His behaviors became increasingly erratic, needing family to stay with him 24/7, even though he was in Assisted Living. 3 ER trips in 3 days, physicians at the ER were all saying "this is end of life" - but the smaller hospice couldn't support us with the services we needed - basically, keeping him comfortable, calmed, able to rest, and not so fearful. We made the call to HOV and that same day, EVERYTHING was being addressed. He went from literally trying to climb the walls, injuring himself, thinking there were killers hiding in his shower, to resting quietly. We were kept updated by the compassionate HOV team. This made everything so much easier. The stress on family during this time is unbelievable - to know your loved one is in such great care, that we don't have to be there 24/7 while juggling work, home, kids, etc. is an incredible weight lifted. I've also worked with HOV on numerous occasions for work. As a nurse, I'm confident in recommending HOV. I also needed the 8 hours of training mandated by AZ for dementia care - and HOV provided that for free to our entire staff and did a tremendous job. They were very quick to get in touch and Sarah got a sense of what was going on, and helped with some initial calming and support (which was much needed at the time and had a real impact). Then we had a few more meetings with Nadine who we can't thank enough for all of her support and caring. They both made a real difference when we needed it most. They helped calm our thinking, and boost our emotional strength, resilience. They helped us settle down, become less confused and stressed out, and that allowed us to deal with the situation, to do what we needed to make tough decisions and get thru some very hard times. If they hadn't been there to help, our lives would have gone sideways more than once. The impact they had on us may well have saved my life. The default path we were heading down when we reached out to them had a hidden life-threatening risk that we likely wouldn't have avoided. Being able to find our way to a better path made a huge difference. For anyone considering Noble, I can tell you from our experience, these folks are wonderful! Noble poached our loved one out of Temple Post Acute(TPA) who was there for rehabilitation after…read moremajor back surgery. She was discharged from TPA and at the meeting a Noble sales rep attended the meeting. As the patient was at TPA for rehab we knew she was NOT terminal and the rep told us Noble was there to help. So we agreed, she came home and I was the main caregiver. At first Noble seemed helpful--the first two nurses were great. Then came the 3rd nurse on May 10th 2026. She immediately withheld her diabetic medication cold turkey--a medicine she had been taking daily for over 3 years. On May 27th 2026 she died. If you care about your Loved one avoid TPA and Noble Hospice like the plague. They don't care about you--it's all about the money.

They earned the trust of both my mother (currently 92) and myself. I live in California and knowing that I could trust Monica and Lisa to look out for my mother and I could contact them at any time was my highest priority. The team of caregivers lead by Monica and Lisa were caring and giving. They did the daily tasks well of making sure my mother was comfortable, safe, consistent with her prescriptions and provided companionship. They did the special emergency situations exceptionally well, changing their schedule to deal with falls and accompanying my mother to the hospital. Recently I moved my mother to California to be closer to me. My only regret is that I could not convince Monica and Lisa to move with her.

However, if you are a family member…read morelooking for hospice services for a family member, it is comforting to be able to search out as much information as you can, from others who have walked before you. My mother spent her last week on earth at The Serenity House. It sounds old-fashioned and corny, but finding them was the "God send" I was looking for and needing. I was feeling lost and frightened about the process of caring for my Mom in her last days. Physically and emotionally it can be challenging. You love you family and want to take care of them, but the time may come that you need supportive services. The staff at Serenity House were very competent and caring. My Mom was very well cared for and I appreciate how they would brace her with pillows to keep her comfortable and relief pressure. The facility was always clean and the workers all genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs and seemed to relate well and respect one another. It is worth noting that it is a very lovely facility and the rooms were very nice. I owe them a debt of gratitude for not only what they did for my Mom (who had dementia) and really slept her whole time there, it is was they provided me. A sense of caring, safety and support in the days up to my Mom passing away. They took the burden and lifted it off my shoulders and I thank them for that.

