First time ordering here. Got a Sicilian pizza. The crust was at least an inch thick with very little toppings. It was like eating a flavored bread. Too much bread for the lack of toppings. All you tasted was the bread and the bread was not the best tasting either. Would not recommend at all. The thick crust at Little Caesars is so much better. Very nice smaller restaurant and pizza. Lasagna was very good and hot as well as made fresh to order. Waitress was very friendly and gave great service! My husband had the Italian combo and was very impressed by it. The fresh salads and bread were very delicious and bread was served warm with butter. The stuffed mushrooms were excellent and the sauce was delicious surprise Prices are reasonable and servings were plentiful and appealing will return again soon. Pizza or nothing. Got a few different pastas for the family. The portions were definitely generous but very bland. You can taste there are some fresh herbs in the sauces but not one bit of salt and pepper in anything. Spaghetti and meat sauce tasted like boiled ground beef in their red sauce. The manicotti are not really what they are. They use pasta sheets and roll them. One major thing is the "HOMEMADE" tiramisu is definitely store bought. We got it Togo and it was till frozen because they cut it from a frozen Sysco container and put it in a styrofoam container. For their side of 2 Italian sausages it is really just 1 normal size link cut in 1/2 for $10. Their side of meatballs is ok but again not one bit of seasoning. Went there for Mothers Day. Place was empty at 4:30pm We had a party of 5 all adults. The waitress was attentive at first. It took us a little bit to order our food because we never ate their before. This place is DELICIOUS!!! We phoned in our order, the lady on the phone took our order quickly and accurately. We are only 2 and a pup, so we were ordering the medium Special Neo, and noticed a large is just $1 more so we decided to upgrade. And we're happy we did!!! We almost finished the WHOLE pizza!! It was exactly how we ordered and better! The Greek salad had potato salad with it another surprise, and it was so tasty! We are excited to go back and try their pastas and entrees. During my travels in Florida I was in the mood for some really good New York style Pizza. I noticed Angelo's and I decided to try them out. As soon as I walked in I noticed there was a lot of locals having lunch and that was a clear sign that the food at Angelo's was going to be a treat. Ohh Angelo's! Went in here with my wife and 2 year old grandson at about 8pm on Friday.. ( a lot of other restaurants in the area had long waits and we were already feeding the baby later than we should have been! ) my wife ordered the veal rollatini... it came out cold with RAW VEAL.. not undercooked.. RAW MEAT.. when my wife told the waitress.. her response .. and I quote was "Do you want me to wrap it up so you can finish cooking it when you get home" WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THAT.. when I told my son about this experience ( he's a chef in NYC him and his wife are visiting and we're out with friends here ) he hit the roof! Serving Raw meat can result in the spread of bacteria such as salmonella, E. coli, and listeria. These bacteria can cause different types illnesses, which can cuss nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and even death in severe cases! He was worried his son came in contact with it most of all! When he said to me "well atleast you didn't pay for it" I told him the restaurant didn't even attempt to take it off the bill and had us pay for it.. in my younger days I would have fought tooth and nail but I was just so disgusted and hungry that we just went to McDonald's a few doors down for a better meal.. this place does not serve quality food.. nor do they care about their customers happiness health or their own product! Absolutely disgraceful.. will never ever ever step foot in there again... the owners apparently are related to Rossi's in New Port Richey and now it all makes sense... last time my son and daughter in law visited with their in laws .. My husband and I ate here last weekend. He is very particular about his food and he LOVED his squid and conch pasta dish. He told the waitress over and over how good it was. The only drawback, it was very warm. The air conditioning was either not working or set a the wrong temperature. The waitress, poor thing, was the only one working, someone had called in sick and she was sweating like crazy. She was still pleasant and very sweet. Good food won out over the draw backs. I went to this restaurant because it was top rated on my search for nearby restaurants as I was visiting the area. I walked out happy and full. I was greeted by a delightful waitress who was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I had the Soup of the day (Monday) and it happened to be Italian wedding. The soup was hot and flavorful, what kicked it up a notch was definitely the complimentary hot bread that was served with real butter. After the soup I decided to try a slice of pepperoni pizza and the Penne Vodka. Wow! Loads of flavor in the Penne Vodka just the way it should be. I used to always stop in here when I was in the area. Yesterday I ordered a Neapolitan pie via Grub Hub, had to wait 45 minutes to pick it up, and when I got it home found it was a Sicilian pie! The food was amazing! We drove by and decided to check it out. Simple yet classy. My husband had the Stromboli calzone. It was the perfect amount of thinner crust packed with meat and cheese! I enjoyed the house salad dressing and the grouper was in season and beyond amazing! I'm still licking my lips writing the review in the car. It was a lot of food for the price! I loved the onion, mushroom and garlic sauce. The grouper was cooked perfect and not fishy. I must have driven by this place daily for the last 7 years. Tonight, after the gym the beau and I decided that we should grab some grub and I decided that Angelo's pizza would be where we'd get our food. Walking in, it wasn't busy, but it sure smelled delicious. The eatery was sporting 3 different families eating, including the kids of one of the cooks, and boy!They were cute. We were able to sit where we wanted, and our waitress was there in a flash to take our drink orders. I ran to the rest room (It was clean and even had a few current ladies magazines.)while the beau placed our order for a Mozzarella Caprese salad, and Chicken Parmagana, with a salad. The Caprese was delightful, the Chicken Parmigana was great! The order was large enough to split between the two of us, with it's side of linguini. We left happily full. read more
