I am a real customer and my experience was beyond horrible and it almost made us miss our trip had I not gotten an appointment in DC at the passport agency as Passportsandvisas.com not only lost my boyfriend's passport at the last minute, but our customer service agent stopped communicating with us (he never really communicated with us that much in the first place. To put the story into context, I was handling getting my boyfriend's passport renewed for him as he just didn't have time to do it himself. On Match 11, 2024 I overnighted the passport renewal info for my boyfriend to his assigned customer service agent Mike Sosa who is located in Florida. He did communicate with me to confirm that all of the documents were correctly filled out and that the documents had been received. That was the last time I heard from Mike Sosa until I emailed him April 17, 2024 to ask about the status of the passport. Mike emailed me back on April 18th to inform me that the passport would arrive April 24, 2024. The passport never arrived. I emailed Mike Sosa multiple times on April 24, 2024. I also called passportsandvisas.com five times on April 24, 2024 and spoke to five different women all of whom hung up on me while I was telling them that the passport never arrived and could they please update me on where it was. It was like the call dropped every time. I got no where. Mike called me for the first time ever on April 25, 2024 and told me that the passport had been lost somewhere between their office in Colorado and the passport agency. The entire reason I decided to go with this company was that they were supposed to be able to monitor the process of the passport in it's journey of getting renewed, it was supposed to be white glove service. Then tell me how/why Mike Sosa told me on April 18th that the passport was getting processed and it would be overnighted to my boyfriend on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 and would arrive Wednesday, April 24, 2024? Shouldn't he have been able to see that the passport never made it to the State Department?? Had I not emailed him the day it was supposed to arrive and just waited, would he have ever contacted me? Who knows. While on the phone with Mike he told me that he would email me the instructions for the new situation we found ourselves in, that of a now lost passport. Please realize at this point, I only had a week left before our trip. I asked Mike Sosa would passportsandvisas.com pay for the state department fee since they lost the passport. He told me he would check with his manager and never called me back. I called and left multiple voicemails for Mike Sosa and I also emailed him and he never responded. I'm still emailing him asking for a refund for the $237 my boyfriend paid for the expediting service that never occurred. So what did we do? We got on the State Department's website and got an appointment at the passport agency in Washington, DC and got his passport in one day. I've never heard back from Mike Sosa after six emails asking for a refund for a service that was never provided. I tell you all of this as my experience matches up exactly with what everyone on Facebook said happened to them. They would call into the company and not only did it take an act of congress to get someone to answer the phone, but they constantly got hung up on. I received no help at all when I called the company. Mike Sosa to this day will not return my phone calls or emails. I truly believe that this company is a sham. If you want nothing more than a run around, headache, to lose your money and possibly miss your trip then go ahead and give passportsandvisas.com a try. I have a hard time believing any of these positive reviews are not paid for by the company and/or are being posted by non-existent customers. My experience was awful. I paid $429.00 for a 12-day passport service. Less than a week later, I received an email and phone call saying the overnight FedEx package was 'being held' by FedEx and that my passport application (only good for 5 days) would expire before they got it. So, I was asked to produce the entirety of the paperwork again (DS-11, Letter of Authorization, Proof of Departure, and photo), set up another acceptance appointment with the USPS, and pay another, $35 USPS passport application fee. The earliest USPS appointment was 2 days after I was supposed to leave for my business trip. So, it was completely pointless to use the service. I emailed them asking for a refund since I could no longer benefit from an expedited passport and was completely ignored. I tried two different emails and got no response after numerous attempts. Obviously, the $429 is a total loss. I'm not getting that money back. So, I learned a valuable lesson trusting these 'positive reviews'. Don't believe them. I placed an order for an expedited passport on April 20, 2023. I called not even thirty minutes later to cancel my order, and someone told me that I could receive a refund; however, I believe the person I spoke to said $50 would be taken for some cancellation fee, and it would take 14 business days. Since then, I have been trying to get into contact with this company several times a week, and no one answers or I get told that it would be pushed to an urgent refund. I have not been able to get with someone on the phone for three months now, no answer. It is absolutely ridiculous that it is taking this long. I either get put on hold or transferred, or my emails do not get responded to. This company claims that workers are available five days a week from 9 a.m. EST to 5 p.m. EST, Monday - Friday. Placed order on October 16 for expedited U.S. passport renewal for my daughter who will be traveling out of the country on Nov 1-4, 2018. $229 was charged to my American Express card by passportsandvisas.com. Fortunately, I had written my order number down on a piece of paper and was able to go online and check the status of it. That is where the documents process is outlined and we learned that although my daughter just turned 18 years old, the old passport we were supposed to send in needed to be issued when she "was 16 or older." It wasn't. It was issued when she was 13. We called the phone number and sat on hold for hours only to be repeatedly disconnected. We tried the live chat button on the website, but it goes nowhere. 