However, I still do stand behind the inconvenience of ordering with Cute Balloons** I was going to be a repeat customer. This time I had time to plan and it wasn't as last minute. I will not be attempting to return as a customer nor do I recommend this business. I had a very straight forward order but because he didn't have the colors and type I wanted, the process was stretched out. There was a lot of back and forth with photos and questions. 24 hours later, I realize this is not how it should be. Based on my last experience, I knew I needed to ask questions and request for photos to get options. Because his "green" meant light green when I want a hunter green but he ONLY has the light green and told me he has "green" and would have provided that green to me if I didn't inquire more about it. After a while, it seems like I was directing the sales. To help the guy out, I told him not to blow up every shade of balloon but just take a single picture of the unblown balloon so that I can choose from it. And blow it up if I want to see how it looks like blown up. After that ordeal, he gave me a new quote that was close to my previous order (which had 30 more latex balloons). Basically this time $200 for 50 latex, 10 foil stars, numbers 1 & 0, and delivery. When my last order was $250 for 80 latex, 12 foil stars & delivery. Plus, we gave him a tip even though I was a bit on the fence of doing so. When inquired about the price this time, he concluded that each foil number was to cost $15. For a balloon business, choices are lacking. Eric has no concept of different shades of colors. Definitely has no interests in returning customers. We are a balloon loving party family. So we have had experiences with ordering balloons and blowing up balloons ourselves. I am very disappointed that this local small business is not quite trying to be what they are made out for. Now I'm just more mad because I wasted more time to write this review because I was unhappy with my experience with the balloon man. After I press "post review", I will forget about this business and let go of the angry feelings I have because, damnit! I have a 10 year old birthday party to plan.

So after a few years I happened to drive past Tanforan near July 4rh and see what appeared to be firework trailers. I quizzed by friend who was lodging in San Bruno (and who I had been going to visit that day), and he nonchalantly tells me that real fireworks are legal in for sale and use in San Bruno and Pacifica. I don't know why he neglected to tell me. I hate him sometimes. So now every year I stock up. There are 5-6 trailers here, each for a different local charity and each has basically the same stuff at roughly the same price. They each hand out flyers with more info, and the price labels show how loud and powerful each pyrotechnic is. There is also a trailer in another corner of the lot for the San Bruno Police. I feel like that must be some kind of a trap so I've avoided it. There is a decent selection, from snakes to huge monsters. They accept credit cards at a few booths too. I've never been asked for ID, but they usually ask "you are only going to use these in San Bruno, right?" There is also a handy brochure in your bag of loot that tells you the do's and don'ts. A bit hokey, but please people, don't burn your house down and try to keep all your fingers on. Otherthan that, have fun!

She and I agreed to a size…read more4 wedding dress given my smaller chest size and she knew that my wedding was only 2 months away. She ended up ordering me a size 6. The wedding dress did not fit me at all in the bust and arms and my mom and I only found out the dress was a size 6 after we took the dress home and had paid in full for the dress which was $1200 and happened to look at the tags on the dress which showed a size 6. I called Tina up and was extremely upset given my wedding was so close and she lied straight to my face and said a size 6 was the same as a size 4 which I did not believe for a second given how much the dress did not fit me. Tina led me to believe that the dress could be altered so I went back to the shop with my Mom and Tina continued with the lie that a size 6 was the same as a size 4. We left the dress with the alteration lady, Letizia, to have the dress altered. After the dress was altered, it looked even worse than before on the bust and arms. Tina was not present that day. I ended up crying in the shop in front of Letizia as the dress looked really bad. Tina's husband was there and demanded a partial payment for the alterations even though Tina had promised to do the alterations without extra costs. Tina has refused to take the dress back and refund my money. Now I am out $1200 and have a dress I cannot wear to my wedding which is under a month away. Tina should be ashamed of herself for purposely ordering a size larger for me when she knew I was a size 4! Given what she did to me, Tina has no remorse for deceiving, taking advantage of and ruining desperate brides right before their weddings! Please avoid this stinky place at all costs!
