Best bookstore I've ever been in! Books so beautifully displayed I was so tempted to buy a handful of books! The owners are awesome and I'm just so happy that a local store is here in Denton!

The service here is amazing! Everyone is always so friendly and can help you in any way you need. I love coming here on my days off for a sticker, book, or soap, plus I can drink some free coffee while I browse. The children's section is amazing and they have a wide selection of products to choose from. They also have an amazing rewards program where after 6 purchases if you're signed up you get 10% back!!! The only independent bookstore in Denton who takes care of the customers like family.

I've absolutely love this bookstore! It has all of the right elements of a cozy bookstore! I happened upon this place while taking a stroll after leaving a nearby restaurant. I am glad I walked in. Both times I've been in I have been warmly greeted by the staff! On the second trip one of the members brewed a fresh pot of coffee for us to enjoy. Did I mention they have free coffee?? Of course a donation doesn't hurt, bc the coffee is delicious and is locally roasted and the staff grinds it right at the bookstore. There is a good stock of books and a very well appointed area for kids! We love supporting local businesses and this place has a special charm that is missing from a lot of corporation owned stores. We all enjoyed our visit and will return in the future.

Handmade mugs, cards, t-shirts, ornaments, mugs, natural, wooden toys, and other knick-knacks. I will certainly stop in on future visits to Denton and keep it in mind as a place to shop for local gifts. Prices were a bit spendy which is expected for locally, handmade products rather than factory-made. Between Eastside and Bearded Monk-across the street from the post office and only a couple of blocks from Denton's lovely downtown square--a highly recommended shopping or browsing spot in Denton.

The person working at the store was friendly and welcoming when I came in. When I told her I was just checking stores out she told me to make myself at home and let her know is I have any questions. As I looked around I noticed several artistically made items. From a set of glasses made from Topo-Chico bottles to handmade Chap Stick, this place had a nice variety of items to choose from. I also noticed while I was there that this place offers arts and crafts classes right in the middle of the store. They also keep some items out on the table to entertain children while their parents shop. It was nice and refreshing to find a store like this, and I plan to visit them on future visits!

This shop couldn't be more adorable if it tried!…read more I give it 5 stars for being a local small business and for promoting other local businesses. That's awesome and I can get behind that. The soap is $9 for 5 ounces, except the sea salt soaps which are $11. I was told if we bought 3, we get a special deal- $22 I think. We bought one to try out and see how long it lasts, handmade soap is the kind of thing we buy on vacations, so I was excited to try it. We purchased the lemongrass shea butter and it's nice, if not a little rough, and has a lovely, refreshing fragrance. This place isn't cheap for a regular, weekly shopping trip, but everything in this store would make an amazing gift!!! I was amazed at the array of products- jewelry, kitchenware, candles, handmade bags, notebooks, etc. My favorites that I filed away for future gifts were the beautiful bookmarks and the gemstone nightlights. Just gorgeous! My mom and mother in law would LOVE it here! At the time we stopped in, a Saturday mid afternoon, we were the only customers. There was an event going on near the square, so I'm sure that may have been part of the reason. It may also be because they are slightly hidden at the corner of their parking lot, next to a chiropractors office off Elm and Congress. They are the next lot over from where The Cupboard was and the next street over from Seven Mile Café for reference. They are open 10-6pm on weekdays, 10-4pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. The employee was friendly and let us know more about the business. Everything in the store is either made by them or a local business owner. I love places with this kind of business practice and though it's not a cheap gift shop, the pricing definitely matches the quality of the products. They have a loyalty program- you get a point for every product you purchase. Once you get 10 points, you get a free soap! I think this is a must stop if you need a gift for a birthday, anniversary or celebration!

I don't know if I have ever purchased shortcut soaps, but I can tell you these soaps are wonderfully nicer than any others I have tried. Soft on the skin , scents are restrained, not too subtle and not overpowering. Goldilocks would be a fan, they are just right. I will be going back for more, now that I have tried lavender lulu, I am really glad they have a deal on 3 bars!