8/14 I contacted the company and explained I had travel plans for 9/12. We went with the 15 day service as that would have my passport back to me on 9/6. I was assured at the time that this would not be an issue and I would indeed have my passport back by 9/6 if not earlier. PLEASE READ. DONT MAKE MY MISTAKE This company is FRAUDULENT and a complete SCAM. Used this company about 2 years ago for a Brazil visa and had no problems. So when it was time for me to get a visa for my trip to China, I didn't think twice. Boy should I have looked at the reviews. After paying them 300 dollars and speaking to two people, I sent all of my documents including my passport to the company for a 10 day process. This was back in October. When I received no confirmation from them for days, I tried calling them. Nobody would pick up the phone. Tried calling every single office and emailing every email, and contacting my "case manager". They put you in a queue and counts down from caller 3, caller 2, caller 1 then you will be disconnected. As my trip to China became closer I ended up having to go to the US State Department to expedite a new passport and report the other as stolen. Then I had to go to the Chinese Consulate myself and apply for an expedited visa. All throughout this process I could not reach the agency at all AFTER they had taken my money and passport. I received my own visa from my efforts of going to New York Consulate last month.. However yesterday I receive the FIRST email since October from this agency reporting that they are returning my passport. Tried calling again and NO RESPONSE. My husband and I were highly recommended to use Passports & Visas for obtain our China visas last October. We scheduled an appointment with enough time for all documents to be processed and scheduled an appointment at their Blue Lagoon office. Prepaid over $488++ to have our China visas issued, their service fee and received absolutely NOTHING. My husband had to travel to Texas to pick up the passport and visas in person because we were two days away from our travel date with fully prepaid/non-refundable air, hotels and excursions in China but had no visas or passports to travel with. We decided to go pick up the visas and passports ourselves as their suggestion was for us to cancel the trip because the Embassy of China was having problems issuing visas. Little did we know the Embassy had no issues what so ever. The ones with the issues were the Passports & Visas offices. Since we couldn't cancel our trip we said we would travel to the Embassy of China in Texas to pick up the passports and visas ourselves and they suggested we bring back the receipts so they could refund us back. Refund??? Did i hear refund? How? They never answered our calls and their office was closed - yet they took our money upfront! Well, long story short - we had to pay air fare, hotel, car rental, plus unpaid time off from work for my husband to go pick up our passports and visas for both of us. Otherwise, we would have lost our entire two weeks' vacation expenses and experiences in China. We have been calling since last October and have sent several emails, but like everyone says - you are placed on hold cues and when its your turn - your call is disconnected. Now, you don't even go to a cue - it says the phones have been disconnected! All of them! And try getting an answer by email? Don't even bother! They don't even open the emails. I just paid Passport & Visas $117 to rush the process of changing my name on my passport since we are going on a trip soon. After making the payment, I realized I could just use my passport showing my maiden name to get into the county I am traveling to and so I requested a refund. I was told that I will not get a full refund back and that they will be taking $50 of the $117 I paid for literally doing nothing to help me. I did not even send them my paperwork yet! We will see if I even get any money back at this point. NOTE: If you need to change a name on your passport, you DO NOT need to go through a third party like this company, especially if you do not need to rush the process. All they do is charge you over $100 to hold paperwork and then they send it off to the State Department claiming their process is faster. You can skip this step and do it yourself. Service and support extremely disappointing, deceiving and frustrating. I was told via Live chat that the Visa appointment date showing in their web site was guaranteed upon payment. Two weeks after making the $717.00 payment and innumerable calls and emails begging for information, I was told that the Visa appointment had been scheduled three weeks after the travel date. It is unbelievable the type of service this company provides, it sounded like a scam due to the lack of communication. I've never been more stressed about a trip before in my life. The people at Passports and Visas have been untrue about everything they said from the beginning. About the total cost, the amount of time my visa would