I work as a registered nurse, and I write this as a patient who had dental work performed here…read more I regret ever coming to this office. All of this happened within a span of 6 months. The first time I came here as a new patient, I noticed my tooth was discolored. I mentioned this to the dental hygentist taking care of me, and he said he didn't see anything, and pulled another dental hygentist in the room to look at my tooth. He said to me "That discoloration is the color of your tooth", as the other dental hygienist laughed at me. Another time I went, I asked the woman at the check out desk which pain medication to take after I had my root canal done. She said to me condescendingly, "You won't have any pain because the nerve is gone". She's right that I may not have nerve pain anymore, but I would have inflammation to the surrounding tissues due to the nerve being extracted. There was no need for her attitude. I went there for a routine cleaning recently, and at the end, the dental hygienist said to me "Has it been a while since your last cleaning? Because it looks like it's been... you know..." and gives me a look, insinuating that I had a lot of plaque in my teeth, and that it has been a long time since I had my them cleaned. If you have ever worked in healthcare, you're taught to keep your judgments to yourself and to care for the patient. Another time I went into their office, the endodontist assessed my tooth and determined it would be appropriate to do a second root canal. They had to move me to another room for the procedure, and when I walked in, I saw a bib on the chair. I told one of the employees that a patient left their bib on the chair. The girl took the bib, left the room, and said "They said that was there for you", and I told her "No, I already have one". I had doubts the room was properly clean. After the 2nd part of my root canal was finished, and after the numbing medicine wore off, I have no idea what the dentist did to me, but I had a fat lip that lasted for days. I don't know how common this is, but I've never had this happen to me before. Last, I had a crown placed one week ago, and it fell out last night. I called this morning to come in and be seen, and they refused to see me because they had no cancellations. I wanted to be taken today because it may not be possible to come in for the remainder of the week, due to childcare, work, and various appointments. The woman on the phone said "Then I will tell Michele next week then". They are refusing to see me over a crown they put in one week ago because they have no cancellations. As a patient, all of this behavior is egregious and unacceptable. I should not have tolerated all that I did, and should have seen another dentist sooner. The only positive thing I will say, is that Dr. Singh, the endodontist, was exceptional. I felt little to no pain, he was personable, kind, and soothing. I would recommend anyone to go to him if you need a root canal done. I don't expect this office to take this review seriously, and I have no doubts the people in this office will make fun of this review. But I'm putting this out there to warn other patients of how unprofessional this office runs.

Absolutely top notch care. Dr. Reisman, while his bedside manner could be improved, is the most…read moreskilled of dentists. And trust me, there are a lot of half assed dentists out there. Precise and competent.

I will keep my intensive dental history short as possible, and just say my teeth are in awful shape, painful, and I had had enough when a wisdom tooth started growing in the roof of my mouth. I called these guys because it's a family practice and I liked the idea of scoping things out before my kids. They got me in a day later as emergency. I expected to wait seeing as how I was emergency, but I did not. Front desk was so friendly and helpful even when in my anxious state I kept making mistakes. X-ray tech was fantastic. Wisdom tooth growing in my roof and I didn't even feel the bite X-rays. Zero pain. She was fast as can be too. Pretty much ran back and forth to take a shot. It was impressive. Sadly, nothing the dentist could do for me. I need an oral surgeon to remove my five wisdom teeth. (Yes, I am a mutant) and a few others. They did help me out with that referral etc. office was very clean and modern. Waiting room has a kids area and a kind of walled off area for adults. Nice touch. I was so anxious and I love kids, but was greatdul for a quiet place to sit Fast forward a week later my son gets a toothache. I call. In a day later. Only I messed up the day and my ride didn't show. I called back expecting to be yelled at and all kinds of drama and asked if there was any way to get him in the NEXT day. The woman on the phone was so kind and understanding about it which is rare, AND she got us in the next day. I've had minimal exp with this place but what I see so far has been great. Being offered a bottle of water was a nice touch too. Thanks for that. Edit: son had said appt today. All went great. He needed an extraction of a baby tooth that just wasn't coming loose. They moved so fast. My son is anxious and the quick pace didn't give him time to be afraid. They handled his pain very well. He felt nothing. I was afraid they were going to tell me to go to the waiting room as I have had that happen before, refused and had to leave. They didn't. This office doesn't "kick you out". Well, they did out of the room, but let me stand right behind the chair in the hallway I could see and hear everything and was just a few feet away. The rooms are small so I understand why they can't let you stay in. I was perfectly comfortable with being that close to him, and glad not to be booted out. He is now out of pain and sleeping soundly first time in a week.

So many things have gone wrong at this dentist. They made me a cruddy nightguard that's gross and…read moredoesn't fit, and it took them forever to make it both times. The front desk has no earthly idea what they are doing. They used to schedule you every six months for a cleaning with no issues, but I think about a year and a half ago, they stopped that kind of scheduling. You have to wait for the month you're due for a cleaning to schedule, but then there will be no spots open for that month and your cleaning will be late! I'm due in August, but I can't schedule for it in May? That makes no sense! Not only that, but they treat their adult clients like children. They put us in the big back room with all the TVs playing Bluey. Adults should get their own rooms! But I'm stuck with these people, because I have Medicaid.
