We signed up for the sunflower painting, and our seats had our names drawn on plated which was super cute. The bartender and painting instructor were super nice. They had a good selection of drinks and some chips available to snack on. A group showed up late, so that kinda pushed back what time we finished. Music was good, and there is only 1 unisex restroom. Some things they could improve on: - timing! Such a fun place for groups, dates or going solo! The art teachers there are very patient and will come around and give advice if you need help. Obviously, they want you to create your own masterpiece but will help you with little details if needed. The space is clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable night. I absolutely love Pinot's Palette! I heard about it through a friend and shortly after I signed up for a class with another friend and we had a great time. Once summer hit I was looking for things to do with my 7 year old granddaughter who loves art. I brought her for an open studio session where you can bring kids (I believe 7 yrs and up) for a Mommy & Me (or grandma & me) class. She loved it and she was so proud of her painting. After that she was hooked so I signed her up for a few summer art classes which she also loved and she really enjoys Haley the instructor. Haley is an amazing young lady who has experience working with children teaching them the art of painting. She's fun and patient and great with the kids. My granddaughter absolutely loves her and she's never shy of a big hug when she sees her. I highly recommend their kids summer camps. It's pay per day so you can sign up for whatever days work for you. Or if you'd like a girls night out or a date night etc this just might be the place for you. I never thought I could draw anything better than a stick man. But with Haley's patience and guidance you'll be surprised at the art you can create. They have a small bar if you'd like a drink or if you're like me who doesn't drink, I walked in with my Starbucks and a few snacks which they are totally cool with. I brought my wife, her friend, and my mother-in-law and it was an amazing time. The host named "JustSimmerin" was lively and helpful. At the end, we were allowed to pick one painting off the wall for my wife's Birthday for free. My wife wanted this beach painting but visualized a drawn "K+N" in the sand, referencing a special moment we had in Jamaica during our Honeymoon. It was at the end of the night and JustSimmerin wholly could have refused our request but instead, she obliged and made it better than we could have imagined. The drinks are inexpensive and the tax is included in the listed price. They take cash and card and parking was reasonable. This is an excellent suggestion for a weekend hangout. read more

Came here for a surprise date night and we both had so much fun! It was a Wednesday night so we actually were the only ones in the shop which was turned out to be a very calm and peaceful setting. I booked a session here at Pinot's Palette through their website and upon glancing, I saw they have two different types of sessions -- 1) the one we chose - you come in and get to choose the painting you want to do. 2) it's a preset painting. I decided to go with the first option because it worked with our schedule and because we wanted something a little less pressuring. Highly recommend coming here with a date, friend, family, group, even alone! I had so much fun and my boyfriend and I ended up loving our paintings by the end of the night. We had fun sipping on our moscato and chatting while painting next to each other - it's a very bonding activity you can do and there really is zero pressure to it! The person helping us was very kind and helpful, she gave us time to choose our painting and then set out the required paint and paintbrushes. For this spot, I'd say dress however you like - they provide a little apron to protect your clothes but I would recommend maybe something short sleeved or a sweater that you can roll up the sleeves. My 12-year-old son has been attending Open Studio sessions at Pinot's Palette and absolutely loves it. He's been four times so far -- twice on his own, and then twice more with a friend he invited because he enjoyed it so much. He enjoys bringing some of his own supplies, but also uses the materials provided. A fun vibe, I went on a Saturday night with my friends. The instructor and his coworker were nice and they kept the atmosphere light hearted. It was also my first time doing anything like that so I wasn't really sure what to expect. The paint night I went in for was an especially challenging one (for me) because you had to paint the background kinda fast for a blurred/contored effect so I wasn't the best at it but that didn't stop the enjoyment. I was just worried I wasn't gonna finish on time lol. I did bring snacks (which is free to do) but didn't have time to eat them because I was behind most of the time but that's no one's fault other than my own I'm slow haha. I really enjoyed my time here I made reservations initially I wasn't able to make the first date I selected so I received credit I easily applied towards a second date. And it was wonderful. It was nice to get in and the staff was pretty friendly and inviting to the whole thing. We did this on Valentine's Day weekend so there were a lot of couples. That was very cute. We decided to paint the painting to the moon and back, I thought we wouldn't be able to pull it off but with the help of our instructors we were able to, and I was glad we did. We still have it and can't wait to hang it up. I wasn't too crazy on their selections of drinks because I wanted it to be more expanded but I understood it's a sip and paint not drunk and paint. I like the way they worked at everyone's pace. That's hard to find an instructor that does not get frustrated. I even ended up buying one of those little small paintings to your left by the counters. They have such beautiful art hung up everywhere. Can I also point out, their bathroom is very clean! Which is really important to me when being provided a service. Stacey and Ben helped me put on a wonderful proposal event for my girlfriend (now fiancé) and I. I wanted to have us paint a custom portrait of a selfie she and I took a few months back and they were able to print the photos on a canvas and direct us on how to paint the portraits in a "pop-art" format. The private event was scheduled for a Friday and on the Tuesday prior I had a call to go over the plan with them. When we arrived, Ben had redesigned the studio's painting to all be of flowers to make our private event even more romantic. Ben even stayed a little longer for us because the portraits were kind of hard to paint (they did warn me that it would be tough to do but I think they turned out great). Once we finished our paintings, Ben took a video of me proposing and its that video that I've been able to share with friends and family to help us celebrate. A family friend rented out Pinot's Palette for a Sip & Paint party for 15-20 of her closest girlfriends & we had a blast! 21+ event as alcohol was being served. Our instructor Ben was super chill but kept us all energized. He gave detailed instructions on mapping out the foundation of our painting & holding the brush in certain ways to achieve the desired effect we were aiming for. He was proactive in refilling our paints, some that glow under black light. Our group brought cupcakes, charcuterie board, etc., which I'd recommend doing, especially if you're celebrating a special occasion, as they sell beverages & snacks but nothing substantial. Wine, the soundtrack of my teenage life (Ben, your eclectic taste in music was seriously right up my alley), & a step-by-step tutorial on painting something my artistically-challenged ass can be proud of -- a five-star experience. read more

