At least in the pool side building. the temperature is regularly 75+ in there and there are no fans circulating air. It makes it pretty difficult to focus and get and workout to the extent I would like. I find myself calling it quits earlier just due to uncomfortabilty. I enjoy the setup here and how it's not crowded but especially in the summer months I would surely appreciate at least a fan or two to circulate some air. I sure hope they are able to do something about the temperature/air circulation in there soon.

They also have saunas in both the male and females locker rooms. There is a large outdoor space for gatherings or just to hang out with friends, as well as a full service cafe. This place really has it all!! There are a lot of classes available including karate, tai chi, aquafit, barre, cycle, sculpt and even reformer pilates! So there's truly a class for everyone. Paula, who teaches various classes including yogalates, restorative yoga, and gentle hatha yoga is absolutely amazing! So friendly, patient, kind and just one of the best yoga teachers around! Love, love, love this place so much! Thanks, PRSC!

His programming is methodical and if you show up, you will get stronger. Tell him your goals, and he will help you get there. He cares about the people that come in and he wants you to be successful. From day one, Jeremy--the owner and head instructor--sets the tone with his expert coaching and thoughtful approach. Before you jump into a class, he takes the time to teach correct form and foundational movement patterns. This not only prevents injury but also helps you get the most out of every workout. As someone who's been to plenty of gyms, this level of care and attention is rare and deeply appreciated. My husband and I have been attending classes for about a month now, and we've already noticed significant improvements in our form and strength. Each session builds on the last, and it's clear the programming is designed with intention and expertise. Beyond the workouts, the gym culture is incredibly inclusive and welcoming. Whether you're new to strength training or more experienced, you'll feel supported and challenged in all the right ways. Plus, the space is always clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully laid out--something we really value.

Her primary fitness center was in…read moreSLO, when she was employed down there, but due to a change in jobs, her time is now spent in Paso. I've been an on again, off again member since 2021. Working in Oakland and being home just once a month made it difficult for me. Fast forward to 2025 and I retired and added myself, again to her membership. While my fitness goals have changed, I returned to the club and have been using the pool three days a week. With a reconstructed knee and shoulder, this just takes pressure off those joints. I've been happy with my time at the club. It can be daunting to "get in, get out" during the busy periods of the days, when equipment is being used and you are waiting. I've been lucky to get my workouts in quickly in the early afternoon, both in the weight room and in the pool. The one complaint I know my girlfriend carries, is the availability of classes, especially in Paso. Her going to SLO after work made things quick and easy, but the class schedule is hit and miss for her in Paso. She does with there was a bit more consistency. Aside from that I've been happy with the equipment and cleanliness of the facility. The staff has always been attentive and able to answer my questions. Even better, the pool was redone in Paso (2026). Thank Kennedy for a good club experience

My problem is with some members that don't know anything about gym etiquette. When I'm training and moving from station to station, I'll see some WINNER sitting on the ONLY incline bench there and he's doing more with his phone than training. The employees walk past him without saying a word. I'll buy these guy's memberships if they'll let me kick them out! I need to train and get ready for work.

It's good to see that most people are using them, which makes a big difference. My main concern is the air quality in the workout area. It often feels stuffy and humid, which can be uncomfortable especially during busier hours. I worry a bit about the lack of airflow, particularly in a space where people are breathing heavily or may not always be feeling 100%. It just seems like better air circulation would make the environment feel healthier and more pleasant. They do have those large overhead fans that are great when they're running high enough to really move the air that's a possible solution, if they could be set a little higher during peak times. The locker room, on the other hand, is great clean, well-kept, and comfortable Edit: Hi, thanks for your response. I was under the impression this WAS reaching out to the appropriate staff, as this message came from Planet Fitness Customer Service. I'd appreciate it if you could please forward this concern to the management team at this location, as proper air circulation really impacts the workout experience. Thank you
