Came all the way from California to have a taste of childhood and it did not disappoint! Great service and friendly server got us seated and ordered. Food was fresh and hot and tasted better than I remembered. As we were there the front counter and kitchen managed several phone orders, takeout, and still came around to refill drinks and get our orders correct and quick. No fuss in' or fightin', just tasty food and friendly service. I hope they never change, because it is perfect just the way it is.

    To-go slopper

I always get the slopper w/extra chile and fries. Hands down the best chile in town. I like others and I chile cook myself but something about this chile is delicious

Service was fabulous and the slopper burger was incredible - the best green chili I've had in along, long time.

Pros: Walking in the hostess was helping another couple but did acknowledge us. She went to sit the couple and another staff apologized and said that she will be right with us. We were sat outside and immediately were given water. Our waiter, who I can't remember his name, talked to us and took our drink order. My husband ordered a beer and me an iced tea. He gave us a few minutes before coming back to take our order. We started with the green chili fries and when they came out they were very good. I do wish there was a little bit of spice to it, but not a con. I even ordered a cup of green chili with my shrimp tacos. And my husband ordered the slopper. I loved the shrimp tacos, that I got the lettuce instead of a tortilla. I would highly order and recommend. Husband loved the slipper. He said if you don't see the fries or bun, assume your eating it all. Our waiter is very knowledgeable and was quick with his recommendations. He answered a burger question when asked and took his time with us. We did not feel rushed. My husband also ordered a beer flight and found some he enjoyed. All the staff worked together and matched our personality. Well, my husband's personality. We ended up ordering 3 cups if green chili with their chips. The salsa had a nice kick, mild kick, because they added green chilis to it. It tasted home made. When we had a minor issue with the bill, our waiter took charge and without hesitation took to fix it. We of course had to order dessert. Our waiter came back within minutes to inform some of the desserts were sold out but offered a replacement. I got the peach pie and my husband got the chocolate cake. The peach pie was a perfect mini size Cons: My husband was surprised the manager wasn't walking around ensuring everything ran smoothly. I honestly don't see it as a con. Also, the parking lot is small and when it gets busy I can see walking from another block over. There are 3 spots for the hotel and 4 spots that are a 2 hour limit. Recommended? Absolutely yes. Great food and excellent staff. Everyone here is friendly and seems excited to help the customers. We will definitely be back. And maybe stay at the hotel and walk over to enjoy a hamburger or more shrimp tacos with a cup of green chili

Since we hadn't been here in five years, I mentioned to our waiter how much I was craving a bowl, and he went out of his way to make it happen. That level of service alone made the visit memorable. I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.

This is a review for the bar at this food hall. Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon. Wasn't…read moresure what I wanted so I checked out the menu and decided on the Espresso Martini. The description on the menu says "Vanilla Vodka, Luxardo Espresso Liquer, Simple syrup". Sounded like a pretty standard Espresso Martini. The glass arrived and it was the color of chocolate milk. I asked the bartender of it had Bailey's or something in it and she said, "yes". I pointed to the menu and noted that the menu didn't say anything about Cream. She said, "That's the way I make it." I asked her if she could make it like the menu and she said, "Yes, but it won't taste good." I asked her if she could make one with just a little of the cream liqueur, and she said, "Are you going to pay for other one?" I was like, "What the hell?!?! You make the drink different from the description and you expect me to pay for it?!?!?" I don't know if that's a Colorado thing or something, but I wanted to just walk out. This bar sucks.

I liked the selections of food offered and was able to narrow it down to 2. I chose the The Hungry Buffalo and chose their bison nachos. It was a simple dish; tortilla round chips, bison, green chili, tomatoes. The menu didn't specify tomatoes and I should have asked. Not fond of tomatoes and there was a lot. Also got a diet pepsi, nothing fancy there. Prices are reasonable, spent less than $20 with tip. Cons: I can see the place getting busy. The green chili on the bison nachos was OK. A little bland with no real flavor to it. I've had better green chili at other casual restaurants. There wasn't a lot of bison on it either. Just a whole mess of soggy chips and bland green chili. Plus the tomatoes took me about 5 min to pick them all out. I wish the menu said tomatoes but that was also my fault for not asking. Would I order them again? No. Recommended? I would recommend the actual whole of a place yes. Food is hit or miss. Depending on what you get. Husband's first experience was sub par but this go around was a little better. I'm willing to go back and try something else. Stars would be 3.5
