My mom described the ride scary as it was going fast and she got hurt when she was placed back on the chair. We are waiting for x-ray results. I hope your loved ones does not experience what you made my mom experienced on that day. You are lucky she did not have a heart attack. What goes around comes around! I called a couple of transport company's but they were already closed for the day. Ricardo answered my call and was able to provide a ride for my dad's appointment in the morning. Then we had to change our start date because of street service and Armstrong accommodated us. My mom didn't quite need to be on a stretcher but she couldn't stand without assistance. Other companies refused to help her and said we would have to get a stretcher, except because of the narrow hallways it wouldn't work. Armstrong had no problem using a wheelchair and assist my mom to stand up. They were very professional, accommodating, and reasonably priced. They stayed in communication with me all the time. Unfortunately we didn't get to use them long as my mother passed shortly after we started using Armstrong but I am grateful that they made it easy and affordable for us. I had called a week before to get a reservation to get a ride from the hospital after an outpatient procedure. The phone rang and rang and then finally says their VM is full but you can send a TEXT. I called back again and amazingly the gentleman who own the company answers the phone...but he states he needs to call back later because he doesn't have his schedule. He calls back this one time and I miss the call because I was at dinner and decide it is too late so I call back the next day several times with no response-I sent texts and called at different times a day. So finally I call from another number and he picks up. I tell him who I am and he says that due to his pricing he is basically overstretched, but he says he will call me back later with a time. Well, my procedure is done and I ended up using a company who actually has someone to pick you up and drop you off. 1. If you can't fit me in do not lie and say you're going to call back. 2. Don't avoid your customers. 3. Don't play around with peoples lives-If you are medical based service you are not only playing with the patients schedule but in my case the schedules of the doctor...nurses and anesthesiologist.
