My child and a couple of friends often stop by to browse. My daughter had a small spill of a juice. Out of kindness and caring, she asked the employee for a piece of paper towel that she could use to wipe it up off the floor. The employees response was; "No, you have to buy it and then clean it up." My daughter feeling intimidated bought the roll and cleaned it up. They charged her for the entire roll of paper towel. This, in my opinion is a complete lack of judgment, frugal, irresponsible ownership/management and is taking full advantage of a minor. Please don't patronize this business called Party World. Their prices are heavily inflated and I've used them out of convenience and proximity to my home. They are often rude when I shop there. Never again read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! I should've read the reviews. I am an avid supporter of small businesses. I go out of my way to do so and am always more than happy to pay a little extra to support them. The staff here is beyond rude. One man who I can only assume is the owner was so disrespectful, started to argue with me about a balloon order. This is after being followed around the store I finally asked for help and he mumbled and walked away. They want you to come in, spend your money and quickly leave. Upon check out while in the middle of placing my order the woman stopped taking my order and took another customer though I was first and left me waiting. When I spoke up, the man started to yell at me.. I politely left my basket of roughly $250 worth of stuff for my son's 2nd birthday and I marched right out of there and gave my money to Party City!(it killed me to do so) Terrible terrible! I live by this store and I would rather walk 2 miles to the next Party City than shop here. I would rather make 5 inconvenient stops to 5 different stores than to come here for all of the things I need. I will always support local "mom & pop" stores but the unprofessionalism I have witnessed and experienced in this store is unreal. The couple that owns this store are rude and nasty. They seem determined to drive themselves out of business. The way they treat their staff is disgusting. The way they treat their customers is alarming. They are NOT helpful. They sit there looking inconvenienced and irritated by the presence of customers. They don't help you find things in their poorly organized mess of a store. They scream and yell at the sweet boy who works there- who is seemingly the only person who doesn't hate customers. I went in there today because I had to pick up some last minute party items. There was a huge sign in the door that said they were having a 50% off promotion on decorative table cloths, napkins and plates- which were exactly what I needed. I found the items myself (which I learned from previous experiences- they won't help you) and went to check out. The young man that works there saw me struggling with my arms fills of items and got me a basket- which I thanked him for but I was all ready to check out. He rang me up and all of the items were full priced. I mentioned that most of the items I was buying were advertised as 50% off. He said he didn't think so but he would check. The owner (female) was standing by and came over to tell me I was wrong. I showed her the photo I had taken in my phone FIVE MINUTES ago. She told me i was lying and that it wasn't her store. I showed her the time stamp on the photo and she proceeded to yell at the young man. She said it was his fault for not taking down the "old" sign. The same sign that she just told me I was lying about, which obviously is in her own window. Talk about not taking accountability for your own business. She then turned to me and told me I wouldn't be receiving a discount because the sign was old. I told her the sign being old wasn't my fault, which she agreed but still refused to honor the promotion. I proceeded to pay for the balloons (only because she had already blown them up and I'm a decent person). She told me I would be paying the same price anywhere else, which I agreed but I told her that I didn't mind. I left the store without the other $30 in items I had selected. I chose to not buy the items I needed on principle. It is unprofessional to 1) accuse me of lying about the sign that's clearly in your window 2) scream at your employee for your failure as a manager/store owner's own oversight, 3) deny the sale of the discounted items that you have advertised in your own window. I watched them take the sign down as I exited the store. It's an easy decision to make to not support a business that doesn't stand by its own advertisement. I usually don't come to this store because of the lack of professionalism, but today I was desperate. I left the store empty handed, inconveniencing myself by having to stop at CVS Pharmacy and Party City- but at least the people there were NICE. Before anyone writes me off as bitter and vindictive, this review is NOT based on this one experience. The first time I ever came in here, I spent 20 minutes looking for things because nobody was around to help. The second time I visited, I was looking for inflatable instruments for a karaoke party I was hosting. I asked the owner (male) if they sold them and he said yes. I asked where I could find them and he just dismissed me and basically told me they were "somewhere" and I would have to find them. Okay? I attempted to find them and couldn't. I found other hard plastic instruments- but it was not what I was looking for so I gave up. When checking out the other items I had found, I asked the other owner (female) about the inflatable instruments. She asked the male owner to check for them and he dismissed her by saying if i didn't find it then they must not have them. She insisted he check and he came back saying they don't have them... So I ordered a bunch of balloons for the party and went to Party City for the instruments. You should note that almost all of the balloons they have on display, they don't actually have in the store. Almost every balloon I picked, I received a similar (but different) balloon because they don't update their display. (Which is obvious because the balloons are hideously dusty and outdated.) My balloon experience was okay. I picked them up the day of the party. The female owner was very nice to me on this occasion; which is fitting since I bought about $70 in balloons. The people here are nasty and they are only nice if they see that you are already spending money. That is not the way to run a successful business. Terrible, atrocious, embarrassing behavior from business owners. I don't see how they've lasted this long. read more

