Me and my husband shared the Seafood platter with mussels shrimp and clams serve over pasta cooked with perfect olive oil fresh garlic and herbs with lemon potatoes. Loved the taste of the seafood platter. We tried ed the falafel fried balls for first time delicious made from chicken peas served with a dip. Received a complimentary dessert just right not too sweet Balaclava was delicious. Tiana was a great server and welcoming and friendly. The restaurant offer in door and out door seating. Very cute place in downtown New Port Richey! The food was delicious and the service was awesome! We started out with cocktails that were displayed so cute! Then we opted for the saganaki (Greek fried cheese) and some lemon chicken soup. Both were very good. We then had the Florida Greek Salad (comes with potato salad on top) and a side of gyro meat that we topped our salads off with. The salad was huge and very fresh. We've been there 3 times already and every time it's great! The food is delicious, great quantity and quality and the server is very helpful and nice! Delicious meal tonight with wonderful service at Ela! We were seated quickly on a busy Friday night in downtown New Port Richey. Everyone we encountered in the restaurant was kind and helpful- we learned how to say some names of Greek dishes that were new to us with their help! We stuck with some faves for tonight- started with spanakopita and followed with a gyro pita sandwich with fries and a HUGE portion of moussaka. This is one of New Port Richey's hidden gems. Directly across the street from Richey Suncoast Theatre it's a perfect place for dinner before the show. It's also a short walk to Sims Park, where we walked off dinner. The restaurant is cozy inside and lovely outside, too. We had several dishes, and all were satisfyingly good. The lemon potatoes were something Husband and I had never tasted. They were incredible. Our gyro platters were perfection - the meat was not greasy, was tasty, and there was so much that we had to take some home for lunch the next day. Our boys had the wings and the lamb shanks. They were impressed by taste & presentation of their meals. Service was exceptional. We were not rushed, and whenever we needed or wanted something, we were accommodated. Prices were reasonable. I've stopped in for lunch twice and the food been fresh and flavorful. I got the chicken kebabs with rice and salad. The 2nd time I got the rice bean and beef/lamb bowl. Both were filling and I took half home for another meal. We shared a piece of their orange cake and a few bites was enough. It was very sweet and rich so a taste was perfect. Glad we all shared it. We had a large group reserved here and we're really lucky to have their spacicous back room..Poppi made sure everything ran s.ooth and answered all questions about the menu..service was excellent! Food served fresh and hot and was absolutely delicious...from the Bowls, salads , the Saganaki to the Pasticcio, it was all so good...I highly recommend going here and I personally will come here and support them instead of driving to Tarpon. Independent, and locally owned by members of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. It was our first visit, but will not be our last. The chicken souvlaki bowl was a winner, and you can combine it anyway you want. Choose your base, choose your protein, choose your Veggies, sauce, etc. I love the fact that you can get actual grilled lamb on your pita for a gyro!! Think thinly sliced ribeye for a cheesesteak, but the Greek edition. Yes, you still have the option of the usual gyro beef and lamb mix, but having the option to upgrade and have thinly sliced grilled lamb it is not something you see very often. Our service was excellent, and the waitress was very knowledgeable. You can tell that the Taziki is fresh made. If you opt for the lunch bowl, just add a grilled pita. Ambiance was "Comfortable Greek" if I can coin a phrase...Bistro-ish, which is enjoyable. My dining partner/significant other is mostly from Greek heritage, she enjoyed her meal as well and stated... This place is very cute nestled in old downtown New Port Richey in a building that's over 100 years old. The white walls with blue accents is clean, the exposed brick work is cool. The decorations feel like you are visiting Greece. The food is amazing. My mom ordered the Dolemades and the Calamari. The grape leaves are made daily, the Calamari appears to be house made as well. The coating was light and crispy. I ordered the Lamb Shank with orzo, it was so flavorful and tender. For desert I ordered My Mom a chocolate heart (a layer of chocolate cake, chocolate moose and covered in chocolate) I had the chocolate topped baklava. Mediocre at best. We got 3 gyros. They were ok. The meat was very thick cut not what a typical gyro slice would be, the tomatoes were just as thick. It did have a good flavor and the tzatziki was good as well. The fried feta was a bought frozen product that was a little feta in a dough then battered. Something you could get at a dive bar from Sysco. Florida Greek salad, it's a salad with premade potato salad and again large and thick sliced tomatoes with a big piece of feta on top. The portion is nice but having to chop an entire salad doesn't make sense unless it's a wedge salad. We also got the pastitsio and the moussaka. Both were so inedible because there was so much nutmeg and spices in the béchamel we just threw them both away after one bite. My wife just spit hers out because of the flavor. Sorry but will not return when we throw away $28 on two items that they make in house. read more

My husband ordered the lamb shank with orzo special, and I ordered the spinach pie (a favorite). The spinach pie came with a salad and a block of feta cheese. The portions were significant for us; we both ordered sangria and were surprised to find about 1/3 of the glass filled with fresh fruit. We also had the dessert and took home a pork gyro. The prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was cheery. Bright rooms decorated with photograph murals of Greece. The dessert was baklava and was not overly sweet, freshly made! In conclusion, we found fresh food, excellent service, and delicious sangria at this restaurant. Everything was perfect, and the prices made the place worth it. For anyone reading this review, it was with trepidation that we wondered what could replace Rose's Bistro, but here we have a great place, great food, and a redecorated one.
