Scheduling appointments is incredibly easy, and everyone in the office is friendly, accommodating, and organized. I have TRICARE Select, and the insurance process has been seamless thanks to their knowledgeable and helpful staff. One thing I really appreciate is their workflow. Patients are staggered every 30 minutes, and therapists work with no more than two patients at a time. The process is incredibly smooth and efficient--you never feel like you're sitting around waiting or competing for your therapist's attention. The care feels personalized, focused, and well organized. The quality of care has been exceptional. My therapist has created a personalized rehabilitation plan that has helped me make tremendous progress in a relatively short amount of time. In fact, my orthopedic surgeon was very impressed with my recovery and progress since surgery during my follow-up appointments. i saw Matt for physical therapy for CRPS snd he showed me very little respect, empathy or…read morecompassion. He hooked me up to a negative contrast machine and I told him it was hurting as tears streamed down my face. He cracked joke with another patient across the room "Darlene thinks she's in Matt's pain clinic". I didn't find it humorous at all. He acted like I just didn't want to exercise, but I was in an extreme amount of pain for which he had no compassion. He left that machine on my foot that felt like it was burning my skin off He stated it was on the lowest temperature snd seemed exasperated with me. The assistant showed more compassion than he did, but she had to do what he said. She apologized on his behalf. He refused to take it off. Prior to my few visits with Matt I had the cold version of CRPS. My foot was always ice cold and often blue or purple. After him using this machine for 25 minutes it always on fire. My surgeon said Matt was too aggressive with the machine with my nerve injury snd my nerve will now likely stay this way. Matt, you harmed me and you treated me poorly while you did it. I was kind to you. You were stressed because your children were in the were out of school with you at work, and I was trying to help you entertain them while you helped patients. I don't know why you felt you had the right to treat me the way you did. It was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I'm so angry at you for what you've done to my foot. It's in even more intense pain than before I saw you. You need to learn to listen to your patients. You told me I needed to do what you said or my ankle was going to be stuck like that when I was in intense pain. You said it to embarrass me if front of other people. That is not helping the situation. I didn't need you to act that way. You even said "'m not here to be your friend". Firstly, I didn't ask you to be and secondly that doesn't sound like someone who wants to help me. I've waited a long time before writing this review. I decided to go ahead with it, because you damaged my foot for life. i was recovering from a nerve wrap surgery and you chose to heat it up and now it's good and mad. Before coming to you I was making some progress at least able to walk some, but once this foot got put into a fire its changed everything. I'm really disabled now. I'm having to get a spine stimulator. I just want you to think next time. Be nicer and less cruel and judgmental. You have no ideal what I had been suffering with and I doubt you could have even handled it if your kids being if the office were stressing you out. I heard such good things about you, but you did not live up to them. Your knowledge about CRPS was not on point either.

I was shown a few stretches, no strengthening for a shoulder injury that my orthopedist prescribed. My appointments were extremely expensive ( higher than the charlottesville physical therapist i ultimately went to) and the appointments barely lasted 5 minutes, with the therapist complaining i hadn't received a cortisone shot the entire time. After switching to Charlottesville Orthopedics I was improving within 4 weeks with no cortisone shot needed. I don't recommend this office-go to one they don't rush you out of

I needed surgery to repair it. The woman's insurance company was threatening to sue me and harassing me multiple times a day to try to get me to dismiss the injuries as false. I also had a concussion, couldn't hear out of my left ear for a few months, had Bell's palsy, shingles and 3 bulging discs in my neck. I told Dr. Grant I thought I was going to have to get a lawyer to get Geico to stop harassing me, and he accused me of being the problem. fine, whatever, have your opinion. something else he did disgusts me. He told me and 2 other family members he released an entrapped tendon and repaired my rotator cuff, but in my surgical notes he changed that. luckily for me he wrote it on my post op note when leaving the hospital in his handwritten statement. it's the only up reason my medical costs were covered. what a jerk! do better Dr. grant! thank god I had a lawyer because my doctor didn't care what happened to me. that's clear. his surgery skills were fine, however.

They were friendly, extremely helpful and very thorough and clear about getting information and conveying treatment options. I ended up getting surgery on my knee. It was done quickly and well and my follow up care was excellent. I could not be happier with the care I received from everyone in the office. The whole operation is very patient-centered and they are very accommodating about everything from appt. times to extra attention when a complication arises . The personal attention is very genuine and they really listened to what I wanted.

I felt I needed an immediate adjustment and my regular chiropractor couldn't fit me in for a few…read moredays. I called Lowman Chiropractic and they fit me in that day within two hours. When calling to make an appointment, it's as if you are inviting yourself over for coffee and a chat, not a neck or back adjustment. They have this way making one feel as if they are part of that office. I've never had to wait to be seen. In fact, I've called a couple of times while in town and at the last minute called to see if they could fit me in while I was close by... They've always said 'Come on in... We'll see you when you get here.' With a regular adjustment I'm in and out within about ten minutes. Dr Lowman doesn't push extra treatments on people. He didn't tell me that it would take about six weeks for me to get relief with making appointments two to three times per week. He simply says..."call me when you need me." I really like that.

Dr. Lowman picked up where my accupuncturist/physical therapist left off when I moved to town. I have sports injuries that cause me back pain and headaches every day. He found a long term solution to my pain as well as treatment for me. That coupled with his recommended exercise, better shoes and massage therapy (at a different business), my back has felt the best in years. Although I don't go often, Dr. Lowman's work and advice have been invaluble to me, especially being on a budget. They are always available to take me same-day on those emergency cases. I've referred my husband and mother-in-law to him as well. I only wish his hours included 5-6 PM weekdays or Saturdays for the rigid working-class schedule.
