I took excellent customer service for granted, back in the 70's and 80's... because it was always there. This business was established over 60 years ago, and has weathered the storm of the economies since then. Both the afore mentioned things are why they still exist. You'll find items priced competitively. Darrin assisted me with coins on my recent visit. He knows his stuff when it comes to precious metals. If you haven't bought used stuff, try this store. Especially on tools. If tools aren't being used on a daily basis then why pay new prices at the big box stores.

I told him that as I was taking it out of the box. Then he said, I wouldn't be interested in this piece. Next, I took out a beautiful watch and he took a brief look at it and said, there's been some wear on the buckle clasp so I wouldn't be interested. Of course there has been a little wear, it's a wrist watch however there want that much wear because I have only worn it twice. This guy had MAJOR attitude and it's like he didn't even want to be bothered. Pawning is a sensitive issue for everyone however this jerk has lost touch with that and shouldn't be involved with any facet of customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. He had already started to sell his items not even a month after his last payment. I asked him to contact whoever he sold my ring to so I could buy it back with no avail. An expensive Seagull guitar was taken out of its expensive case that it was pawned in and sold apart. When I asked where the case was, he said "I don't know, I guess I sold it, guitar and case were on sale apart", what I argued "why would you leave a 1k guitar unprotected, that's a really expensive guitar" he answered "You know, go to guitar center and get a new case for it, there you go" Don't pawn your things here. Thule Case not listed as a separate item on my ticket and no amount listed on my pawn ticket that was paid to me for my Thule Case.
