Budget is everything when you're in college so when Pasta Plate opened on Taft avenue, my friends and I were ready and waiting at the wings to try this place out. While it may have been a couple of years since we've left the confines of DLSU, I was pleased to know that this establishment still serves out good pastas on a student friendly budget.
From pesto to bolognese, the pasta at this Italian joint is good enough to keep you going for another round of lessons. Surprising as it is, their dishes are flavorful despite the price range (you can have a meal for under P150)o and the servings are also pretty filling. They've also recently added the Sardine Pesto pasta and pizza to their menu!
Even after five years, the place is still in the same original spot. Small but welcoming, best go here during off peak hours to get a proper seat. read more
