The worst ever. My wife went to them for eye exam and glasses. When she got the glasses she could not see through them, they was either to strong or not strong enough. We went back to them hoping for a new exam but they wouldn't do it he said she would get use to them and would be able to use them someday. These are every day glasses whats she suppose to use. He was rud and uncopperative. Now she has glasses and sun glasses she can not use. I would never reccomend them to anyone. Total money was $1,020.00. We paid $650.00 and our insurance paid the rest. After we went back he gave us $200.00 back but my wife still doesn't have glasses that she can use. read more

Not only did they give me a very thorough exam, also gave me information to relieve my red eye condition. Dr. Passaro also took time to discuss my pre-diabetic condition and a healthier way to eat to improve and protect my eyes. I felt very cared for. And I got a BOGO deal on my glasses! read more

Had a great experience with Dr. Vincent Passaro and Dr. Katherine Passaro. They're so friendly and approachable. They answered all of my questions and were exceedingly patient with me. I called several times to ask questions about insurance coverage and options available, and had no trouble getting in touch- they even answered a call after hours!! My first experience at Passaro Eyecare, in their Hudson office, was very positive, starting with Dr. Katherine Passaro's pleasant and warm greeting. My general eye exam, performed by the other Dr. Passaro, Vincent, was extremely thorough, conducted in fully equipped exam rooms. The atmosphere throughout was congenial, yet very professional and respectful. No pressure to buy anything, only a recommendation - in my case - to wear Rx sunglasses outdoors in the future. I'd give zero stars if I could! I went in March and I was understanding beyond what I should have been as the doctor and his wife are extremely disorganized. They overbooked and had be waiting for an hour for a simple exam but it was the beginning of COVID and they are a small business so I tried to give them a chance. The doctor was very demanding of his wife and he couldn't get anything done without asking her to get samples and work the card machine for him. They both seemed very stressed out even though there were only a few clients there. There were papers all over the Hudson office which is very unprofessional and concerning for HIPPA and client safety. The doctor was very demanding when my contacts came in and wanted me to drop everything to come get them because they split their time between two offices. They can't effectively handle one office so why they have two is absolutely beyond me. I have overlooked all of this unprofessionalism and tried to be understanding but the final straw was my calls to their office and voicemail asking for a refill of my contacts that went unanswered for over a week. I called back again a week later and the lady seemed unbothered by the fact that my calls went unanswered and I informed her that I will take my prescription and go to 1800 contacts as a computer is more efficient, responsive, less expensive, and more polite than these people. I feel bad for old people or others who do not have the choice and cannot afford to go elsewhere. I'm sure they will post some automatic replay about how they "value their customers and God bless" guess what?!? Do better or get out of the business if you can't be professional. Decide to to to Dr Passaros optical. At the beginning everything fine. I pay for a contact lenses fitting, and ask for a glasses eye exam with my insurance benefits. Had to wait almost a month for the glasses and then started to have dizziness. Call back and went back the optical, the doctor was totally rude, never check the prescription insisting it was ok. Then he said well let's send them back to the lab and what can I say, ok. Waited for two more weeks went back, then try them back, I don't know the posicion of the other man working there but then I asked him what did they do in the lab, did they changed the prescription? He said it didn't said here, I insisted but what did they do? I don't know. Really? In an optical place working with customer, and don't know. The doctor jumped from the office make her signed for the glasses. My God, he didn't care. Making the long story shorter, took them, guess what! One of the lens was almost out of the frame try to fix them and boom broke the frame. And boom $150 to the garbage. And no glasses! Soo sad and mortified. read more

If you like to wait over a half an hour to be seen, in a dirty office, with a doctor that scolds his staff in front of children then this is the doctor for you. Not only did all of these things happen but then the "Doctor" also attempted to over charge me an out of pocket fee in addition to charging my insurance for something that my insurance told me was completely covered. This office, staff and "Doctor" are completely unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone! read more

Where can I start , Dirty Office , not clean, dust everywhere , Optician cloth dirty , he doesn't look like he has a good hygiene either, rude and expedite things, is very nervous and shaky , was sweating and stressed out during my husband exam, seems like he was unsure of himself I told my husband to leave, but he felt uncomfortable doing that , but this doctor was so unprofessional and most of all, yells at his wife in front of customers and his own children, has strange answers and manners , does not listen to the patient and ordered the measurement for my husband eye glasses , had to redo them twice , told my husband they were fabricated in my insurance company lab, that's its not his fault, that they accidentally lost them twice , took my husband money, never received the eyeglasses my husband could still not have his glasses after 7 weeks, they never answer the phone, fishy place , we are just wondering at this point if this Doctor has a valid license he definitely needs the Health Department to check him up !!!!