The woman I spoke with was extremely patient and thorough in answering all my questions. Fast forward two days. While my sister and my dad's companion were unable to make decisions on the needs of my father and his quick decline, the urgency in my sister's voice forced the decisions on what would be the best for him. Hospice was contacted and they had an in-take nurse out within 2 hours on a Thursday, about 7 pm. A plan was created for my dad and he was made comfortable. The following morning, day two, his case RN came to his home and a more detailed plan was formed. The needed meds were at my dad's house within several hours. I arrived on the third day of my dad being in hospice. While he seems somewhat better this day, we are noticing a downward trend in multiple areas. A hospice nurse stopped by as my dad caused a skin tear on his leg while we were transferring him from the toilet to the walker seat and we had trouble getting the bleeding to stop. On the fourth day in hospice, Dad had a very difficult night and the decision was made that we needed a hospital bed in hopes that we could make him more comfortable by elevating his head and knees. Hospice was contacted and we had a hospital bed within 3 hours. On the morning of the fifth day, it became quite evident that my dad's passing was imminent but we needed better pain management. Janelle, his hospice nurse, came out and spent about 2 hours with us. She walked us through the process of dying and how to ensure that our dad wouldn't be in pain. She shared with me how to take the meds, crushing them up and adding water so I could administer these drugs with a syringe into his mouth until the liquid meds got to us. No, hospice can't take away our sorrow, but they did make sure that my dad was not in pain from cancer that had metastasized into his bones, spine, and brain. Within several hours of passing, hospice had my dad's body removed from his home to the funeral home that was prearranged. The following day, the hospital bed and other equipment had been picked up. The only issue we had was not so much with hospice but the third-party company they contract with to get the meds out to the patient's homes. That company sent two of one prescription instead of an extended-release painkiller. This was rectified the following day.

My fiancé went under Hospice care from home on July 5, 2026 and passed away on September 1, 2026…read more Her care was not 100% all of the time. The very first visit from Hospice was very depressing. Kimberly a nurse and a spokesperson for Hospice was very negative about my fiancé's prognosis. She was talking about taking her off her medications because she would not be around long. I realize that Hospice is for a persons end of life but still you don't treat people that way. As a family we were hoping for her to get better. There were some good nurses and CNA's that gave my fiancé quality care. On the last weekend of my fiancés life Kimberly and my fiancés regular nurse came on Friday to treat the leg wound she had. Well she was in a great deal of pain so Kimberly and the nurse after consulting the doctor decided to give my fiancé three full syringes of morphine in a 90 minute time frame. That is way too much morphine at one time. The result from this was that she was still in a lot of pain. Afterwards she was in a deep sleep for the next five days until her death. Needless to say she did not eat or drink. She had been on strong doses of morphine before as well. After reading this you be the judge of what happened. If I ever get in a state of when I need care I NEVER want Hospice for care!

There were serious issues with her care coordination, intake process, medication orders and supply, etc. My mother was in pain for 2 of the 2 1/2 days she was on hospice before she died. We knew she was very near death so we just tried to correct the issues instead of changing the hospice company. That meant we had very little time to sit vigil with her, and instead were trying to figure out how to get all these issues resolved. I did hear from the clinical Director afterwards, and shared the details and I appreciated her listening, but I'm sharing this for the sake of others who could hopefully avoid it.

The morning my mother passed we made 4 calls to them over 3.5hrs!! 3.5hrs for the first representative from Thema just to respond on the phone. 4.5hrs for the first nurse to come to the house. 6hrs for them to finally get the mortuary to come pick up our mother. Things that happen to a body that long after passing are things no family should ever have to endure. Even the CEO called later to apologize and claimed this was being handled "personally". Was promised a call back 4 days later to explain more. 16 days later I had to call the CEO. He didn't even remember this event nor did he ever call to explain what happened and how they made sure it wouldn't happen again!!!

The business, Like Family Home Care, I was approached by the owner, Adam, who conducted an assessment of my home. He demonstrated exceptional attentiveness to my needs, which immediately impressed me. He was very experienced. I was subsequently assigned to five caregivers, with Kelsey being the most present. Kelsey is exceptionally caring and passionate about her work, prioritizing the well-being of her clients. She effectively assisted me with showering, dressing, mobility, and transfers. Kelsey gained valuable experience in cleaning and dressing my wound, as well as helping with my daily chores, including cooking, laundry, and cleaning my home. I highly recommend Kelsey. All the caregivers provided exceptional support throughout my recovery. Adam and Amber were particularly helpful in every situation. I wholeheartedly recommend their service to anyone in need of personal care assistance. I genuinely felt like part of a family during my time with them, and I was saddened to see them depart.
