I go in for a clean up, which turned into half of my beard being gone, while leaving a long goatee. I thought I'd let it grow out a bit, and it wasn't a super big deal. But when I get home and lived with the beard a little longer, I saw a full clippers width of hair missing on the underside of my neck and how uneven and thin everything looked. If you need a reasonably priced good quality cut and appreciate efficiency I'd recommend trying them out.
