A little confusing to find. It's on the second floor in a plaza. From the parking lot there's no sign of this location. Once you are by the stairs / elevators though, you can see them. Was a few minutes late to my appointment, waited about 5-10 minutes to be seen (I guess they were running a little late too). I like that they offer water and coffee. Patty Robles, is amazing! She was very transparent with us (which I really appreciated) explained what she was doing and everything. We had been going to our previous tax preparer for about 9 years and noticed that our refund was smaller and smaller each year. Scheduling with them was difficult this year too so we tried Patty, thanks to a coworker's recommendation, and I am glad we did! One hiccup was our address was incorrect. We didn't notice until we got home, but she said she can correct it. Best part is we were able to get a refund! My husband and I filed joint, Long form, $170. Recommended! read more

All I can say is RUN ! if you just need a simple 1040 tax return I'm sure Patty or her staf can handle that much. Patty at Patelis Tax, for example, charges $200 for a single, no dependent, one employer, no real estate, tax return for returning clients as of 02/01/2021. The same service at Downey Tax Company, where, funnily enough, some former Patelis employees used to work, is only $120 as of the same date. Plus, Patelis Tax wants everything submitted electronically and only meets clients via phone or Zoom while Downey Tax Co. is physically up and running with proper Covid safety protocols in place. It's also in a less sketchy place to be honest. So, save some money and forgo Patelis Tax.