I used to come here and support the store for all of the events that my small business takes on. On this occasion, I called the store to find out if they have a particular item because the store is not exactly convenient for me to get to. Upon calling the store, the owner, who I know, answered and said that he does not know if he has the product that I should come and check the store. When I asked if he could check for me, he said no he will not check, and I have to come and check the store. I am beyond upset and gravely disappointed that this is the type of customer service that I received from a small business that I have patronized almost exclusively for my party items. They have lost a loyal customer because of today's conversation with the owner. if it was possible to post with no stars I would do so. read more

There's nothing I love more than a convenient party supply store! Is there anything this place doesn't have? They have a large variety of supplies for EVERY event! Birthdays, special holidays, weddings, you name it. I also enjoy their unique selection of balloons. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. Their receipt says refund & exchange within 15 days. But has writing on it excluding everything in the entire store. So basically EVERYTHING you buy is final sale. Had to argue to get a refund on unopened items. Many things don't even come in boxes. His response was party supplies are not returnable. His return/refund policy is only in the owners best interest not in favor of the customer. Very highly priced. read more

This store is very interesting to say the least. Walking in, I was expecting a similar feel to a Party City, but boy was I surprised. While they do carry a lot of the same products the look and feel is more like a local dollar store with a miss mosh of products all over the place and in every nook and cranny. The staff was friendly and really helpful and where able to help me find everything I needed. As for prices, I found them fairly reasonable for what they offered. read more

I would give it negative 100 stars of I could! The staff here area rude and disgusting. I brought 6 of my own balloons and also them if they can put helium in it and the said $20!!! For only SIX balloons. When I asked if they would do it cheaper the employee threw the balloons in my face!! So disgusting. I have never ever had the displeasure of meaning ruder people. This place is amazing. It has everything the name party world promise would have. The selection of stuff in there is really what wowed me. Especially their ballon varieties. If you planning anything from just a lil get together to a big bash come get your supplies there. Seriously i went for cupcake containers and candles for graduation and i came out with a whole bunch of other stuff. Saved me trips to other stores. Wow first time in there and it will be the last time! Aisles are not labeled and staff isn't willing to help! Very nasty! Pick up one item and when I went to pay, the change was placed in my hand but a second later, the receipt was thrown at me on the counter as the cashier walked away! I do like this store a lot, they have all the party supplies you would need and saves you a trip to party city, where prices are probably about the same. They also have a lot of other great dollar store type stuff and housewares. Would give it 5 stars because I do like their selection and the convenience, but the owners are in fact very rude as others have mentioned. I don't really mind and other staff is friendly, but I can't say I like the way I'm treated half the time I'm being rung up when I have been supporting this local business for years, work sucks and so does life but cheer up I'm just trying to buy balloons! read more
