Went here twice and had two very different experiences. The first time was at night. This is essentially a fast pasta and fast pizza place so I tried the pasta carbonara thinking it would be average. It was actually excellent, with eggy sauce clinging to the perfectly cooked fettuccini and large cubes of caramelized pork in and around the bowl. My girlfriend had an Alfredo that was similarly fresh and rich. The small bowls are deceiving because neither one of us could finish the whole thing. A couple days later we returned for lunch to try a calzone and a different pasta. The calzone was nearly raw dough on the bottom and cold inside. We sent it back and they cooked it some more but the damage was done. It wasn't very good even if it was cooked all the way. The octopus I added to my pesto pasta bowl was not that good either. Not fresh which it should be in a coastal town. The pesto was creamy but the menu just said pesto so I thought it would be the traditional pesto (oil, basil, garlic, Parmesan cheese and pine nuts, nada mas). The first night was so good, and the lunch so strange, that I will be back to try again. Next time I will try a simple tomato sauce pasta and a flat pizza. At night! read more
