Really impressed with the service, ambiance and pasta here! We are in love with the chef's pasta which is a freshly made strozzapreti. It's thick with a nice, chewy bite. Holds the sauce very well. The truffle mushroom pasta is phenomenal. Rich and creamy with the right amount of truffle flavor. My husband loved the bolognese and said it was slightly sweet and bright. Our meals came with a breadstick each that I enjoyed dipping into the sauce. We especially loved how fast and affordable it is. Clean, too! I was totally surprised when we walked in the door to find a "rest stop style" restaurant. The only Italian atmosphere was the music, as I suspect it was Dean Martin! The color scheme of yellow throws your take on it being an Italian place. Now for the food: the one homemade Chef's Pasta was very good, a gnocchi style noodle. The marinara is straight out of a carton, crushed tomato sauce. Very little seasoning, really doesn't seem like much of an effort. My Italian sausage, another surprise, obviously not the usual, more like an "Italian hot dog". When approached he refused to replace the sandwich and threatened call the police if my 84 year old mother didn't leave the store. Pasta Di Guy in Trinity Is one of my family's favorite place to eat when we are looking for very good & affordable food. Been inside this location probably 30 times and it is always well-lit, very clean, and the employees are always very welcoming. The service is stellar and I've never had anything less than 5 stars. The food is better than all other restaurants of this type and even places that 1 would think above it. It knocks Olive Garden out of the water, It's way better than carabas and all of the Italian restaurants locally are just pizza places that also serve pasta and other dishes. We go here quite often and pass several restaurants on our way to this location. I highly recommend this place to someone looking to grab a quick lunch, a family looking for a fun place to eat that still has good food, and really anybody who's hungry. read more

Wife and I decided to stop by Pasta di Guy Saturday night. We've never be even though we live mere minutes away. As soon as we walked into the restaurant we both really enjoyed the clean modern look. Very inviting and comfortable atmosphere. My wife ordered the Chef Guy favorite which contains chefs pasta (made from scratch strozzapreti) vodka sauce and Italian sausage. We absolutely loved everything about this dish. The pasta which we've never had freshly made before, was so fresh and tasty and we can see why everyone raves about freshly made. The sauce was light and flavorful. The sausage was perfectly flavorful and made you want more. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with strozzapreti pasta. The red sauce was flavorful and fresh tasting. The chicken was juicy and so tasty. I'll definitely get these two dishes again soon. We shared some breadsticks which were freshly baked with some marinara. The breadsticks were awesome and a must get when you order. Lastly we shared a cheesecake cannoli. This cannoli was amazing. The cheesecake was light and slightly sweet. We absolutely will be getting one again next time we're in. If you haven't tried this place yet you're really missing out. Please if you enjoy pasta/Italian food give this place a try. So I ordered the chefs pasta, Alfredo sauce, cremini mushrooms, and truffle oil. if you dine in they give you one free breadstick. It looks identical to Olive Garden breadsticks, but half the size, but very good. I absolutely loved the meal, although it was very rich. A couple of hours later I was incredibly sick. The next day, I had my leftovers for lunch, and again got very sick. I think I'm just getting sensitive in my older age. I will try this place again, but will try something else. Today I was struggling to find a local lunch spot I had not ordered from to treat my team to an appropriation luncheon. Then I remembered a sales person coming to our business and dropping off flyers with coupons and menus. I presented the idea to my team of hungry bankers and we reached an agreement. Pasta DiGuy it was going to be! We reviewed the website first to see what may have changed. The website was very user-friendly, and also offered direct delivery through DoorDash. We passed around the menu, came up with her ideas, built different dishes and appetizers and placed our order for delivery at 12:30. Right on schedule DoorDash arrived with a friendly smile and hot meals that filled our lobby with the smells of Italy. I was hesitant at first thinking that pasta to go then delivered and waiting in a plastic container, Couldn't be good. Was I pleasantly surprised not only was my pasta still hot, but fresh, flavorful and delicious. This thinking through my decision now on ordering pasta and eat it at 1 o'clock in the afternoon may come back to haunt me! Now as my stomach is full and heavy, I feel a nap could be in order soon! Only downside is they would not honor the coupons dropped off because they had no codes on them, so no $5.00 off $25 nor a free cannoli with $20 purchase. The pasta itself was a little under cooked and the meat was laced with fat. There was enough sugar in the sauce to cause a diabetic coma. My wife's lasagna had similar issues. Tom Terrific here with another honest restaurant review. I was doing business at a place in this plaza and was curious about Pasta Di Guy. It said that the menu items were made from scratch so i popped in with a pretty good hunger. I was surprised to see it was a walk up counter like a fast food restaurant with the menu items right overhead. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese (BOW-LA-NAYZ). The person taking my order was Tiffany a bright, smiley attractive woman like the kind that makes a great employee. I dislike it when i see piercings and ink covering my server's face and body. In 10 minutes Tiffany brought out a steaming bowl of spahetti with thick red sauce and chunks of meat all over it. There was no water at the bottom of the bowl that you may see from some places that do not simmer their sauce long enough. This was sauce properly made. The spahetti noodles were indeed homemade and heavenly. You could just taste the difference on the first bite. The sauce was the kind i like with a subtle sweetness, full bodied, thick and rich with pieces of meat mixed through. I'm afraid i became a shoveler at that moment and began wolfing it down. Then my mother's words came back to me. "Slow down boys and enjoy your food." We were all fast eaters except Mom and i hate to say there were times she ate alone as my brother, Dad and i went to the living room after we poured her food down our gullets. Poor Mom. We did help with the dishes though. LOL Tiffany came to my table with a smile to see if i needed anything. I told her how pleased i was. It's a wonderful feeling when you discover a place like this where the food is so good and the atmosphere appealing. I checked out the restroom and it was new and clean. In fact, the whole dining room looked like a new remodel and everything was spic n span. I liked the yellowseats, booths and tables. Modern lighting hung from the ceiling with canvas art on the walls depicting different foods. The floor was gray tile. The spaghetti bolognese was about $12.50 plus tax. I tipped Tiffany $3. I'll be back at some point to try their other pasta dishes. In the mean time i urge you to give Pasta Di Guy a try. I recommend it. read more