take, and about the level of customer service I would receive. So far it's taken double the amount of time to receive my visa, its cost about 75 dollars more than they quoted me, and the only time I hear back from my "account manager" is when I suspiciously owe more money. Misleading, stressful, horrible experience. What they do not tell you is that they do not begin processing your expedited order unless your travel is within two weeks. I payed for 8 day expedited service and a personal concierge. The day after she received my items she told me my paperwork was submitted to the government which they are very clear is when your payed expedited days begin, not the day they receive your items. After she confirmed everything was sent off she said she would send an update once it was in route to me. Eight days later I heard nothing so I had to email and call to follow up. My concierge responded to me saying she told me my items would not be submitted until the 30th - a complete lie! When I had proof of her telling me they had already been submitted. I have records of her telling me my passport would be to me the following month by the 5th, then it was the 6th...then I called again to talk to others to help me and I was told it would be the 15th, 16, then the 17th that I would receive it by. She told me she would give me a tracking number once she had it which never came, so someone else got involved when I kept asking for it telling me I had to call the government agency to get that number because they did not have it. My passport arrived only 6 days before my travel and I almost had to book an appointment at passport headquarters to get it in person because it was cutting it so close. If you are paying for an expedited service just keep in mind that since they will hold on to it until two weeks from your travel, they won't send it in until then but they'll lie to you about it so you think it's submitted and on its way to you. They were so short and impatient with me as well because I had to keep following up as I was not checked in with or reassured. Just beware and ask questions about what the expedited services mean for your travel dates. Since it's a customer service-based business, you'd think they would spend some time on grooming their employee(s), but they don't. It was a terrible experience. First he had me fill out an online passport form which he bundles together in a packet for me to take to a local mayor's office to be notarized by them ($25 service). After I finished, he starts asking me if I have anything from Travelocity or an itinerary because I needed proof to get expedited service. Mind you, he LITERALLY asked me three (3) times! It's like he blew me off or thought I was lying. Either way, it's piss-poor customer service. I think he was half asleep from staying up late the night before because he downed the 2nd half of his Maximum Energy 5 Hour Energy Shot. As we spoke, he answered the phone and held a finger up to me as if to silence me and turned his full attention to the people on the phone. I understand if he answered the phone "Would you mind holding for a second, please?" then apologized to me and went back to the customer on the phone, but holy hell, he didn't even do that! I'm not a bloody dog! He also asked me if I have my pictures for the passport with me (I didn't bring mine thinking they were a full service location since he didn't mention to bring them in; they're not full service!) and the guy told me not to worry, I can get them at the place he's going to have me go, mind you, he never mentions I have to pay for them and much less only in cash ($10). Of course, prior to that, I was asked if I had the cash for the mayor's office because they only take cash, if not I needed a money order. I had to get a money order or check payable to the Department of State for $150 and suggested Publix a few blocks away. I confronted him several times citing he never said any of this on the phone. He simply nodded stupidly and looked down at the floor as he tried to deflect attention from his shortcomings in an attempt to diffuse the situation and mitigate my anger. I finally make it to the mayor's office and the lady tells me the guy had me fill out the wrong form and I end up filling out another. It was a terrible experience. Here is my spill: AVOID THIS PLACE! Find another suitable place with higher ratings and with more competent personnel. When I called them about processing a year-long Chinese work visa, they told me that it was impossible to submit a visa application for any stay longer than 90 days. I informed them that this was not true, since a colleague of mine had just obtained a year-long work visa from them a few months earlier (incidentally, P&V had sent his completed documents to the wrong address, nearly causing him to miss his non-refundable flight). Their customer service rep. was, nonetheless, adamant that this could NOT be done. He didn't check with his supervisor, nor did he bother to check the Chinese Consulate website, which SPECIFICALLY says that you may pay an agency to submit a visa for ANY length of time (authorized in your invitation letter) on your behalf. If I hadn't already known better, I would have ended-up spending hundreds of extra dollars to fly to the consulate in person and wait several days for my visa to be processed. It's one thing to be unsure of the answer to a question, it's quite another to deliberately avoid seeking an answer. PassportAndVisas' customer service clearly couldn't care less whether or not their answer was correct or whether I chose to utilize their services. Carelessness kills in time-sensitive operations like last-minute visa processing. I wouldn't trust an unprofessional organization like this with my career, and neither should you. read more

