The service provider came when he said he would (Tuesday) and was able to partially fix the problem but not finish it completely. I emailed, as he asked, then sent a text which was how we had communicated before that, then finally after several days without a response I called. Long story short, after two weeks of spotty communication and non-committing responses, he ghosted us. If he didn't want to finish the project, I would have appreciated and respected him saying so. Rather, he just kept putting it off, saying he was busy but check back later, and offering no remedy while we were without power to several outlets in our bedrooms.
