmart wouldn't have for half the price. For specialty themes, maybe PC has more to choose from. read more

Absolute worse customer service EVER!!! We were there Friday 9/30 evening and we're getting balloons filled. It took us 40 minutes to get them and leave the store. I could not believe that there were two others (young girl with long blonde hair and young brown hair kid with glasses) standing around with no common sense to help out so 'the customers' could not have to wait a ridiculous amount of time- like we did. It was quite disturbing how clueless they were! The one girl with shoulder length hair (with blonde on bottom) at register was quick and no where near as lethargic as the others. I never leave a review but thought it may be helpful for those who want decent mcustomer service and not to have to wait to get three balloons filled, while two ducks just sat around & there was no one else in line and store wasn't busy. Will definitely try to steer clear of this party city! read more

I like this Party City. The store is well organized and clean. It is easy to find items. The service on the sales floor is always lacking. Often times the sales people do not greet you nor do they offer to assist you. Fortunately, I have figured the lay of the land. During my last visit, I did a return with a receipt. It was fairly easy except the cashier kept forgetting to refund 1 of the 2 products I was returning and he had to keep asking the manager to come over. It took him 3 attempts to complete the refund, then the paper jammed. Overall, the young man remained calm and friendly which made the experience not so bad. As I was waiting, I watched others check out and the service for the other customers was positive and they offered to help people out to their car with their balloons. They had sufficient staff at the registers so there was not a wait for people to check out. Overall, I would recommend this store. read more

I visited this Flower Mound location to purchase a couple of balloons. The staff was unfriendly, and told me they were out of helium. However, they offered to sell me a $30-$40 tank of helium, so I could air them up myself! I said 'no thanks', so they told me I could buy balloons, and pay the grocery store to air them up. I chose not to give them my business, because they tried to make their problem, my problem. I probably will not return to this location for any more party supplies, balloons, or costumes. They have an extremely unhelpful staff. In fact, I do not think I have ever received good service at this location. This occasion just happen to be the worst. read more

I placed an online order for balloons and it didn't get to the store. Don't think the local store has control of that so was frustrated but didn't blame them. The staff figured out what was going on, quickly got the balloons together. They worked as a team and all jumped in, unlike some places where one person helps and everyone else watches. They were friendly and helpful. Greeted people coming in while still helping me. Liked how they worked as a team to remedy the issue. Would definitely go back here! read more

I recently order balloons for a baby shower I was planning. I called placed the order and paid over the phone. When I went to pick up the balloons, it was raining very heavily outside. I left my card in the car since I had already paid for the balloons over the phone. I have ordered form party city before and the balloons were given to me in a bag free of charge to keep them from flying all over the place. I expected this to be the same for this order of balloons. There was no bag. When asked for one, the guy at the counter told me they were a dollar. I explained that I left my money in the car and that it was pouring rain outside. His response, "The rain won't hurt the balloons." I was furious partly because he said it in such a disrespectful way and partly because I knew that with the wind and rain I would get soaked trying to wrangle them into the car. He still refused to give me a bag. I ran out to my car and as I expected the balloons were going crazy in the wind and rain. I was soaking wet by the time I got all the balloons in the car and got in myself. My wife still had to paint the balloons, which added to the frustration of the situation. The biggest thing that I am disgusted with the lack of customer service and disrespect that I was treated with in the store. There was understanding on the behalf Party City's employee, only disinterest, sarcasm and rudeness. I will not be going back there for sure. I will fill my own balloons before I go back there. read more