Very Bad service!!! Do not use them!!! Paid over $200 dollars, called asked about their list of document to submit. Authorization Letter I was told I needed to get from the post office, which was false information. Post office informed me letter has to come from passports & Visas. I just paid post office and extra $60 dollars to expedite my passport all in one location. I emailed after 43 hours of purchasing their service to asked for refund and then followed up with a phone call to get a reply that I passed my 24 hour mark. I advised on false information given on their end by their representative but was told that they will look into phone records but can not give a time frame when they will get back to me?!?! So $200 dollars is gone and no refund based on false information they gave over over phone not to mention its very hard to get them on the phone to answer your questions accurately, which frustrating since they just took $200 of your money and then ask for $170 to the Government so total of $370 plus passport photos to a total of $385!!! NOT Worth it, Bad policy of NO refund and Bad customer service with false information. Go the post office pay extra $60 and be done with it! read more

I filled out their order form, but never engaged with them. I sent them no documents, and was not contacted by them. They refuse to offer a (even partial) refund and insist on retaining my rush visa charge ($514). This company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. They claim that they will be in touch with you as they process your information. Not only do they not communicate by calling you, but they don't answer emails. In addition, when you try to call them, you can never get through. EVER. Just when you become the next caller, the line goes busy. I tried to call several times a day for about a week and never got through. Remember that you are sending them very sensitive material and it is important to know where those items are at all times. PLEASE listen to me and use the post office. They can expedite for you and it doesn't cost as much as this company. I would go with a complete zero rating if I could. I WARNED YOU! read more

I got my visa with no problems. So there's that for starters. HOWEVER. My husband applied and then everything fell apart. His case manager stopped responding, her manager was "out of office," and the general (800) number had intolerably long phone queues. Which I nonetheless waited in, only to have the phone ring...and no one pick up. Seriously, either there was no one there or they just ignored it. The only way to actually get in touch with these people seemed to be a full phone and email campaign, so that's what I did. I called when they opened at 8 (if you're having problems, call early in the morning!) and didn't stop. I got other managers' numbers thanks to one sympathetic person, and then I left voicemails. And emails. And more voicemails, and more emails. Never rude, but definitely firm. Eventually, I started mentioning my lawyers. FINALLY someone got in touch with a brusque "it's in processing." Helpful, right? No. So more emails, more voicemails, more calls, and then someone "miraculously" found the passport and would send it to arrive...one day before the trip. No again. Finally got them to send it with a whole two and a half days to spare after this prolonged campaign. And when it finally arrived, the visa said it had been completed over a week beforehand! What a disgrace. If you have plenty of time before your trip, this place might work. DON'T use them for emergencies. We should have just taken a (long) trip to the consulate, would have been equivalent cost and less stressful. I recently used this place to obtain a visa for a future trip. The website provided clear instructions for completing the application and the needed documentation. I decided to drop off my application to save the $30.00 fed-ex fee to have the visa shipped to my home. The staff was very pleasant. I called several times while completing my Chinese visa application and each time the representative was patient and helpful. The Miami location is easy to find. The staff there were superb! I made some minor mistakes on the application but was told it would be corrected on my behalf. My visa came within a week, but they also offer expedited services for an additional fee.The process was very easy. I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews about this place, particularly reading them after my passport and payment were already submitted. My friends and I used this company to obtain our visas for an upcoming trip to China. The process was quite simple, in spite the on-line visa application, which, for some reason I was never able to complete using their website. Once my application was completed I traveled over to the office, which was conveniently located one traffic light south and a few blocks east off the 836 and 57th avenue. By the way, one can mail their application to the company for an additional fee. Within minutes of my arrival, I was greeted by Giovanni who reviewed my application, swiped my credit card and sent me on my marry to wait one week for my visa. Within a week and a day, including Labor Day, I received a phone call that my my visa was ready. Yippie!!! Also my friends and I, a group of 10, received a 20% discount off the cost the company's processing fee. I also had no trouble, during a second phone call to the company, with someone answering within minutes and quickly answering my questions. Would I use this company again?
