I have heard they used to be a lot better but after nearly 40 years in business ups and downs are to be expected. If you are in the area and need a quick burrito on the go this is a decent local spot. The times I have visited their staff has been courteous and helpful. Food was good. Sometimes it a hit and miss, but overall keep going back! I will recommend!

Excellent food, fairly quick service, parking situation is rather odd and there is no where to eat your burrito (to go only).

Parking can be a bit of a challenge, and there will likely be a decent line. This is a tiny place on a corner lot. But, the reason for visiting this little gem is that you will be rewarded with some of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. I wish I could have given a better review. This use to be one of favorite places to pick up a "good" Mexican Burrito & a lot of other Mexican food options. So we finally came here, after a year and a half of living in Pueblo. The burritos are good!! They aren't fancy recipes. It's good old homemade burritos that envelop you into a hug as you eat them. I wish they could open the restaurant to dine in. But it is what it is. They are also not selling chorizo burritos anymore. I got the avocado, green chili and pork burrito and requested potatoes to be added and they did :) my friend ordered the eggs, chorizo (substituted with sausage), cheese and potatoes and requested avocados to be added and they did :) we both enjoyed our burritos and did not eat anything until like 5 in the evening. Food is mid at best, the girl at the counter this morning was so rude when I asked for no potato then while practically screaming tried to lecture me on how it would take 20 mins to make each persons food. I called to make a pick up order. I was told I had to call back in ten minute even though they were open. If you can't take customer orders when OPEN then maybe you need to change your hours so your not denying customers. Or how about don't answer the phone. This little burrito shop is one of the best breakfast places I've been to within Pueblo. They have so many option of breakfast burritos. I got the breakfast burrito with chicharron. The cheese, potato, and green chile that comes along with it makes for a tasty handheld burrito. This place does get a little busy and there is no dine in tables. But I still got my food in under 15 minutes. I will most definitely come here again! read more

It's been a long time since I've been here and well overdue. So glad hubby and I stopped by the other day. It was nice to see they are still busy, especially with everything going on with COVID. I'm trying to support small businesses. You can order from the outside window or inside. It was nice to see all patrons practicing social distancing. We were not disappointed with the tamales and hot sauce. You can buy as little or as many as you want. The perfect amount of masa and plenty of meat, super moist. These were DELISH and a must try. Yes I was at Betty's burritos on Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and this was everywhere middle and last year and I bumped into a bunch of roaches coming into their back door where they were preparing the food I was trying to get some breakfast burritos I ended up walking away I said that's disgusting a bunch of cockroaches bring into the back door that's nasty they probably got some rats in there too no wonder I got six a couple of months ago I thought it was food poisoning read more

I had to come back here after 15 years since I last had their burrito! I had pork & avocado aaaaand the pueblo signature green chili!!! The pueblo green chili was the one made me love Mexican food during the time I was living here back that time. I kept asking green chili and verde salsa and verde sauce but none of them was like this Pueblo green chili! Finally, this time I learned that is the speciality for Pueblo, and only can be harvested and roasted in September! Not only the Betty's green chili is amazing, her tortilla is the best in the world! It is so thin but holds everything inside! I really like how it is thin but still chewy and flavorful! Betty (I assumed that she was the Betty) , said that it's been 20 years since she started the business. I hope they will keep up their family / local business!!! This is my favorite spot for chorizo breakfast burritos! Their green chili is sooooo good. There is a reason the line is always so long!

I find that the change in leader ship has had a steep decline and how they do business they find it all right to send out tacos without lettuce cheese and tomato in them and not tell anybody about it they don't get the fact that if they don't keep a consistent product they're going to keep consistent customers. No Chorizo ever again. Until today, I would have gladly recommended this establishment. The menus in the store now say "no chorizo". When I asked the clerk if this is a temporary, supply chain related shortage, she said they were throwing away too much Chorizo at the end of the day. Was driving through to Denver and gave this place a shot. Great breakfast burritos, I got the chorizo and egg and drove down the street to the park to let the puppies stretch and so I could enjoy this tortilla wrapped goodness. I pull up and get the dogs out on their leash and load up the red sauce and take a bite. It was like the commercials where everything slows and the lights become warm and the camera pans around because nothing else matters. It was that good!
