Visited here recently and liked the store - friendly and helpful employees, clean, convenient, and the prices are fair (and much lower than some other places I've gone to). I just wanted some "cheap" wine (don't sleep on the Sutter Home red blend)! Ended up also grabbing a small bottle of bulleit. I recommend this store and would back again. read more

Highly do not recommend shopping here. I live nearby and come here all the time. I was sold a moldy tobacco product and when I went back to try to get another they told me they didn't accept returns or exchanges. As a customer that's been coming here for years I was very offended that this establishment would blatantly rob me of my hard earned money. Totally come here if you love being FOLLOWED in the store !! They have a crap load of liquor and wine options in addition to a crap load of cameras. So I am unsure as to why they treat paying customers like criminals. I live really near by so this is basically my "go-to" spot. And the last few times I have been followed and stared down. I can't tell you how much money I've spent here but they won't be getting another DIME. Today I had worked up the nerve (out of anger) to ask the cashier "do people steal from your store often or something? I am really tired of getting followed in here. We were looking for a particular bottle of scotch that we had seen at another store for 69.99 but the other place ran out. This place had one left and we were excited, until they rung it up. Instead of scanning it, they typed it in as a miscellaneous item and marked it up to 99.99. We told him we'd seen it elsewhere for $30 lower, and he offered 89.99, but clearly he was scamming us. They also kept trying to sell us a Pappy Van Winkle and didn't take the hint that we weren't interested. We left and found it 20 minutes away in another store for 69.99. I called this establishment to ask about a charge on my debit card and the associate hung up on me. I live in Alabama and I haven't been to Maryland since October 2015 and I have never patronized this store. I walked in looking for a new wine to try out. I don't even get a chance to read the label of 1 bottle to see a man standing one the side of me with his arms crossed staring at me. He didn't say a word just stared at me as if I was going to steal something. You would think he would at least say "Can I help you find anything?" After I said something to my friend over the phone about how uncomfortable I was he moves two steps over still watching me. I pick up the wine I was looking for not even 2 minutes later and as I turned the opposite side of where Man 1 was I was startled at Man 2 on the other side of me on the next isle over staring. Definitely nice to have a liquor store in the neighborhood and though it is still fairly new they have been stocking it quite nicely. I've found the prices there, as well as the selection, to be reasonably comparable to other such stores I've come across in the greater DC metro area. While I would agree that there is typically only one person immediately available at the register, for the times I've been in there I haven't seen the line get any more than 3 customers deep before one of the others steps up to start ringing. These people do not mask for covid. There's plexiglass in front of the registers but the employees wear masks under the chin or not at all. When you approach some will put the mask up but others won't. Either way it's a health hazard not to wear proper masking all the time over mouth and nose whether customers are up front or not. read more