Ordered Pinot's for a virtual paint and sip night and selected everything off the website. The website is a little difficult to follow, so I would recommend emailing Stacey to understand shipping requirements + how to secure the video. The ordering process was seamless once Stacey sent me all the right links. The Eventide video was created for a live event, which wasn't optimal for a virtual experience. Many times the paint was being mixed off-video and we couldn't see the color and the artist decided to go back and make certain parts of the painting better after we thought we were finished with a color and used up all the paint. This definitely made for quite the bonding experience, so I'd recommend it regardless. read more

It was my first time coming here, Ben hosted the class. He was awesome. He made me feel very welcomed, he was so friendly and funny. I felt comfortable and I was excited to try this out. He did an amazing job teaching the paintings and techniques /tips/tricks. He was very positive and encouraging, I like that he didn't tell people you should do it this way or that way. He was pointing out to all of us, what he liked about our paintings. Im not an artsy person so my confidence was not very high and at first I was thinking Meh my painting is alright but then when I got home I looked at it and I thought, Ben was right, for this being my first time, I did a really good job. I really enjoyed coming here it was such a nice and peaceful ambiance. I would always recommend going during the night time painting because parking maybe easier since it is a busy street from what I noticed. We painted from the moon and back and I really liked it the whole experience was really nice, especially since everyone was a couple. It made the entire painting experience more intimate but still an atmospheric experience. The art studio is very clean even their bathroom. It was definitely worth getting their early because you can get drinks and start to settle in. We drank hard apple cider, wine, and beer which was pretty decent I wasn't crazy about it, I felt they could have provided better in that aspect but I know it's important to keep things clean. It was nice to have also the employees offer a lot of guidance, while you're painting to perfect it but also offer the option that if you wanted to choose your own color palette you could. We had a work Zoom holiday painting party courtesy of Pinot's Palette. In preparation for our class, we had all of our supplies individually packaged for our office to send to each of us. Our instructor, Ben, was very patient and entertaining. He walked us through all of the different steps to draw our interpretation of the example. Since this was an adult party, we were encouraged to imbibe our choice of alcohol and he used a phrase of the day to make sure we had plenty coursing through our veins. They took screenshots of of each of our artwork throughout the course to see the progression and gave us plenty of time to take different breaks throughout the process. I would definitely recommend the Zoom party, and once the pandemic is over, I would definitely recommend the in person version as it seems like it would be a lot more fun. read more
