I had to cancel my appointment the day before after business hours. They had no problem…read morerescheduling the appointment which was for an evaluation. I called the next day to reschedule the evaluation and if needed to have a tooth pulled. Dr. Kaufman analyzed the issue and agreed that my two upper wisdom teeth both had to be pulled. I told him that when I rescheduled the appointment, I also scheduled for the extraction, he immediately went to work extracting the tooth. When he saw that there was some discomfort when he tried to inject Novocaine, he right away used some more topical anesthetic to make sure I was comfortable. Once I put my headphones on and had music playing, he went to work without bothering me until he was done. He made the whole experience one that I would not forget and when I need another appointment, I will not hesitate to call.

A friend told me to go to Dr. Alpert and literally described her as a "saint". I cannot describe how happy I am to be seeing her. She is extremely patient and sweet and gentle and friendly with the kids. They absolutely LOVE her and the hygienist. I know it sounds crazy but they cannot wait to go back. She reads them stories, has a treasure chest of toys, and has a kid friendly exam room. I am also going and cannot be happier. The office is impeccably clean, the staff is so nice and Dr. Alpert is just great. You really can't go wrong with her.

However, due to the intense fear I had regarding the pain that I knew I would inevitably be suffering after having dental work done - I kept pushing it off. Finally, I couldn't push it off any longer and went to see Dr. Sam Horowitz at ICGD. In my entire life,I have NEVER had such a positive experience at the dentist. Dr. Horowitz has been calm, understanding and extremely patient with me. He made sure I knew that he would take care of me. Despite my repeated need to be assured that everything was gonna be ok, Dr. Horowitz made it a point to remind me that if I did have an issue -pain or otherwise- he was available and reachable! The office staff are friendly and professional (which is hard to find sometimes), and the nurses are patient, reassuring and caring as well. ANDREA was my nurse on more than one occasion, and not only did she make me feel comfortable about asking a zillion questions, but she calmed me down and assured me that my anxiety was completely normal. Like any true artist, Dr. Horowitz created, crafted & perfected his work over a total of 13 months. He took immense pride in making sure that his completed artwork sparkled and shined like a true masterpiece. How lucky am I that his masterpiece is MY NEW SMILE. I've had plenty of successful dental procedures when the doctor administered the anesthesia as I need. Dr Bey said he would but then didn't do what we discussed. In fact, when I asked him to stop, he refused and kept injecting me. It was a bait and switch. Maddening, and frustrating!

Metaphysical practices, reiki, stones, readings, these are all interesting things to me but by no means something I have a knowledge of. Sienna was incredible accommodating and helpful putting together a perfect group of stones and crystals for my wife's friend and even throwing in some free incense and other items. All of this is great, but it was what happened at checking out that really made me want to write a review and hope it helps her business, especially since I don't really use yelp much anymore, I'd rather only write positive reviews for great experiences than anything else. At checkout I noticed a plant I used to have. Sort of a creeping vine leafed plant. My toddler poured a ton of juice in it and unfortunately it died. Without even saying anything else after identifying it for me which I have already unfortunately forgot, but I'll make a point to look it up through a photo later, she cut a clipping and gifted it to me in a small glass with water completely free of charge. This was a small gesture, but it meant a lot. The plant that I previously had that died was my mothers, who was killed 6 years ago now. So even though she was unaware of that, the gesture was very meaningful to me. If I ever need anything from this shop, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here, or refer a friend in need.
