Love this store always stocked with everything you need and more the employees are very professional and friendly

The cashier guy (Caucasian Male, slender, wedding ring) is rude and uninformed. I've been there twice lately and he has no info about the products and is pushy. Dawg there are 17 other liquor stores around here. Earn the business. He has a very pompous attitude to be working at a liquor store in the Trap Jr. Lol. I won't be going back despite the fact that it's a convenient location and they have a decent selection. I literally had to ask him "hey do you have somewhere to be?!" The store was empty, but I guess I was taking too long for him deciding which tequila that I wanted to spend my hard earned money on. Very ghetto employee.. I do not recommend until they replace him. I'm probably biased because this is my neighborhood liquor store and because it's a) the closest place to get beer and liquor and b) open late. However! It's cool because the people who work here are usually nice and they have free samples of liquor some Friday's and Saturdays (is this a normal thing?!) and usually they have a pretty good selection of craft beers considering the size of the store. It isn't as cheap as Maryland beer stores further down Route 1, but for its location, it's great! There's nothing like taking a shot of free liquor and talking to the woman behind the counter about bubble baths. And shout out to the inexplicable drawing of two dudes making out in the front. read more

Party Time Liquors - This is a masterpiece - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Mount Rainier, Maryland

This place was recommended to me because I was at a friend's house and she had a BOTA box of wine. For box wine I thought it was pretty tasty so when she told me she'd picked it up at Party Time, I thought I'd go get some myself. As liquor stores go, this one is okay. I found the wine selection small, but they did have an unoaked chardonnay, which is not easy to find. Party Time has the standard varieties of basic spirits (vodka, gin, rum, etc) but keeps the smaller, more portable sizes behind the counter; as well as many varieties of "magic number" guidebooks for playing the lottery. I'll admit, I'm spoiled by CA and VA where one can purchase wine in grocery stores, so making a special trip to a "liquor store" is not an ordinary one for me. However, I was intrigued by the under $20 price tag for the BOTA box for what is roughly the equivalent of 3 bottles of vino. When hosting a potluck dinner party, providing plenty of wine in both varieties is essential. The price on the box wine at Party Time was right and the check out guy even ID'ed me, which was a flattering surprise. Overall, a serviceable store for the quotidian bottle (or box), but I'd look elsewhere for that "special" bottle or unusual spirit. read more

Walked in and found friendly faces and some cool advice about how to kick a cold. The selection will provide you with what you nee an not leave your wallet empty. Bulleit was selling for $27 for the regular bottle. A monster version was selling for about $40. I have to remember to come back for the rock n ride. read more

Best thing is late service hours! Open till 11 PM! My go to, "oh sh- I forgot to pick up booze!" place. Prices are pretty good, nothing to complain about. Maybe not the lowest ever, but nothing makes me cringe. They often have bargain bottles for someone looking to "get the job done." Talking a 750 of various liquors for $6, but they taste like what you're paying for. Decent liquor collection, small-ish wine collection, and decent beer selection. A few local cans and bottles available. If you're looking for the perfect vintage top shelf thing, nah. If you're looking for a decent price on a usual item, sure. If you're looking for ANYWHERE OPEN AFTER 9, heck yeah, why aren't there more? Friendly clerks, clean, well organized, convenient parking and location. Huge selection of hard-to-find liquors...and you don't have to ask for your bottles through a huge window of bullet-proof glass, which I always appreciate. Sweet Pea is real doll, too. read more

What liquor store needs to open up at 6am?!? This place contributes tremendous blight in the neighborhood it is located, encouraging all day, everyday outdoor drinking on Rhode Island Ave and the bus circle. My nearby street is littered everyday with glass liquor bottles, plastic singles, heaps of paper lottery scratch offs, black plastic bags, etc. from this liquor store and one another nearby, which are co-owned by the same person, from what I understand. I purposely refuse to patronize them because of this. It's not a pleasant liquor store to frequent and in general feels a bit skeevey. Go to the QC liquor store on Queens Chapel near the Price Rite in Mount Rainier (which did a fantastic remodel - gorgeous in there!) or trek up to Hyattsville to the newer UTC Liquors on East-West Highway near the movie theaters. They have a huge selection and often has things to taste test. Support businesses that promote the well-being of a community, not one that turns a blind eye just bc they are about making money hand-over-fist while catering to certain vulnerable populations. read more
